'I flew from Manchester to Ibiza and spent less than a night out in the UK'
A savvy Brit spent less jetting to Ibiza than she would have done on a night out in the UK.
Savannah Southward decided against paying extortionate prices in Blighty. The 22-year-old booked some cheap flights to spend 17 hours dancing and soaking up the Spanish sun.
Savannah and her pal Leighton Speak spent just £45 on their Ryanair tickets from Manchester Airport.

The duo landed in Ibiza at around 10pm before heading to British DJ duo CamelPhat's opening party at nightclub Pacha.
The salon owner arrived around midnight and partied until 6am, before the pair headed to the beach.
The pals sunbathed their hangovers away and topped up their tans before heading back to the UK.
She spent £40 at the club and £15 on spending money so in total the trip costs her £100.
'Even though Ibiza is an expensive place I didn't spend more than I would on a night in the UK,' Savannah, of Wigton, near Carlisle, Cumbria, told Luxury Travel Daily.
'I think a lot of people do day trips abroad because there's always cheap flights and sometimes you spend less than you would in the UK.
'I would absolutely pick Ibiza nightlife over the UK, it's always so busy with so many options of clubs and music.
'We landed about 10pm and had some pre-drinks before we went to CamelPhat's opening party at Pacha.
'It opened at 11pm but we got there for about 12:30am and stayed until 6am.
'We then waited on the beach until it was time to go back to the airport about 12pm.
'We didn't go to sleep but we were definitely ready for a nap when we got on the plane.
'The whole night went so fast we didn't even have time to think about being tired.
'We both agreed it was the best night out we've ever had and now we know how easy and affordable it is we have rebooked for July.'
The duo took the trip last month flying out on 20 May and returning the next day.

Woman baffled by 'ridiculous' armrest on Ryanair flight from Mallorca
A 'frustrated' holidaymaker has accused Ryanair of 'ridiculous' cost-saving tactics - by giving her only 'a third of an armrest' on her flight. Becky Shaw was flying home at midnight from a four-day trip to Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on but was surprised to discover she only had an armrest 'stump' on her right-hand side. The 28-year-old was left 'frustrated' after not being able to rest her head on her hand and was forced to stay awake for the two-hour flight so she was 'really tired' for work that day. Having forked out £150 for the return flight from Manchester Airport, the accountant couldn't understand the 'really stupid' decision not to have a full-length armrest. She believes it to be a way for the low-cost airline to cut costs but claims that passengers expect to be able to rest their arms during even low-budget flights. Taking to TikTok, Becky shared footage of her seat captioned 'you can't seriously call that an armrest', which has now gone viral with more than 8,576 views. READ MORE: Woman found dead in car READ MORE: Judge says 'nobody is impressed' after what man did in crowd of Liverpool fans In the clip you can see Becky strapped into her chair with only a tiny portion of armrest and the rest just empty space. One user took to the comments disagreeing with Becky as 'nobody can complain' because it is a budget airline. Becky, who lives on the Wirral, said: "I don't know why it wasn't a full-length arm rest but it was ridiculous. It was one third of an arm rest and you could rest your elbow on it. There was literally no point in it being there. I had a full one on the other side but I didn't on my right side. It was a bit mad. "It was frustrating because it was a late-night flight and I wanted to sleep because I was working the next day but I couldn't put my arm down to rest my head on my hand because there was no armrest there. I wasn't going to lean on the person next to me. I was awake for the whole flight which was not ideal because we didn't land until nearly 2am and then I was really tired for work the next day." The accountant, who'd flown to Palma de Mallorca with a friend to enjoy the bank holiday weekend, admitted she thinks it was a 'cost-saving' tactic by the airline. Becky said: "There was no benefit as to why it wouldn't be a full-length one. I just assumed it would be cost-saving because that's what they tend to do. They cut costs wherever they can. "I know that they charge stupid money for bags and stuff but that's an armrest, it's a given with a flight isn't it. It's a cheap flight but realistically it doesn't end up being cheap when you have to take bags and I expect to be able to rest my arm, that's a given. You don't expect free food and stuff like that but you'd expect your seat to have an armrest." Ryanair has been approached for a comment.

Ryanair introduces £500 fines for disruptive passengers
Disruptive Ryanair passengers removed from planes will be fined £500, the airline has announced. The carrier said this will be the 'minimum' punishment, and it will continue to pursue passengers for civil damages. Ryanair expressed hope the new policy will 'act as a deterrent to eliminate this unacceptable behaviour'. A spokesperson for the airline said: 'It is unacceptable that passengers are made to suffer unnecessary disruption because of one unruly passenger's behaviour. 'To help ensure that our passengers and crew travel in a comfortable and stress-free environment, without unnecessary disruption caused by a tiny number of unruly passengers, we have introduced a £500 fine, which will be issued to any passengers offloaded from aircraft as a result of their misconduct. 'While these are isolated events which happen across all airlines, disruptive behaviour in such a confined shared space is unacceptable.'
