The 21-year-old conservationist - who is the is the son of late 'Crocodile Hunter' star Steve Irwin - recently teamed up with the heir to the British throne after he was was named a Global Ambassador for the Prince of Wales' Earthshot Prize and thinks that is a " great privilege" to be given such a "fantastic platform" to spread his message. He told UsWeekly: "I think Prince William has been such an amazing person to work with, and there is such an incredible synergy between what he does and who he is and who we are. "It's all about conservation. "'I think it's wonderful that someone so influential — that has such a fantastic platform — is using that to really better our environment. He is a true environmental hero, and so working with him has been a great privilege." The 'Crikey! It's The Irwins' star insisted that everyone in the world needs to "prioritize" the environment as he insisted that William , 42, is "at the forefront" of that movement. He said: "We've definitely compared a lot of notes in the conservation space. "It doesn't matter where you're from — whether internationally in Australia, here in America, wherever you are — we need to prioritize taking care of our natural world. And he's really at the forefront of that. "And plus, he's just a great guy. When you have a conversation with him, he's the most lovely, intelligent person to talk to and is just so easygoing, so much fun. And I love working with him. He's a really, really, really good guy.' The 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant had previously participated in The Earthshot Prize ceremony in Singapore, and at the time, he gushed about how the initiative was so important when it comes to having "hope" for the environment. He said: "The Earthshot Prize is a beacon of hope for all of us who care about the environment and about our ability to ensure a livable future for ourselves and future generations. "Healthy oceans, ecosystems, and species equal a healthy planet, and The Earthshot Prize recognizes the importance of investing in and helping grow solutions that protect these critical resources.'."

Hollywood actor Brian Austin Green has opened up about the deaths of 90210 co-stars Shannen Doherty and Luke Perry, saying the tragedies forced him 'not to take things for granted'. In 2019, Luke Perry, passed away from a catastrophic stroke at 52 years old. And in July last year Shannen Doherty, 53, died from breast cancer after a long battle with the illness. 'Luke's passing was so incredibly sudden. He was young. He was my age now,' Green told Stellar. 'And then Shannen passing, too, hit home the concept of: we're not those kids anymore. 'We're in a new period of life where we have to really value the relationships with people that we have, and not take things for granted, because it's unbelievable how fast you can lose something or someone that seemed so invaluable.' When you have kids in school, it's a hard thing to do [to uproot them]. 'So we are looking at all options to see what makes sense. But having a blended family does not make things easy.' Aside from young Zane, the blended family includes Green and former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Vanessa Marcil's son Kassius, 23, as well as Green's other children Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11 and Journey, eight, with Megan Fox. Burgess, who is originally from Wagga Wagga in regional New South Wales, tells Stellar that their three-year-old son is the glue of the family. 'Having Zane has absolutely bonded everyone together,' Burgess said. 'I was always incredibly close with the kids as our relationship grew, but when Zane came along, it was like that piece locked in where they were, like, 'Oh, this is forever.'' Dancing With The Stars premieres at 7pm on June 15 on the Seven Network and 7Plus. "I'm in a scary place right now. I've been kinda sorta avoiding the direct message section for a little bit," he told UsWeekly. "The last couple months have been very eye-opening, that's for sure. And I really thought in modelling Bonds underwear or doing Dancing With the Stars, that sort of thing, I could bring in a whole new audience to listen to my conservation message." Irwin hopes his upcoming stint on the dancing competition will bring his passion to a wider audience. "I definitely feel like I'm really lucky that now I've got a whole new audience that I can reach and hopefully just put out a bit of positivity," he said. "You just got to give it your all. And you've got to try as hard as you can to have a bit of fun." He says he's grateful to follow in the footsteps of his sister Bindi Irwin, who won the Mirrorball Trophy in 2015.
