Bills Offense Goes Back To Square 1 In Development

Bills Offense Goes Back To Square 1 In Development originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Buffalo Bills have one of the best offensive units in the entire NFL The reigning MVP in Josh Allen is back, and he's got a collection of solid receivers, and a 1,000-yard runner (assuming James Cook eventually shows up), and a top-five offensive line are all part of the Bills' dominant offense. Advertisement As the team prepares for another year together - and a Super Bowl push that begins with this week's minicamp - the Bills have a difficult task. ... a hump to overcome. In short? It's easy for a talented offense to get stale after so many years together. It's why their play-caller, Joe Brady, will be under immense pressure this season. Brady has a plan to keep the offense from falling into that trap, though. And it starts with pushing the entire group back to Square One through offseason workouts. "I think a problem every coach faces every year is if you think you can just pick up where you left off, you lose sight of the details, you lose sight of the how, you lose sight of what got you to that point," Brady said. "There are elements of what we did last year that we obviously need to continue to sustain, but there are so many elements we've got to get better at." Advertisement Buffalo has always been one of the more efficiently explosive offensive units in the league over the last few years. They have gone toe-to-toe with the best ... and won more than their share. The Bills believe themselves to be Super Bowl contenders. Time will tell if that is the case in 2025. And going back to Square One is part of that plan. Browns' Myles Garrett Sends Major Threat to Aaron Rodgers After Joining Steelers

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The AFC North is one of the most storied divisions in the NFL, and the teams within the division certainly know how to drive home their deep-seated rivalries. In fact, two of the teams that are constantly going after one another are the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. More news: Colts' Anthony Richardson Given Unfortunate Timeline Return After Visiting Surgeon The Browns also have one of the most outspoken players in terms of rivalries and terrorizing opposing quarterbacks, which is star pass rusher Myles Garrett. Garrett spoke to the media about the fact that Aaron Rodgers is now a member of the Steelers, and he laid out a simple threat to the quarterback. Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett on Aaron Rodgers joining the AFC North: 'Good opportunity to put him in the graveyard.' — Jori Epstein (@JoriEpstein) June 10, 2025 When Garrett was asked about his thoughts on Rodgers joining the AFC North, he simply stated: "Good opportunity to put him in the graveyard." The simple yet effective threat is something that is expected of Garrett, who has continually secured 12+ sacks in the past five seasons. Considering the Browns will play the Steelers twice in 2025, it's a good chance that he will make sure to make good on his threat to Rodgers. Myles Garrett #95 of the Cleveland Browns warms up before the game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on January 04, 2025 in Baltimore, news: Exclusive: Seahawks' Sam Darnold on Rejoining the NFC West and Resurgence Garrett has plenty of fun when it comes to the graveyard reference, as he famously wore a costume during Halloween that featured him mimicking the Grim Reaper, and showcasing the quarterbacks that he sacked in his career up to that point. .@Flash_Garrett is the Grim Reaper. 💀 He listed all the QBs he sacked on his back. 😅 📺: #PITvsCLE -- 1pm ET on CBS 📱: NFL app — NFL (@NFL) October 31, 2021 Now, the star pass rusher has a chance to add Rodgers to that list. Garrett has been one of the best pass rushers in the league, leading to his being awarded a monster extension. He signed a four-year, $160 million contract in March, leading to him resetting the pass rusher market at $40 million per season. Though that number might sound a bit crazy, Garrett has continually been a defensive powerhouse for the Browns. His performance led to his asking for a trade from Cleveland, which rocked the NFL. While everyone believed that the Browns were going to be stuck in a tough situation deciding to trade Garrett, they instead brought him back on a monster new extension. Garrett is one of the anchors for the Browns, and there is a good chance he will rack up another double-digit sack count in 2025. Now, time will tell if that sack count will include Rodgers.
