I tried Popeyes' viral, ‘dill-icious' pickle menu and here's everything you need to know
Popeyes new, limited-time pickle menu is going viral on social media, and after taste testing it myself, I can honestly see the hype and appeal.
If you happen to be a pickle lover, much like I am, the new menu lineup is a surefire hit, and might I say 'dill-icious.'

With the pickle menu in front of me, the item that had to be tested first was unquestionably the fried pickles. The thin-sliced, fried pickle bites were just as I imagined them to be — crispy, dilly, with a hint of peppery spice to bring it all together.
Pair the fried pickles with the blackened ranch dip, and you've got yourself an appetizer for the ages. Fortunately, the fried pickles are here to stay, and are featured on Popeyes $4 items menu.

The pickle glaze sandwich was next on the must-try queue, and it exceed my expectations. The crispy, hand-battered chicken is coated in a zesty pickle flavoured glaze and topped with, you guessed it, thick-cut pickles, creating a seasoned, dilly aroma.
If you like Popeyes' classic chicken sandwich and happen to already ask for extra pickles during your visits, this sandwich is a match made in heaven.
The pickle glaze wings, available boneless and bone-in, were the showstoppers of the new menu. Both versions are tossed in a bold, tangy, mouth-watering pickle flavoured glaze, and come packed with a punch of heat and a dilly essence.
While they already come quite flavourful, pairing it with the bayou Buffalo dip it came with added an extra kick and zest, making for what was easily the most memorable bite of the day.

If pickles and dill are typically something you gravitate toward, then any of the pickle menu items will be a hit, but if you haven't dabbled in pickled food, it may be an acquired taste.
The pickle menu is available at participating restaurants across Canada for a limited time.

I Tried Popeyes's 3 New Chicken Wraps: Honest Review Ranking
Popeyes just added three new chicken wraps to their menu for a "limited time only." As a massive fast-food fan (and former worker), I decided to try them all and give you my honest opinion. Let's get started! This news came just days before McDonald's announced the return of their famous Snack Wraps, which will be released later in June. I genuinely can't wait to order from both restaurants and compare which ones are also unveiled a new Blueberry Lemonade drink, which can be served chilled or frozen, so you know I had to try that too. The wraps are stuffed with a chicken tender, lettuce, shredded cheese, and pickles. There are three different signature spreads to choose from: Classic, Spicy, or Honey Mustard. Each wrap is sold for $3.99, but they currently have a "bundle" deal going where you can order two wraps and a premium lemonade for $9.99 total. At some Popeyes you can also order your wrap with their Blackened Chicken (which basically just means the chicken tender is marinated in Cajun seasonings and isn't battered or breaded). This is only available via online ordering at some locations, so unfortunately I didn't have this option when I went in person in NYC. First up was their Honey Mustard Wrap, which was my least favorite of the bunch (but was still enjoyable!). Popeyes is obviously famous for its chicken, and that part didn't disappoint. It was crispy and crunchy and just really freaking good. But with only one chicken tender per wrap, the ratio felt off, and at times other items severely overshadowed the chicken. I also had a few bites with zero chicken in it. But if you're a big fan of honey mustard then you'll probably enjoy this wrap because it adds a tangy sweetness to it. However, in my opinion, Popeyes has other spreads that better pair with these specific wrap ingredients. I ordered each wrap with the same exact ingredients because I wanted to give them all a fair comparison. If you're a pickle lover like me then you'll probably be a little disappointed because I only received two pickle slices on each wrap. But if you love cheese then you'll be happy because, damn, they really loaded those suckers up (to the point where I literally had to scrape off about half of the shredded cheese because it was SO overpowering and pretty much the only ingredient I could taste). I'm glad these wraps came with lettuce though – that really helped to balance things out, and it also added an extra crunch that was different from the chicken. They accidentally gave me an extra wrap, so I decided to open that up and take a photo so you can see exactly what it looks like on the inside. Each wrap had a ton of sauce at its base, but the top half was kind of dry. I wish it was spread more evenly. Next up was the Spicy Wrap, which was my second favorite of the three. I'm a huge fan of spice, but if you're expecting any