Here's How You Can Attend the Premiere of Brad Pitt's ‘F1' Movie
Formula 1 fans only have to wait another month before Brad Pitt's F1 film hits theaters. And while anyone can kick back with a tub of popcorn and an extra-large soda, some die-hard fans will get the chance to be fully immersed in the world of the movie.
Via its Moments platform, Marriott Bonvoy is offering a ticket package that gives two people access to the F1 premiere in New York City on June 16. For those who want to live out the film in real life, the deal also includes VIP race-day access to both the Singapore Grand Prix in October and the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November. With the package available to Marriott Bonvoy members until June 2, bidding is already up to more than 1.3 million points.

The F1 flick is one of the most hotly anticipated movies on the screening calendar this year. Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) has taken the helm as director, and the whole crew collaborated with all 10 F1 teams to create an accurate portrayal of the sport. Lewis Hamilton even serves as a producer, and filming took place at the 2023 British Grand Prix, as well as during the 2024 Las Vegas GP and the Mexico City GP.
The winner of Marriott's offering will get to pull up to the movie premiere in style, and they and their guest will have access to the red carpet, a meet and greet with the stars, and the VIP after party. As a longstanding partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, Marriott is also giving the winner a chance to meet team members at the Singapore and Las Vegas races later in the year. Verstappen, who had just lost third place to Charles Leclerc after a safety car restart, was told by his race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase to give fourth place to arch-rival Russell, after the pair briefly touched at turn 1. Advertisement The Red Bull driver initially moved over to allow Russell through before swerving aggressively into the Mercedes car. Verstappen was given a 10-second time penalty by the stewards straight after race, dropping him from fifth to tenth, though Nico Rosberg believed the Dutchman should have been disqualified. Yet one hour after the race concluded, Verstappen was given a further three penalty points on his FIA superlicence for the collision, bringing his total to 11 points. A race ban is triggered if a driver accrues 12 points over a 12-month period, as seen with Kevin Magnussen last year. It means Verstappen must avoid a penalty point at the next race in Canada (15 June) in order to avoid a ban for the Austrian Grand Prix (29 June). On 30 June, two of Verstappen's penalty points for a collision with Lando Norris last year in Austria will be wiped, bringing his total back down to nine.
