Priyanka Chopra calls out quote on virginity and marriage falsely attributed to her: ‘Don't believe everything you scroll past'

Priyanka Chopra is busy promoting her upcoming Hollywood action comedy Heads of State, but she couldn't help but notice a quote doing the rounds on social media which has been falsely attributed to her. The actor decided to call it out and clarified that she never said those words. She also cautioned against the misuse of social media.
The quote in question read, 'Don't look for virgins as wife. Get a woman with good manners. Virginity ends in one night but manners last forever.' Priyanka shared the screenshot of a portal attributing the quote to her on her Instagram Stories and wrote, 'This is not me, my quote or my voice. Just because it's online, doesn't make it true.'
Priyanka Chopra warned her followers against falling for similar fake content. 'Creating fake content is now an easy way to achieve virality. None of the links or 'sources' attached to this claim, or many others online, are reliable or credible. Take a minute to crosscheck such content and don't believe anything you scroll past. Stay safe online,' added the actor.
On her appearance on The Ranveer Show in 2023, Priyanka had insisted on the importance of being a 'bold girl' instead of a 'good girl'. She had said, 'Good girls don't make history. Bold girls make history. Bold people make history. So if you want to be the lead actor of your movie, which is your life, you've got to make choices that might be contrary to what you've heard.'
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra's next film Heads of State will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 2. Directed by Ilya Naishuller of Nobody fame, the globetrotting adventure movie features Priyanka alongside Idris Elba and John Cena. It's about the US President (Cena) and the UK Prime Minister (Elba), who must set aside their rivalry to thwart a global conspiracy and save the world — if they can work together.
Priyanka is currently shuttling between the US and India as she's also filming for SS Rajamouli's next directorial opposite Mahesh Babu. Meanwhile, season 2 of her spy thriller show Citadel, which was set to release in 2025, has been delayed until spring 2026 as the show, produced by Joe and Anthony Russo's AGBO, is facing challenges once again.
The first season of the hit show featured Priyanka Chopra alongside Richard Madden. The spy series, which spanned across six episodes, also starred Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, Ashleigh Cummings, Roland Moller, and Rahul Kohli, among others. Shooting for the second season was completed in November 2023. However, Amazon MGM is now making changes to improve the final product.

She is also set to reunite with her Baywatch co-star Zac Efron for Nicholas Stoller's untitled comedy film. Michael Pena has also joined the lead cast of the film, which is being produced under the collaboration of Amazon MGM Studios.

Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte splits from wife Kayla Rae Reid — a former Playboy model — after seven years

Image via Instagram/ Ryan Lochte (Image of Ryan Lochte with Kayla Rae Reid and their three children) In the sometimes turbulent intersection of celebrity and family, Olympic gold often casts a long shadow on personal life. Ryan Lochte, once celebrated as a charismatic champion of the pool, is now navigating a very different kind of challenge: a heart-wrenching divorce after seven years of marriage. His wife, Kayla Rae Reid, known for her career as a Playboy model and now a successful realtor, has described their split as 'one of the most painful, revealing, and challenging seasons' of her life. Kayla's announcement—grounded in deep reflection and spoken from a place of healing—offers a glimpse into a private journey made public. It's a story of two people who once soared together into gratitude and triumph, now finding themselves at a crossroads. But beneath the sadness lies an uplifting thread: a profound commitment to authenticity, self-love, and a shared dedication to their three children. This isn't just a celebrity breakup—it's a testament to choosing inner peace and resilience over staying in pain. Why did the couple choose to split? Kayla and Ryan's love story began at the 2016 Rio Olympics and blossomed quickly. They got engaged the same year and married in 2018. The couple welcomed three children: son Caiden Zane (almost 8), daughter Liv Rae (6), and little Georgia June (just turned 2) . On June 4, Kayla took to Instagram to share her heartbreaking update: > 'Earlier this year, I made the hard decision to end my marriage after deep prayer and reflection… For me, leaving was an act of love—for those around me and for myself.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Accounting Automation Software Might Help You To Earn More Accounting Automation Software | Search ads Undo She emphasized marriage's value and took time to speak only when her wounds had healed enough—not in the raw aftermath. 'Protecting our peace, our children, and our future' took precedence over preserving appearances. Ryan, ever the public figure, replied with grace. He described the decision as 'difficult' and a step 'toward peace and well‑being for us both.' His social media post honored their shared history and emphasized their unity in parenting. Later, through a candid video shared on Instagram Stories, Lochte admitted the public reaction was 'rough,' especially while spending time with Caiden and Liv. He expressed heartfelt thanks for the 'open arms' of his support circle and reaffirmed his 'commitment to healing, growth, and co‑parenting with care and respect'. While neither has disclosed intimate details, court filings and insiders indicate the split was amicable yet rooted in deeper issues. Kayla filed for divorce on March 26, citing their marriage as 'irretrievably broken'. Additionally, Ryan confronted serious difficulties in recent years—recovering from a near‑fatal car accident, battling depression, and addressing financial strain. Through it all, Kayla remained steadfast, described as his fiercest support until a revealing tipping point appeared. Ryan Lochte and Kayla Reid's separation is a poignant chapter of love, growth, and transformation. Though the spotlight once traced their joyful beginnings—from Olympic fame to family milestones—it now illuminates their courageous choice to part ways with respect and purpose. Kayla's heartfelt reflection, framed in prayer and authenticity, and Ryan's unwavering commitment to co‑parenting, signal that endings can still hold dignity. Their story reminds us that honoring oneself and one's loved ones sometimes means letting go. And perhaps, amid the disappointment, lies the promise of new beginnings—grounded in grace, healing, and the shared devotion to their children. Kim Kardashian to star in live-action 'Bratz' film

Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian is reportedly in talks to star in a live-action film based on the popular Bratz fashion doll toy line. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project is being developed by Amazon MGM, with Charlie Polinger and Lucy McKendrick penning the script. The Bratz toy line, launched in 2001, has reportedly sold over 200 million dolls worldwide. A previous live-action film adaptation, released in 2007, underperformed at the box office. Despite this, the brand remains popular, and the new film aims to bring the characters to life for a modern audience. Kardashian has been busy with various projects, including her recent appearance in the 12th season of American Horror Story. She is currently filming Ryan Murphy's Hulu legal drama series 'All's Fair', which she also produces. Additionally, she is set to star and produce the forthcoming Netflix comedy movie 'The 5th Wheel'. Charlie Polinger and Lucy McKendrick are writing the script for the live-action Bratz film. Polinger has marked his writing and directorial debut with 'The Plague', which screened at Cannes earlier this year. McKendrick is also set to write, direct, and star in the feature film Fangs, alongside Toni Collette and Joel Edgerton.
