Brad Pitt's €4.6m home 'ransacked' by burglars
Brad Pitt's home was ransacked by burglars while on a promotional tour for the upcoming F1 movie.
Brad stars in the film as former Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, and has been promoting the film abroad ahead of its release in the US on Friday (June 27).
However, while travelling overseas to promote the film, a home on the 2300 block of North Edgemont Street, believed to be the A-lister's home, was broken into by burglars, according to the LAPD. Pic:LAPD spokesperson, Officer Drake Madison said that police were alerted to an alarm call, finding that the suspects broke in via a front window and rummaged through the home, fleeing with a number of unspecified items.
It is not known what was taken during the burglary, and no arrests have been made. An LAPD spokesperson confirmed that the break in occurred at 10.30pm on Wednesday (June 25), but couldn't confirm the identity of the homeowner.

This is the latest in a string of robberies of high profile celebs, with previous victims including Nicole Kidman, actor Austin Butler, and footballer Olivier Giroud.
The Chief of Police at the LAPD told NBC News that the reported number of burglaries in 2024 increased by 4% in 2024, but more than half of the homes that were targeted were those of high profile celebs such as Brad.
'These are happening very quickly,' Dominic Choi, Chief of Police with the LAPD, said. ' We're not seeing the entire house being ransacked. These individuals that are conducting these high-end burglaries know what they're looking for, and they're in and out in a few minutes.' Brad plays nomadic racer for hire and former F1 driver Sonny Hayes in the drama about Formula 1 driving, which also stars Irish actress Kerry Condon as well as F1 legends such as Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez.
He was most recently in London to promote the movie ahead of the world premiere, with the film getting its wider release today (June 27).
