Meraas awards over $544mln construction contract for Design Quarter at d3
DUBAI - Meraas, a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a contract worth over AED2 billion to Arabian Construction Company LLC for the construction of Design Quarter at d3, which includes the first residential community within Dubai Design District (d3), a global creative and design ecosystem.
Scheduled for completion by mid-2027, the Design Quarter at d3 comprises a collection of 558 apartments. These are spread across three buildings – one low-rise and two towering skyscrapers – nestled within a landscaped podium.
This elevated podium serves as a communal area, linking the residential towers to form a social hub for the residents. This will include co-working spaces, an indoor-outdoor gym, pool facilities, barbecue areas and fun-filled zones for children's activities.

Meraas awards over AED300mln construction contract for phase 7 of Madinat Jumeirah Living Elara
Dubai, UAE: Meraas, a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a construction contract worth over AED 300 million to Al Sahel Contracting Company for Elara, Phase 7 of the Madinat Jumeirah Living master plan. The renewed contract follows the successful completion and handover of the first four phases of the landmark project, nestled in Dubai's most prestigious freehold neighbourhood. Al Sahel is currently developing the fifth phase of the project, now in its final stages of completion. The announcement marks a milestone in the construction of this prime residential development, which is poised to redefine the city's urban landscape. Dubai's Meraas awards main contract worth $82mln for Elara Phase 7
Meraas, a part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded the main construction contract for Elara, Phase 7 of the Madinat Jumeirah Living master plan in Dubai The contract, worth over 300 million UAE dirhams ($82 million), was awarded to Al Sahel Contracting Company. The contractor had previously delivered first four phases of the project, and is currently developing the fifth phase of the project, now in its final stages of completion. Phase 7 features three residential towers offering 234 apartments and is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026. Last week, the developer had awarded a contract worth over AED 690 million to Bhatia General Contracting Company for Phase 4 of Nad Al Sheba Gardens.