actual heat then you should probably look elsewhere because this sauce was tame (it was basically just mayo with a little hot sauce and a few spices mixed in). I do think I would have liked this wrap even more with their Blackened Chicken, but I also think Popeyes is doing themselves a disservice by not coating their tenders in the same sauces they use for their wings (like their Signature Hot Wings, Sweet 'N Spicy Wings, and Ghost Pepper Wings). Still, though, this wrap was great, and I'd order it again. Finally, we have their Classic Wrap, which was easily my favorite. The mayo spread paired so well with the crispy chicken, and when I actually got a bite with pickles it was perfect. I do think this particular wrap would have been even better without any shredded cheese. Also, I should note that Popeyes's wraps are made with tortillas that are "inspired by" their famous biscuits, but, if I'm being honest, they just tasted like regular tortillas to me. Still, this was easily the best wrap of the bunch. Popeyes also released a new Blueberry Lemonade, which you can get as a frozen drink (kinda like a slushie) or just as a chilled one with ice. I opted for the frozen version but also ordered a regular Strawberry Lemonade (which they started serving back in 2021) so I could compare the two and see how the new drink holds up. It was HOT outside, so the first few sips of each drink absolutely hit the spot. The blueberry one was sweet and tart but extremely sugary (as was expected, obviously). It somehow tasted even more sugary as it melted and turned from a slushie into a pure liquid, and I couldn't finish more than half of it without feeling gross. The Strawberry Lemonade, though, was incredible (and dangerous! Like, I could drink these all day). This one was still sweet but not as sugary. It was perfectly refreshing. If you want to try something new and can only pick one Blueberry Lemonade then I'd order the chilled version over the frozen one. However, if you're stuck between which flavor to order then my vote absolutely goes to the Strawberry Lemonade. I wish I had one in my hand right now. So, do I think all of these new menu items are worth it? Well, that depends! First of all, my mind is perpetually stuck in 1996 where the price for almost every fast-food item was, like, $1. So, to me, $3.99 for a single wrap is kind of wild (but this is the same exact price that McDonald's will be selling their Snack Wraps for later this month, so I guess it's the new standard for 2025). If you're looking for something quick that you can eat on the go then I definitely think the Classic Wrap is worth it. I'd personally order their bundle deal with two Classic Wraps and a chilled Strawberry Lemonade for under $10, and I'd also get them without shredded cheese. I think a real game-changer would be to order these Chicken Wraps without a spread so you can top them with Popeyes's Blackened Ranch or Bayou Buffalo sauces instead. If you ask me, those are the new flavors Popeyes should try experimenting with when they (hopefully) re-release their Chicken Wraps. If they do that, I'll be first in line. It's a wrap: McDonald's, Popeye's kick off latest fast food battle Show Caption Hide Caption Rotisserie chicken tips, tricks and recipes Turn one rotisserie chicken into multiple easy, delicious meals. If 2019 was the year of the fast food chicken sandwich battle, 2025 appears to be the year of the fast food chicken wrap battle. McDonald's U.S. president Joe Erlinger confirmed on "Good Morning America" in December 2024 that the fan-favorite Snack Wrap would be making a comeback sometime in 2025. In April 2025, the chain's social media accounts shared another clue to the wrap's official return date. Finally, McDonald's confirmed to USA TODAY on June 3 that the Snack Wrap will officially be coming back to restaurants permanently beginning Thursday, July 10. The company said the Snack Wraps will feature one of McDonald's new McCrispy Strips – a juicy chicken strip made with all white meat – topped with crisp shredded lettuce and shredded cheese, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. Popeyes, meanwhile, announced on June 2 it is introducing Chicken Wraps to its menu for a limited time, giving customers the "craveable flavor of Popeyes, now wrapped and ready to go wherever you do," according to a news release. The wraps feature Popeyes hand-breaded and battered chicken tenders with crispy lettuce, shredded cheese and crunchy pickles, all in a warm tortilla that's inspired by the flavor of Popeyes biscuits, according to the company. The new item will cost $3.99 and will be available with your choice of a Classic, Spicy, or Honey Mustard spread. Chicken wraps send social media into a tizzy Popeyes appeared to instigate the latest fast food chicken battle on May 30 when