EXCLUSIVE The truth behind the glamorous stars of The Real Housewives of London - including celebrity exes, a 'painful' wedding night and terrifying designer handbag burglaries

Daily Mail24-05-2025

With their modelesque good looks, private jets and millions of pounds in the bank, the stars of new reality series The Real Housewives of London may seem to have it all.
But this week MailOnline took a deeper look at the oh so fabulous cast and found celebrity exes, high-value burglaries and one oh so painful wedding night.
The full line-up for the highly-anticipated series - a spin off of an American reality series that has covered cities in the US, the Middle East and recently Cheshire and Jersey - includes Aussie-born model Juliet Mayhew.
The mum-of-two describes herself as an 'Event & Lifestyle Imaginator' and splits her time between her £6million Kensington townhouse and a sumptuous waterside home in St Mawes, Cornwall.
Juliet, 47, who counts former Neighbours star Holly Valance among her friends, has made no secret of her devout religious faith, regularly sharing bible passages with her 25,000 Instagram followers.
But she took it one step further in 2020 when she appeared on a Christian talkshow to discuss why she chose to stay a virgin until she married hedge fund manager Anthony Mayhew at age 29.
Juliet admitted to being 'horrified' by the 'painful' wedding night following her strict Christian upbringing by parents who refused to discuss sex with her.
Despite her uncomfortable experience, Juliet told host Cynthia Garrett she has lectured young women on abstinence. She said: 'I was like 'girls, If you are representing excellence just stop sleeping with your boyfriends', I think people from the pulpit need to start setting some boundaries.'
And while she was pleased 'we did it God's way' she also admits her husband, who she nicknames Tiggy 'had an experience before me' .
Another of the cast, millionaire model-turned entrepreneur Amanda Cronin, 56, found fame claiming to have the 'longest legs in Belgravia' broke up with former Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley in 2023.
In an interview with the Daily Mail in 2023 she cryptically blamed the split on him not being 'relationship material'.
'I'm looking for a monogamous relationship,' she said. 'When the next Mr Right comes along, he will have the same set of values that I have. I'm quite traditional, a sweet, country girl. I'm also discerning and want to be around other people who understand what that means.'
By way of acknowledgment that the split may have been by mutual consent, she adds: 'I'm intelligent, demanding. Not for everyone.'
The pair met in 2022 after they were seated together at a friend's birthday dinner and while she initially didn't recognise the singer the pair quickly became close and he invited her to join him at Wimbledon
'It's massive — dating Andrew Ridgeley from Wham! — wow,' says Amanda.
'I'm quite proud of it. He's a good person and it was just great, a lot of fun, and will make a fabulous chapter in my memoir.'
Amanda, who lives in a £12million Belgravia mansion claims to have a jewellery collection worth £10million and a £200,000 chauffeur-driven Bentley, now runs a luxury beauty company called Amanda Caroline which sells the 'Haute Luxe' skincare package for £380 and Haute Lift serum for £150.
The company's latest accounts show debts of £290,000 with less than £3,000 worth of assets held in the company. Most of the debt is in the form of a director's loan from Amanda herself.
Amanda has also revealed catching Covid early in 2020 helped her to stop taking Xanax and sleeping pills that she had been taking since the breakdown of her marriage.
'As I started to recover, I realised that I hadn't taken any medication for six weeks and thought, 'Oh, I'll keep going,' ' she says. 'So I dug out all the pills and threw them away.'
And Amanda isn't the only cast member with a famous-ex, Chicago-born influencer and mum-of-two Juliet Angus previously appeared in another reality show named 'Ladies of London'.
The programme aired on Bravo for three seasons after beginning in 2014 and followed the lives of a group of women, fashionistas, and socialites.
Juliet has two kids, Georgina and Truman, with Canadian husband Gregor Angus who co-founded True Royalty TV.
In 1997 she dated actor and comedian Bob Saget.
Following the How I Met Your Mother star's death in 2022, aged just 65, Juliet paid an emotional tribute to him, saying: 'You can get lucky to have good people come into your life to help shape who you become.
'To make you better, for your next chapter, a better friend, wife, mother. Bob did that. May angels be near you old friend and may they be laughing,' Juliet added. 'My thoughts to his wife, children, friends, family and their broken hearts.'
Juliet closed out her salute to the comedian with a punchline: 'RIP Bob, thank you for never being an a**hole to me in my 20's.'
The American stylist regularly posts snippets of her wealthy lifestyle, including recent trips to multiple five-star wellness hotels.
Juliet also has a slew of snaps showcasing her designer handbag collection, such as a customised Bvlgari bag.
But last year the 49-year-old was the victim of a burglary in which her huge collection of handbags, worth tens of thousands of pounds, was stolen.
'Twenty-five years of collecting stolen by horrible humans, low-life criminals,' she raged.
'Rebuilding my Hermes handbag collection,' she says.
'[I] have to start all over. These bags are expensive, and a lot of work goes into being able to afford just one.' Hermes bags can cost anything from £900 for a new one to £90,000 for a rare vintage piece.
Also in the new lineup is Panthea Parker, 50.
The mum-of-four - who is married to top London lawyer Ed Parker - has already proven her high society status by meeting the King.
At a recent Buckingham Palace garden party Pathena documented the encounter for her 380 Instagram followers as she filmed herself in the garden as King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived to greet their guests.
'The King is coming, guys,' she said. 'The King is coming now.'
She then proceeded to shout 'God bless the King' and 'God bless Camilla' as the monarchs walked past.
She added: 'There you go! That's kind of a selfie with the King, isn't it?'
Panthea refers to herself as a 'housewife' on Instagram and regularly flaunts her jet-setting, luxury lifestyle on the site.
She's even hung out with mega star Jennifer Lopez after the On The Floor singer was booked to be the guest at the wedding of one of her pals.
Pathena went on to reveal that she had told fellow garden party guests about her upcoming role in Real Housewives Of London.
'I've been chatting to my friends over here about, you know, that people will be wanting my autograph soon, right?!' she said.
'I've just shared with them my secret. Ed is dying! He's at the back there, going, 'I'm dying!''
They are joined by Real Housewives veteran Karen Loderick-Peace.
The fashion designer and mum-of-three, 49, was previously on Real Housewives of Jersey and Real Housewives of Cheshire. She is married to Jeremy Peace the former owner of West Bromwich Albion Football Club and could often be seen by his side at The Hawthorns.
The couple, who met in London, moved from their Knightsbridge home to St Brelade, Jersey, a decade ago.
Rounding out the lineup is Nessie Welschinger, who is also not a stranger to the world of TV appearances.
Nessie previously showcased her culinary skills in Great British Bake Off: The Professionals after her work saw her make 'cakes and goodies for royalty and celebs all around the world'.
The mother-of-three is also a successful business mogul and is the founder of the Chelsea Cake Company and Cooking with Kids & Co.
The star splits her time between London and the Cotswolds and is often seen on social media enjoying a very lavish lifestyle including trips to Formula One's Saudi Grand Prix and Wimbledon.

