Francisco Lindor, who previously made four All-Star appearances with Cleveland, has never been voted in as a Met.
This year, he's hitting the ball with more consistency, showing better plate discipline, and remains one of the league's top shortstops on defense.
As of early June, Francisco Lindor has 11 home runs, 39 RBIs, and a batting average around .260. He has also been praised for his defense, turning double plays and making key stops up the middle. Many believe this may be his best chance to represent the Mets at the Midsummer Classic.
