Bukayo Saka left out of England's squad to face Andorra after knock
Bukayo Saka has been left out of England's squad for Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Andorra.
Thomas Tuchel's side continue the road to next summer's tournament at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona against the side ranked 173rd in the world.
A minor injury saw Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins leave the camp on the eve of the Group K clash, while Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher and Arsenal forward Saka will miss the Andorra game after being left out of the matchday squad submitted to UEFA.
Tuchel revealed Saka was suffering with a knock on Friday but thinks he can feature in Tuesday's friendly against Senegal.
'It's nice to see that he's back because he wanted to be back, and you straight away see when he comes in that he is comfortable to be with the squad, he knows what it takes to be a national player,' the England boss said.
'He came into camp with a little bit of discomfort from the last match against Southampton, so we took care of him and treated him individually until (Friday) basically.
'It was the first training session that he started and finished with the group. (Thursday), he started with the group but did not finish with the group, so let's see.
'I'm not sure if we take the risk for the game. The decision has not been taken, but he will be available for the Senegal match, and he plays a major role in our thoughts of how to build a competitive team.'

Roy Keane believes only one England player emerged with credit from the Three Lions' underwhelming 1-0 win over Andorra in Barcelona. England preserved their perfect start under Thomas Tuchel but there was little more to cheer about after a drab display against the side ranked 173rd in the world. Goalless at half-time, it was Harry Kane who found the game's winning goal, stabbing home Noni Madueke's low cross into the roof of the net to bring up his 450th senior career goal. But it was an otherwise tepid display from the visitors who struggled to break down Andorra's defence and create regular chances in the searing Spanish heat. With just under a year to go until the World Cup, Tuchel is still getting to grips with his England squad ahead of the tournament. But Keane believes that Madueke was the only player who improved his chances of getting on the plane to North America next summer off the back of Saturday's result. 'It was a very mature performance from him,' Keane told ITV post-match. 'We mentioned before the game that he sometimes just has moments but he was a lot better tonight. 'He was consistent, his movement was excellent – coming short and stretching in behind – and he was one of the players who had something to prove and he affected the game. 'He got an assist, he was a threat and that's what you like to see.' On an otherwise forgetful England display, the former Manchester United captain added: 'I thought when they scored the goal, they thought it was job done, and I was really disappointed with England's attitude after the goal went in. 'Particularly in the second half, I didn't think it was great. I felt some players looked like they got bored in the last half and hour and I don't want to see that. 'Your job every game is to impress the manager and I think only he (Madueke) did that tonight. Deep down, Tuchel will be looking at his staff and saying he was disappointed by more than one or two of those players.' Tuchel was equally frustrated by England's performance and insisted that his short time with the squad was no excuse for his side's lack of cutting edge. 'I felt us frustrated and a lack of attitude in the last stages of the game, which I didn't like at all,' he told BBC Radio 5 Live. 'I didn't want to create an atmosphere when we get frustrated easy. I don't know why we lost our momentum or speed. The last half an hour I did not like at all. Everything is a learning. We are smarter than before and we will talk about it honestly and directly and try to do it better. More Trending 'It surprised me because we started well. We created an xG of three and underperformed with one. It just shows we were not precise enough and had a lack of quality in finishing. 'It is our second camp, and we can do much better. That includes me. It always takes two to tango and we need to do better on Tuesday. There are no excuses. 'There was a lack of being aggressive in duels and then it becomes like what we saw and it did not have the quality we wish. There is a lot to do and from there we go.' England beat Andorra 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier in Barcelona, but their dismal performance prompted criticism from Roy Keane, who accused them of getting bored Roy Keane accused England of showing a bad attitude and of getting bored in their limp 1-0 win over Andorra. After a dreary first half, which saw England booed off, Harry Kane opened the scoring by tapping in Noni Madueke's cross. That ended up as the only goal, and moment of minor excitement, in the entire 93 minutes as Tuchel's players went through the motions against the minnows. It was an uninspiring performance from England, who didn't get going, and former Manchester United captain Keane was typically scathing in his post-match assessment. "We try to make excuses for England a little bit. Obviously it is the end of the season and it's been tough on the players," he said on ITV. "I thought, first half, was OK. But I felt when they scored the goal, they felt it was job done. The manager can't be happy with that effort in the last half an hour. I know it's job done, but you still expect more from England. "Good goal from Kane - you can always rely on him - a really good ball from [Curtis] Jones - that bit of quality - but overall, and particularly in the second half, the attitude of the players, I didn't think was great." He added: "I worry when I see players getting bored. I felt some of the players got bored in the last half an hour and I don't like to see that. It's when the goal went in, it was job done. It's Andorra - go and get some more goals! "These players have to impress this manager, he's still new to the job. You show that with your attitude. Go and get some more goals! You're attacking players, you can't keep looking at Kane. Kane's been your main man for years, but the other attacking players have to say 'I have to have an impact here'." Tuchel agreed with Keane's take, giving an honest assessment of the performance to ITV. "I was most worried in the last 20 minutes because I did not like the attitude that we ended the game with," he said. "I didn't like the lack of urgency and it did not match the occasion. It is still a World Cup qualifier. We will let them know tomorrow what we want from them." Former England international Karen Carney said: "It started slow, and how you start the game, usually it's hard to bring up those levels and gears. And it did feel a bit like holiday mode. I said at the start make sure the tempo is high and it's not walking football. "I know it's hot, but the ball can still move fast. We didn't really see that today. I think Madueke was the only one who changed gear and saw a little bit of pace and energy." Former England goalkeeper Rob Green said on BBC Radio 5 Live: "It was sufficient. It had the feeling of a pre-season friendly. Everything lent itself to an England team sleepwalking through the game."
