STAMFORD, Conn. – March 19, 2025 – Paris Olympic 110m hurdles gold medalist Grant Holloway headlines NBC Sports' presentation of the 2025 World Indoor Championships from Nanjing Sports Training Centre in Nanjing, China, this week across NBC, Peacock, and CNBC.
Peacock will exclusively stream all events live beginning tomorrow, Thursday, March 20, at 10:05 p.m. ET (which, due to the 12-hour time difference, will be the morning of March 21 in Nanjing). Both NBC and CNBC will present encore coverage throughout the weekend, with NBC's window being Sunday, March 23, at Noon ET.
Team USA is expected to be led by Paris Olympic 110m hurdles gold medalist Grant Holloway, who's aiming for his third consecutive world indoor 60m hurdles title and has not lost an indoor hurdles race since 2014 – his sophomore year of high school. Additionally, two-time Olympic pole vault medalist Sam Kendricks, two-time reigning world outdoor shot put champion and U.S. record holder Chase Jackson, two-time reigning U.S. indoor 400m champion Alexis Holmes, 1500m Tokyo Olympian Heather MacLean, and U.S. indoor 800m record holder Josh Hoey are all expected to compete.
A strong international contingent is expected to toe the line this week, including two-time Olympic gold medalist Jakob Ingebrigtsen (Norway), aiming to pull off the 1500/3000m double gold, two-time reigning Olympic pole vault gold medalist and world record holder Mondo Duplantis (Sweden), Paris Olympic 1500m silver medalist Jessica Hull (Australia), and Tokyo Olympic 5,000m bronze medalist Gudaf Tsegay (Ethiopia), who also earned 3000m silver at the 2024 World Indoor Championships.
NBC Sports' Paul Swangard will call the action with four-time Olympic medalist Ato Boldon and 2012 London Olympic decathlon silver medalist Trey Hardee.

Telemundo has kicked off its one-year countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026, announcing its extensive coverage plans for the tournament. The network is gearing up for the event, which will be held across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11-July 19, 2026, by unveiling its coverage plans, a new marketing campaign, and the first-ever Día Nacional del Fútbol (National Day of Fútbol) in the U.S., to be observed yearly on June 11, honoring the sport and its connection to Latino culture. 'For us at Telemundo, today is about more than a countdown to FIFA World Cup 2026 - we're not just covering the tournament, we're preparing to host history, and the road we're paving to 2026 will prove it,' says Telemundo's EVP of Sports, Joaquín Duro. How do they plan to do that? Telemundo says it will broadcast all 104 matches live, with 92 on Telemundo and 12 on Universo. Every match will also stream live on Peacock and the Telemundo App. The network will also have an on-site presence at all 104 matches, with coverage originating from studios in Mexico City, Miami, and New York, as well as broadcast locations across all 16 host cities. "For the first time in more than 30 years, the World Cup will return to the United States, and as the exclusive Spanish-language media partner, we are not just hosting this tournament, we are hosting history," says Luis Fernández, Chairman of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. "We have an incredible year ahead, and it will be a privilege to bring this unprecedented event to millions of passionate fans across the country.' The U.S. previously hosted the World Cup in 1994. At that time, Univision held the U.S. Spanish-language broadcast rights. Telemundo acquired those rights in 2011 and has retained them since, scoring great ratings returns. Telemundo has also secured Spanish-language rights to Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers, further expanding its soccer programming and its Rumbo al Mundial franchise. This builds upon the network's existing portfolio, which includes exclusive rights to Argentina and Brazil's home 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and Team USA. Coverage of the Concacaf qualifiers will air in September, October and November 2025, with the live presentation of the FIFA World Cup 26 Draw in December 2025. Evenepoel wins Dauphine stage four time trial to take lead
Belgium's Remco Evenepoel has taken the overall lead of the Criterium du Dauphine after victory in the time trial on stage 4. The reigning Olympic and world time trial champion beat nearest rival Jonas Vingegaard of Visma-Lease a Bike by 21 seconds on the 17.4km course. Advertisement Soudal-Quick Step's Evenepoel, considered to be the world's third best rider, will be competing against rivals Tadej Pogacar and Denmark's Vingegaard at the Tour de France next month. Reigning Tour champion Pogacar of UAE Team Emirates-XRG was a surprising 49 seconds down on the day to Evenepoel in a discipline in which the Slovenian is often peerless. Pogacar trails Evenepoel by 38 seconds in the general classification, with Vingegaard 16 seconds down in fifth place. Germany's Florian Lipowitz of Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe is second in the GC, four seconds down. "I'm very happy with this victory - the thousandth for the team," said Evenepoel after completing the course in his special Olympic gold helmet.
