East Lothian food trailer crew set to open new restaurant near local high street
A new East Lothian chicken restaurant is set to open after years of support from locals.
Making the exciting announcement on social media, Follow The Chicken, will soon be welcoming customers to their new restaurant at West Port, Dunbar.
The popular food trailer team will be offering a similar menu loved by locals along with a few surprises and desserts too at the new venue.

With an opening date set to be confirmed, the team thanked their customers for all the support and said they are "excited" for the venture.
A message online reads: "Big news!!! We can happily share that all our applications were successful and we got all the licences needed for the new restaurant at West Port.
"Soon we will share our grand opening date with you, and all the surprises that it will bring! Thank you for all the support you gave us so far, we couldn't do it without you, excited to share this new place with Dunbar."

Many people were quick to share their congratulations to the team. One customer said: "Great news for Dunbar looking forward to it opening."
Another person said: "So happy for you guys. It's so well deserved."
A third added: "I can't wait for it to open. I'm so happy for you guys."
The food trailer opened back in 2023 offering an "unforgettable dining experience".
They said: "We have the skills and the art of preparing succulent chicken, marinated in a secret blend of spices and grilled to perfection. Each bite is a symphony of smoky, tangy, and spicy flavours that will leave you craving for more.
