Dakota Johnson looked like the ultimate rom-com heroine at the New York premiere of Materialists on June 7. In a floor-length, asymmetrical, backless satin gown and strappy sandals, Johnson joined actor Chris Evans and director Celine Song on the red carpet. With some seriously loud luxury, rich-girl accessories, the Fifty Shades of Grey star proved she's ready for romance.
The actress—who is styled by Kate Young—recently frosted her Ferragamo little black dress with a $25,500 Roberto Coin ring. For the premiere of her new romantic comedy Materialists, Johnson accessorized her Gucci gown with Messika jewelry, Oliver Peoples x Khaite sunglasses, and a celeb-beloved Gucci Horsebit 1955 bag.
Johnson's floor-length, asymmetrical Gucci black satin dress hails from the fashion house's Cruise 2026 collection. The stunning gown features an asymmetrical, halter neckline with an open back and a scarf detail, which cascades into a long, thin train.
Leaving her hotel ahead of the premiere, Johnson was seen carrying a Gucci Mini Horsebit 1955 Asymmetric Shoulder Bag, and wearing a pair of Oliver Peoples x Khaite 1951C Sunglasses, which retail for $590.
Johnson's asymmetrical Gucci Horsebit bag—which is among the best Gucci bags to invest in—was a perfect fit for her outfit, which she completed with a pair of strappy black sandals.

Dying for Sex is based on Kochan and Boyer's Wondery podcast of the same name, so the cast was aware of where each boundary-pushing episode may take them as they explored everything from BDSM to animal role play and even golden showers, leaving Williams to wonder each time she received a new script, 'What situations am I going to find myself in?' But the actress admits there was no hesitation with the material, 'There's no 'Oh gosh, I don't want to do that,' or 'I feel uncomfortable.' It's just, I cannot believe that I get to do this crazy mash up of experiences and emotions.' Despite the physical exposure and vulnerability that was necessary in portraying these wild sexual adventures, Delaney says the real work was in examining the emotions behind the behavior. 'The emotional stuff you've really got to strip away and be honest and open. I'll speak for myself but I found that a lot harder than getting [literally] kicked in the balls.' For Williams, in telling Molly's story her own ideas around sex changed. 'Can you feel pleasure without shame?' She personally pondered while speaking with Gold Derby. 'Can you accept what you want and try and leave shame, which seems to be some sort of cultural inheritance as women, but can you leave shame at the door?' Despite her fearless and raw exploration of personal pleasure and sexual desire, when pressed for her conclusion she laughed. 'Working on it!' Wanna feel old, Focker? Meet the Parents is turning 25 this October, and to mark the occasion, the cast — including Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, and Teri Polo — and director Jay Roach reunited at the Tribeca Film Festival over the weekend for a Q&A after an anniversary screening of the comedy. And while the original movie was the night's main topic, the recently announced fourth movie in the series seemed to be on everyone's mind. Last month, it was announced that Academy Award nominee Ariana Grande would be joining the cast. "But the character [Grande is] playing is — she's going to be really, really funny and kind of the whole engine of the new movie. So it's exciting." "The script is really fun," De Niro said. "I fell in love with that script, the first film script … because imagining what it's like when you care so much about winning the approval of someone, and you're right away going to start screwing it up, and the harder you try the worse you're going to make it," said Roach, who is returning to produce the fourth movie. "And I think that's what [writer John Hamburg] has come up with again, and that's what you always need. That predicament is everything in a story. And I think in this one, John found a really great new predicament. I think everybody's going to love squirming through it, just like this." That film went on to gross $310 million at the worldwide box office, but that total marked a low-point for the series and didn't help with the less-than-enthusiastic reviews. But at Tribeca, the original Meet the Parents received a warm reception, something that Stiller called out during the talk afterward. "It's so much fun to hear laughter in a theater with comedy that's 25 years old," he said. "It still works." The film's lasting legacy has had some downside, however. "When someone yells 'Focker!' on the street, it doesn't necessarily feel respectful," Stiller said. See This Heartbreaking Footage Of Abandoned CBS Studio After Magnum P.I. And NCIS: Hawai'i Were Canceled

While we're officially six months into the 2025 TV schedule, there are still a handful of TV cancellations from 2024 that I will never get over. NCIS: Hawai'i and Magnum P.I. are two of these. The series, both set and filmed in the Aloha State, ended after their respective third and fifth seasons last year, with Magnum actually canceled for the second time this time around. The axings still feel fresh to me, butnew footage has been posted of the abandoned studio lot in Hawaii, and it's very clear time has passed. Jason Antoon, who portrayed cyber intelligence specialist Ernie Malik on the NCIS: Hawai'i spinoff, shared a video on X from outside Hawaii Film Studio in Honolulu, O'ahu. It's no longer bustling with projects, and it seems pretty abandoned. So much so that it's empty and 'full of weeds,' as Antoon himself confirmed. The overgrown grass an empty feeling is heartbreaking, and it's sad seeing the studios aren't bringing much entertainment work to the island anymore. That wasn't always the case; Hawaii Film Studio was also previously the home of Hawaii Five-0 and Lost, as well as several other films and shows. Rising costs have plagued the entertainment industry in recent years. "Financials" were previously cited by CBS as a reason the decision was made, and it's probably getting more expensive to shoot in Hawaii, and budget cuts seemed like a probability even before the show was shut down. NCIS: Hawai'i's cancellation last year was a pretty big shock, especially since it was doing well for the Eye Network. Star Vanessa Lachey was blindsided by the cancelation, and Antoon ended up trolling CBS over the news. There had been some hope that CBS would change its mind, since there were campaigns and petitions from very upset fans, but that never happened. Now seeing the studio looking like a ghost town makes me sad all over again. There was hope things could continue in Hawaii following the cancellations, thanks to Fox's Rescue: HI-Surf, a lifeguard drama set on the North Shore of O'ahu. However, that series also got the boot in May, but only because it didn't bring in the audience Fox was expecting. What really needs to happen is for a new show to take over the studio lot, one that is guaranteed to not only bring in jobs to the locals but one that will last, a rarity on network TV these days. NCIS: Hawai'i and Magnum P.I. may be no longer, but the shows live on thanks to streaming. Hawai'i can be streamed with a Paramount+ subscription, while Magnum is available with an Amazon Prime subscription.
