Bears QB Caleb Williams joins anti-Packers chant at Summer Smash
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has made his feelings known about the Green Bay Packers, where he recently discussed why Packers fans "suck" after Chicago's last-second win at Lambeau Field back in January.
There's no love lost between the Bears and Packers fanbases -- especially now that it looks like this is a rivalry again -- and it's always fun when your team's players gets into the fun. And Williams is continuing to give Bears fans even more reasons to love him.
During Summer Smash, a hip hop festival just outside of Chicago, an anti-Packers chant -- "F--- Green Bay" -- broke out, and Williams was spotted among the crowd chanting along.
Williams has gotten off to an encouraging start against the Packers, as he went 1-1 during his rookie season. That included a 24-22 win at Lambeau Field in the regular-season, where Williams led the game-winning drive. Williams should be undefeated against Green Bay after leading what should've been another game-winning drive at Soldier Field in Week 11, but Cairo Santos' potential game-winning field goal was blocked.
Williams will get two more chances to beat the Packers this season, but he'll have to wait as Chicago and Green Bay won't play each other until December, where they'll face off twice in three weeks.

Chicago Sky Coach Had Unexpected Words After Loss to Atlanta Dream
Chicago Sky Coach Had Unexpected Words After Loss to Atlanta Dream originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Chicago Sky will look to bounce back on Tuesday when they play the Los Angeles Sparks at Arena, hoping to end their current skid and regain positioning in the WNBA standings. Advertisement On Sunday afternoon, the Sky suffered their 10th loss of the season, falling to the Atlanta Dream despite several standout performances. After being blown out by the Phoenix Mercury less than 24 hours earlier, Chicago battled against Atlanta, but fell short in the fourth quarter. While in a losing effort, veteran guard Ariel Atkins led the way for Chicago with 29 points while also contributing six rebounds and three assists. Chicago Sky guard Rebecca Allen (9), guard Ariel Atkins (7), guard Courtney Vandersloot (22), center Kamilla Cardoso (10) and forward Angel Reese (5)Patrick Gorski-Imagn Images Angel Reese bounced back from a quiet outing against Phoenix by tallying 10 points, 19 rebounds and four assists. Elizabeth Williams chipped in 16 points off the bench. The loss dropped the Sky to 3-10 on the year, leaving them near the bottom of the WNBA standings. Despite the loss, Sky head coach Tyler Marsh was unexpectedly complimentary of his team postgame. Advertisement "Tonight was the most complete game we've played all year, including our two wins against Dallas and win against Connecticut," he said. Only the Connecticut Sun have a worse record in the Eastern Conference than Chicago, and although there's a lot of time left in the season, the Sky's margin for error is shrinking fast. Now riding back-to-back losses and entering difficult west coast road trip, Chicago will aim to turn things around and capture some momentum when they take on the Sparks in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Chicago Sky Announce Angel Reese Injury News After Ninth Loss
Chicago Sky Announce Angel Reese Injury News After Ninth Loss originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Chicago Sky fell to the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday, dropping their record to 3-9 on the 2025 WNBA season. After what had been an impressive four-game stretch individually, sophomore forward Angel Reese attempted just one shot in the loss to Phoenix, which was a season low. Advertisement Chicago is back in action on Sunday against the Atlanta Dream, which will complete a difficult back-to-back. Playing against Phoenix on Saturday, the Sky had a quick turnaround and will now play the Dream on Sunday afternoon. As they look to get back in the win column, the Sky announced injury news regarding Reese. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese (5).Kamil Krzaczynski-Imagn Images For the first time this season, Reese was listed on the injury report. Sky reporter Karli Bell posted on X that the 2024 WNBA All-Star was listed as questionable to play against Atlanta due to a leg injury. It initially seemed possible that Reese's addition to the injury report was precautionary due to the quick turnaround on the second day of a back-to-back, especially since she was seen warming up on the court pregame. Ahead of Sunday's meeting Sky head coach Tyler Marsh confirmed Reese's questionable status, saying she was officially a game-time decision against Atlanta (via Karli Bell). The team has since upgraded her to available, meaning she will play. Advertisement Speaking with reporters after Saturday's game, Marsh was asked about why he pulled his starters so early. While he cited the lopsided score, he also mentioned Chicago has some players banged up right now, and the team is actively managing workloads on this tough back-to-back (via Chicago State of Mind Sports). In other injury news, the Sky will have Moriah Jefferson available for the first time this season.
