
Young Irishman who died in Portugal tragedy to be laid to rest this week as ‘heartbroken' family pay emotional tribute
A YOUNG Irish man who passed away in Portugal is to be laid to rest this week after his family confirmed his funeral details.
Dylan McCahey, aged in his 20s, sadly passed away last weekend while on holiday in Portugal.

The young biomedical science graduate is a native of Magheracloone, Sherlock, Co
.
Now, his heartbroken
Confirming Dylan's passing they said: "It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Dylan McCahey. Tonaneave, Magheracloone Co. Monaghan.
"Tragically, whilst on holiday in Portugal."

Dylan will be "sadly missed and forever remembered with love" by his heartbroken family, including his parents PJ and Geraldine, his brother Alan and his sister Caitlin.
He will also be missed by his grannies Bridget McCahey and Teresa McPhillips, his uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours and a "wide circle of friends".
He is predeceased by his infant sister Nicole and his granddads James McCahey and Michael McPhillips.
He will repose at his home Thursday, May 29 from 3pm until 8pm and also on Friday, May 30 from 3pm until 8pm.

Dylan's funeral cortège will leave the home on Saturday, May 31, heading to St Peter & St Paul's Church in Lower Magheracloone.
It will arrive for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Tributes have poured in across
Heartbroken friends described him as 'one of life's true gentlemen' with a wonderful personality who will be greatly missed.

One friend wrote: "Dylan always made me laugh and always had a smile on his face.'
Another mourner described him as a "fine young man who was always friendly and helpful".
A third said: "He always was a pleasant young man who was always smiling".
One person added: "A lovely young man always friendly, helpful and with a smile on his face. May he rest in eternal peace."

The Department of Foreign Affairs previously confirmed they are aware of his death.
Consular assistance has been provided to the family.
