JoSAA Counselling 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the second mock seat allocation list today, June 11. Candidates can check the selection list on the official website at josaa.nic.in using their JEE Main 2025 application number and password.
The allotment will be based on the candidates' choices submitted on June 10, 2025. The provisional or mock allotment list allows candidates to check and decide whether they want to change their choices or go ahead with their selected preferences.
JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment List 1 2025: How To Check?
Step 1: Visit the JoSAA's official website at josaa.nic.in.
Step 2: Look for and click on the 'JoSAA Seat Allotment 1' result link.
Step 3: As a new window opens, enter your password and JEE Main roll number. Then click on the 'Submit".
Step 4: The provisional JoSAA seat allotment letter will appear on the screen.
JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2025: What's Next?
The final results for Round 1 seat allotment will be announced on June 14. Online reporting, which includes fee payment, document submission, and addressing candidate queries, will commence on June 14 and conclude on June 18, 2025. JoSAA provides a single online platform for admission to 121 institutes, which include 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, IIEST Shibpur and 40 other GFTIs. The total number of seats in 2025 is 62,853, which is, 2916 more than last year's 59,937 seats. This includes 18,160 seats in IITs, 24,525 seats in NITs, 9,940 seats in IIITs and 10,228 seats in other funded institutions.
This time seven new institutes have been added to JoSAA counselling. These include the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Gorakhpur, Rajasthan, Patna, Ropar, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University Amethi, Islamic University of Science and Technology, Jammu and Kashmir, and GS Institute of Technology and Science, Indore.
