New lights system illuminates Bowman Gray Stadium ahead of the NASCAR Clash
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A has been turned on at Bowman Gray Stadium ahead of the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray.
The Total Light Control LED lighting system from Musco was installed in the last couple of weeks and finally illuminated Wednesday night to get a feel for how it looks and do any nighttime troubleshooting.
The lighting system has patented light controls that prevent glare to drivers, spectators and TV cameras. It features special effects technology that can be used to create customized light shows that can change colors and synchronize to music.
The system was paid for with money that was awarded to Winston-Salem in 2022 through the NC Motorsports Relief Fund.