it took a jab at McDonald's X post from April 15 hinting at a possible return date for the Snack Wrap. McDonald's post from April 15 read: "snack wraps 0x.14.2025," hinting that the menu item would return on the 14th day of an unidentified month in 2025. "Chicken wraps 0x.02.2025," Popeyes said on May 30. On June 3, McDonald's posted "snack wrap 07.10.2025" on X, followed by a long post giving a behind-the-scenes look at how the company made the decision to bring the Snack Wrap back. Popeyes responded to that post on the same day with another jab at McDonald's. Popeyes also took to another social media platform, Instagram, to poke fun at McDonald's. Popeyes was among the first to comment on McDonald's post announcing the Snack Wraps, saying "glad we could make that happen," with a smirking emoji. In addition to the brands going at each other on social media, customers are also expressing excitement about both menu items. Gabe Hauari is a national trending news reporter at USA TODAY. People are obsessed with the McDonald's Snack Wrap. These files prove it
After nine long years, McDonald's has finally announced the revival of the Snack Wrap, one of its most beloved—and most copied—discontinued menu items. To herald the wrap's return, the brand made an entire digital archive dedicated to documenting fans' fervor for the Snack Wrap. The wrap returns after a number of other fast food chains, including Burger King, Wendy's, Chic-fil-A, and, most recently, Popeyes, have made their own dupes of the item in its absence. McDonald's' attempt to reclaim its Snack Wrap dominance comes as the company continues to face difficult financial headwinds; reporting its second consecutive quarter of sales declines in its first-quarter financial report on May 1. Now, the company is betting on fans' Snack Wrap nostalgia to score a boost this summer. On McDonald's' official website, a cryptic official statement from Joe Erlinger, McDonald's USA president, simply reads, 'It's back.' Accompanying the statement, though, is the link to a website called the Snack Wrap Files that's a wealth of Snack Wrap-based information. Per the site, the Snack Wrap will be made with McDonald's' McCrispy Strips in two flavors: ranch or spicy. It will be available as a combo meal and, at last, it has secured a spot as a permanent menu item. The Snack Wrap Files also serves another purpose: The site, which has a simple, early web vibe, is an archive dedicated to all of the times that McDonald's fans have yearned for the Snack Wrap since 2016. It's back. According to its FAQ section, the Snack Wrap Files was created 'to highlight the bond fans have with the Snack Wrap.' 'The Snack Wrap was phased out nationally in 2016, but it never left fans' hearts,' the website reads. 'From countless social media posts to full-fledged petitions, they never gave up on their favorite menu item. They're the ones who inspired us to make its return to the menu happen.' And McDonald's is dedicated to spinning that return into a dramatic, full-blown campaign. Currently, there are 10 folders on the Snack Wrap Files site, three of which are unlocked for public viewing. A countdown at the top of the page marks the time remaining before the other seven files are unlocked. In the 'Media Materials' folder, users can find official photos of the new Snack Wrap and FAQs about its return. Under 'BTS,' they can take a peek behind the curtain at McDonald's' creative team poring over Snack Wrap ad materials. But 'The Fandom' folder is where the site really shines. Within this section, the McDonald's team has compiled a highlight reel of fans' most fervent pleas for the Snack Wrap's return. Some are on the tamer side, like an email that reads, 'Is it true you're bringing back the Snack Wrap??!! I will be so excited!!!!!!' and another sharing, 'In fact I am 13 weeks pregnant and my biggest craving is something I can't have. I am due July 14th, 2025. Will snack wraps be back before then? Please just give me a hint.' Others take a more desperate tone. 'Where is the snack wrap. You guys promised me 2025, it is 2025. I do not see the snack wrap. Please get back to me, this is an important matter,' reads one inquiry. 'When the snack wraps are dropped I'm going to do a challenge where I try and eat 1,000 in a calendar year,' another says. 'If I record myself and post it on tik tok or something will you give me a reward?' One emailer resorted to a direct threat: 'I hope you're not playing with our emotions because I swear to god the people of the US will riot if you pull the rug from underneath us!' Whew. In three days, 23 hours, and 40 minutes (at the time of this writing), the Snack Wrap Files' cryptic 'Reaction Clips,' 'Merch Concepts,' 'Internal Emails,' 'Promo Codes,' 'Playlist,' 'Voice Note,' and 'Credits' folders will be unlocked.