Two major games to stop working on some PlayStation and Xbox consoles – it'll cost fans a fortune to keep playing

TWO popular games are winding down this month as they lose compatibility with older consoles. To keep playing, fans will have to upgrade to the newer PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S - costing as much as £499. 2 2 Black Desert Online and The First Descendant are the latest titles to ditch support for the aging PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. After nearly a decade of service, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the Black Desert Online will be shutting down on 26 June. The creators at developer Pearl Abyss said they were shifting focus to the existing PC version of the game and the all-new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. In-game purchases for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players are set to be restricted. Gamers will be able to keep playing - and pick up from where they left off - only if they upgrade to a new console. When Black Desert Online is eventually made available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S after maintenance, players on the respective PS and Xbox platforms may continue with all their saved data, its creators said. All game data, including purchased items and in-game currency will be stored and accessible on those platforms. The First Descendant is also ending support for last-generation consoles, less than a year after it first launched. The title is set to be discontinued on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from 19 June, just two weeks before the game's first anniversary. The creators at Nexon Games pinned the decision on the "increased scale" of the game. The developer added that the team was spending "a lot of effort and difficulty maintaining the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One builds," prior to the shutdown. The First Descendant has been on a downward trajectory for the last few months as its player count dwindles, according to The Gamer. There are a number of reasons why games lose support for older consoles, such as development costs and hardware limitations. Older hardware can't keep up with modern game features, making it harder to deliver new content smoothly on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
