Iranian lawmakers have escalated tensions with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) by voting to suspend cooperation and barring IAEA chief Rafael Grossi from visiting bombed nuclear sites, following accusations that Grossi "betrayed" Iran by not condemning Israeli and US strikes on its nuclear facilities. Argentina, Grossi's home country, and the United States have condemned what they describe as threats against Grossi. Watch for more

Palestinians chant ‘love you Trump' as US-backed GHF humanitarian aid distributed in Gaza
Palestinians have expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump after US-backed humanitarian aid was distributed in Gaza. A video, shared by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Sunday, showed Palestinians chanting slogans like "I love you Trump" and "I love you Donald" as aid from US and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation reached Gaza. Leavitt also shared a post by Trump saying, 'MAKE THE DEAL IN GAZA. GET THE HOSTAGES BACK!!!' Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "many opportunities have opened up" following Israel's air strikes on Iran, including the possibility of bringing back the remaining hostages held in Hamas captivity in Gaza. "As you probably know, many opportunities have opened up now following this victory. Firstly, to rescue the hostages. Of course, we will also need to solve the Gaza issue, defeat Hamas, but I believe we will accomplish both missions," Netanyahu said on Sunday, according to CNN. Reacting to Netanyahu's comments, the Hostages Families Forum Headquarters called for a single comprehensive deal to bring back all 50 hostages and end the fighting in Gaza, reported CNN. "What is needed is release, not rescue. This difference of one word could mean the difference between salvation and loss for the hostages," the forum said in a statement. Israeli forces killed at least 22 people and wounded 20 others, many while attempting to get desperately needed food aid in southern Gaza on Monday, according to witnesses, hospitals, and Gaza's Health Ministry. Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis said it received the bodies of 11 people who were shot while returning from an aid site associated with the Israeli and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Fund in southern Gaza, part of a deadly pattern that has killed more than 500 Palestinians in the chaotic and controversial aid distribution programme over the past month. Ten others were killed at a United Nations aid warehouse in northern Gaza, according to the Health Ministry. The southern Gaza strike happened around 3 kilometres from the GHF site in the city of Khan Younis, as Palestinians returned from the site along one of the only accessible routes. Palestinians are often forced to travel long distances to access the GHF hubs in hopes of obtaining aid.

Iron Dome's successor, lasers: Bad news for Iran as Israel plans secret weapons against Khamenei's regime
Iran-Israel war- File image Iran-Israel war: In a massive development, Israel is developing advanced new weapons, including the Iron Beam laser defense system. As part of the counter threats from Iran and its allies, Israel is reportedly pouring billions to replenish its arsenal and making new secret weapons. Following recent conflicts, Israel's defense industry is working at full capacity to replenish stockpiles and introduce cost-effective, high-tech systems aimed at maintaining its military edge and deterring future attacks. 'Stand-off missiles developed by Israel's defense industries allowed its aircraft to precisely strike key parts of Iran's air defense system from afar. Missiles like the Rampage and the ROCKS were launched at their targets long before Israeli jets even entered Iranian airspace. Simultaneously, Mossad units operated drones deep inside Tehran, targeting top Revolutionary Guard commanders and senior figures in Iran's nuclear program,' the report added. Is Israel building Iron Dome's successor? Reports also claimed that reports claimed that Israel is working on Iron Dome's successor. 'Iron Beam is a 100-kilowatt-class High-Energy Laser Weapon System that will detonate the propellant or high explosive warhead on a rocket. In theory, it will have an unlimited number of shots, rather than 20 missiles per battery like Iron Dome. It will also be far more cost-efficient as the only limiting factor is its reliability and access to electricity, which costs approximately 14 cents per kilowatt hour in Israel,' as per a report of the Popular Mechanics. Iran calls on UN to recognise US, Israel as initiators of 'aggression' Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi called on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to recognise Israel and the United States as the initiators of the 'aggression' against Iran. In a letter addressed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and UNSC President Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett, Araghchi on Sunday, urged the Council to fulfill its responsibility in maintaining international peace and security, according to the official IRNA news agency. He accused Israel of deliberately targeting residential buildings, civilians, and civilian infrastructure, describing the attacks as a 'flagrant breach' of the UN Charter and a 'blatant violation' of international law. Video: Palestinians Chant "I Love You Trump" As US-Backed Aid Enters Gaza
Washington: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Sunday shared a video of Palestinians expressing gratitude to US President Donald Trump as Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) relief kits were distributed. The people in the video were seen chanting slogans like "I love you Trump" and "I love you Donald." She also shared a post by Trump saying, "MAKE THE DEAL IN GAZA. GET THE HOSTAGES BACK!!!" — Karoline Leavitt (@PressSec) June 30, 2025 Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "many opportunities have opened up" following Israel's military operations in Iran, including the possibility of bringing home the remaining hostages held in Gaza. Speaking at a Shin Bet security agency facility in southern Israel on Sunday, Netanyahu said, "As you probably know, many opportunities have opened up now following this victory. Firstly, to rescue the hostages. Of course, we will also need to solve the Gaza issue, defeat Hamas, but I believe we will accomplish both missions," as per CNN. Netanyahu's comments mark one of the first times he has clearly prioritised the return of the hostages over the defeat of Hamas. For months, Netanyahu has prioritised the defeat of Hamas in Gaza and spokeabout a "total victory." At the beginning of May, he called defeating Hamas the "supreme objective," not freeing the hostages, CNN reported. His comments Sunday mark a potentially significant change in how he has talked about Israel's goals in the war. He has repeatedly faced criticism from the families of hostages, opposition politicians and large segments of the Israeli public for not clearly placing the return of the hostages as Israel's primary goal. Reacting to his comments Sunday, the Hostages Families Forum Headquarters called for a single comprehensive deal to bring back all 50 hostages and end the fighting in Gaza, as per CNN. "What is needed is release, not rescue. This difference of one word could mean the difference between salvation and loss for the hostages," the forum said in a statement.
