Despite a strong challenge from his German rival Julian Weber, who posted an 87.88m throw in his first attempt and ultimately finished second, Neeraj managed to come out on top. Chopra, who came second to Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem in Paris, emerged on top of the list which has Anderson Peters of Grenada in second spot followed by Jakub Vadlejch of Czech Republic.
