Triveni Turbine shares jumps over 10% as Q4 EBITDA rises 34.25% YoY to Rs 120.4 crore

Triveni Turbine Ltd saw its shares jump over 10% in morning trade on May 12, 2025, following the release of its robust Q4 FY25 earnings. As of 9:31 AM, the shares were trading 10.38% higher at Rs 568.95.
The company reported a 23.6% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit, reaching ₹93.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, compared to ₹76 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations grew 17.5% YoY to ₹538 crore, up from ₹458 crore in Q4 FY24, driven by strong demand and operational efficiency. The company's performance at the operating level was also notable, with EBITDA rising 34.25% YoY to ₹120.4 crore from ₹89.7 crore.
The EBITDA margin improved significantly to 22.4%, compared to 19.6% in the year-ago quarter. The margin expansion reflects better cost control and higher capacity utilisation.

HBL Engineering secures Rs 132.95 crore kavach contract from South Central Railway

The contract, valued at ₹132.95 crore including 18% GST, involves the deployment of Kavach across 48 stations, 10 locomotives, and a total track length of 446 kilometers. The project is expected to be completed within a period of 18 months from the date of commencement. Ahmedabad Air India crash: 8 of 34 dreamliners in India inspected so far, Says govt

Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu confirmed that eight out of the 34 Dreamliners in the country have already undergone inspection as part of the ongoing safety review. Speaking during the government's first official press briefing on the crash, the minister stated, 'We have directed comprehensive checks on all Boeing 787 aircraft in India. So far, eight aircraft have been inspected. The process is being expedited across all operators.' The Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed at approximately 1:40 PM on Friday, just one minute after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport. According to Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha, the aircraft had completed two successful legs — Paris to Delhi and Delhi to Ahmedabad — and had no prior technical issues reported. Initial reports suggest the aircraft collided with a residential building housing medical professionals, leading to 241 fatalities out of 242 passengers and crew. One survivor has been confirmed and is currently in critical condition under intensive medical care.
