South Lakes police execute drugs warrant at an address in Kendal

South Lakes police executed a drugs warrant in Kendal yesterday (March 21).
Both the Neighbourhood Policing Team and Tactical Support Group conducted pro-active drugs work in the town.
This included executing a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address which resulted in the recovery of a quantity of controlled drugs.

Speaking on its Facebook page, a spokesperson for South Lakes police said: "Do not tolerate drug dealing in your community. If you have information that will assist us in taking drugs and drug dealers out of our communities please let us know.

MORRISANIA, the Bronx (PIX11) – A 17-year-old boy was shot just a half mile away from where a man was grazed by a bullet in separate incidents in the Bronx on Thursday, according to the NYPD. Police said the teenager was struck by a bullet in the right hip at the NYCHA Forest Houses around 10 p.m. Two suspects, one wearing all black and one wearing all gray, fled the shooting on Citi Bikes going west on Trinity Avenue, according to authorities. More Local News Police said just two minutes later, a man was grazed in the left arm by a bullet near East 161st Street and St. Anne's Avenue. Two suspects are also wanted in that shooting, according to authorities. Police said one was wearing a white shirt and gray shorts while the other wore a gray t-shirt and dark pants. They fled the shooting going north on St. Anne's Avenue, possibly on Citi Bikes, according to authorities. Police have arrested two men after a digger was stolen from a building site. The theft was reported last Sunday, June 1, when the vehicle was found to be missing from the building site on Lower Bridgeman Street in Bolton. Officers said that they they believe a white flatbed truck was used to take the yellow 1.6 JCB Excavator Digger away. They said that two men have been arrested on suspicion of theft, but have since been bailed while police investigate the incident further. Police are now appealing to the public for information about the incident. They have asked for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious on Lower Bridgeman Street at around 12.30pm to get in touch with them. Officers have asked anyone with any information, CCTV or dash-cam footage to call 101, quoting log 499 of 02/06/2025. You can also remain anonymous by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
