Meet actor, who romanced Karisma Kapoor, Mamta Kulkarni, challenged Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, lost stardom due to..., is now...
Today, we will talk about this actor, who made his Bollywood debut at the mere age of 15, and became a star following its first release. Despite working in handful of hit films and garnering appreciation, he lost into oblivion. He is none other than the 90s chocolate boy, Harish Kumar, who made his debut opposite Karisma Kapoor in 1991 film Prem Qaidi . It was Lolo's debut as well. The film was a success, catapulting both Harish and Karisma to stardom.
Harish Kumar began his acting career at the tender age of 4. By the age of 15, he made his debut as a lead actor, garnering recognition not just in Bollywood but also in South cinema. He starred in several successful Bollywood films including Coolie No. 1 and Tirangaa .
Following the release of Inteqam in 2001, Harish chose to step away from the world of glitz and glam. According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, he faced a setback in his career due to sudden weight gain, leading to loss of work opportunities for him. However, the accurate information about his situation remains difficult to describe.
As per a report by Film Stories, a YouTube Channel, Harish was experiencing extreme backpain initially considered minor, but it unfortunately worsened over time. Gradually, his condition declined to the point that he was bedridden. When doctors figured out, it came as a spinal injury that Harsh had since childhood which he was unaware of and it exacerbated over time leading to slip disc. He was put on medications and advised a two-year break from work, during which his weight increased and altered his appearance significantly.
In 2001, Harish tried to make a comeback with film Naughty @40 , co-starring Govinda, but the film failed to revive his magic on-screen. The actor also starred in 2012-release Chaar Din Ki Chandni , which turned out to be a box office flop.

'Their Parents Have Failed': Samay Raina On Young Children Watching His Content
Last Updated: Comedian Samay Raina, after removing his YouTube show amid controversy, shares strong views on parenting and responsibility in a resurfaced podcast. After facing a wave of criticism over an episode from his YouTube show India's Got Latent, stand-up comic Samay Raina removed all episodes from the platform and promised full cooperation with authorities investigating the incident. Despite the intense backlash, Samay appears to have moved on. He recently announced a fresh lineup of international gigs, signaling a new chapter in his career. Now, a podcast from January has resurfaced, where Samay can be heard discussing the responsibilities of influencers and drawing a sharp line when it comes to what children consume online. The clip has gone viral for his strong opinions about parenting in the digital age. 'Do you think a person like me has a responsibility to not drink Coke and to not be myself? I drink Coke at home, do you think I should fake it in public places and promote drinking water instead?" he asked health content creator Revant Himatsingka, popularly known as Food Pharmer. When the podcaster replied, 'Yes, I think it will leave an impression on kids 8-10 years of age," Samay responded sharply, 'If someone as young as eight-ten years old is watching me, then their parents have failed." He added, 'When I was that age, my father would beat me if I watched television. I didn't watch television then. I never got influenced by all this and I really think he did a great job as a father. So the parents are the ones who need to be responsible and not me. I have to be myself. If I want to influence people to do something, it is just to be honest." Defending his raw, unfiltered style, the comedian continued, 'There are too many fake people in this world. Public gets depressed when they see someone so perfect, doing and saying all the right things, it attacks your confidence and you start to question yourself, 'Is there anything wrong with me?' Then comes a guy like me, just being myself, drinking Coke, saying wrong things. They be like, 'You know what? It's okay to be me, because this is who I relate to.'" Earlier this year, Samay found himself in hot water when an old episode of India's Got Latent resurfaced, featuring a disturbing question posed by podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia. 'Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?" he asked a contestant. The clip triggered massive outrage, leading to multiple FIRs filed against the panelists. First Published:

Gauahar Khan breaks down as she recalls suffering miscarriage, calls out Suniel Shetty's ‘comfort of C-section' comment
Actor Gauahar Khan rose to fame after winning Bigg Boss 7, earning praise for her bold attitude and strong personality. She has now launched her own YouTube podcast, MaaaNoranjan, where she discusses topics like motherhood, pregnancy, and more. In the first episode, Gauahar opened up about suffering a miscarriage before the birth of her son Zehaan and also criticised Suniel Shetty's recent remarks about the 'comfort of C-section'. (Also Read: After facing backlash, Suniel Shetty says his comment on Athiya choosing natural delivery was 'blown out of proportion') Gauahar shared that she had undergone a C-section for her first delivery. Fighting back tears, she revealed she had a miscarriage before Zehaan's birth. 'There's one thing I never told everyone. I did have a miscarriage before Zehaan. What should I tell you about that feeling? It's impossible to describe it. It was a pregnancy, I lost the baby after almost 9 weeks. That loss was extremely difficult. And I'll be able to talk about it more in upcoming episodes,' she said. The actor was visibly emotional and upset as she addressed Suniel's comment in which he praised his daughter Athiya for not opting for a C-section. Gauahar said, 'A what? I want to like scream at the top of my voice and say, How could you say that? Like how? There are so many myths around this topic — that if someone is having a C-section, it's the easier option. How can there be so much misinformation? and for a male celebrity to say that, who didn't go through pregnancy, didn't carry a child, doesn't know how painful C-section is.' In an interview with News18, Suniel said, 'In a world where everybody wants the comfort of having a caesarean baby, she chose not to do that and had a natural delivery. I remember how every nurse and paediatrician in the hospital said that it's unbelievable how she went through the whole process. That hit me as a father. I was like, 'Wow, she's ready!' Athiya was very, very strong to do that.' His comments drew criticism online, prompting the actor to later clarify that his words were blown out of proportion. Gauahar welcomed her first child, Zehaan, with husband Zaid Darbar in 2023. The couple is now expecting their second child and recently announced the news via a video on social media, captioned: 'Bismillah!! Need your prayers and love. Make the world dance by spreading love. #GazaBaby2.'
