Ivanka Trump leaves sweet surprise for Philadelphia Eagles cornerback after his ‘exactly my type' compliment
Ivanka Trump left a heartfelt message for a special admirer in the Philadelphia Eagles' locker room after a visit to the White House. The gesture came after the admirer, a member of the Eagles, publicly complimented her looks, making for an unexpected but sweet exchange between the two.

Ivanka visited the Philadelphia Eagles' training facility with her family on Friday. During the tour, she seemed to specifically seek out cornerback Eli Ricks, who had gone viral the previous month for publicly declaring that Ivanka was 'beautiful' and 'exactly my type.' Her note for the player read, 'Stopped by to say hi! Sorry to miss you! Go Birds!' which she later posted on X in direct response to his April 28 declaration on social media, as reported by The New York Post.
She also shared videos and photos of her son, Theodore Kushner, enjoying a flag football session with his team on the practice field and exploring the Eagles' training grounds.
Ricks previously posted on X, 'Donald trump daughter is beautiful damn. After seeing her in person, Ivanka is exactly my type.' The post followed the California native's visit to the White House last month, where he celebrated his team's Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. During the visit, he couldn't help but notice Ivanka Trump, who has been married to Jared Kushner since 2009.

Rick responded to the note left by Ivanka on X, reported by outreach, 'My apologies, I owe you a glass of wine now xx!' as he was not available at the facility while Ivanka visited. Ricks, a former college football standout at LSU and Alabama, joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023 as an undrafted free agent. During his rookie season, he played in seven games, mostly contributing on special teams as he worked to establish himself in the NFL.

49ers and Bryce Huff hope the pass rusher will be a perfect fit in San Francisco
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Bryce Huff went into the offseason expecting a trade after failing to produce in a new role in his one year in Philadelphia after signing a lucrative contract as a free agent. Ending up in San Francisco seems to be a perfect fit. After being a proverbial square peg in a round hole with the Eagles when he was used as a standup outside linebacker instead of a pass rusher off the edge, Huff has reunited with his former coach Robert Saleh in a scheme that caters to his strength of being able to get off the ball quickly and disrupt opposing quarterbacks. 'I learned a lot about myself throughout that experience,' Huff said Wednesday about his season with the Eagles. 'It just didn't work out at the end of the day. So you live and you learn. All I focus on is what I'm doing right now and that's being a 49er and doing everything I can to help this team win.' The Niners are counting on Huff to be able to do just that, believing that he can be the bookend speed rusher across from star Nick Bosa that the team has been seeking ever since a back injury sidelined Dee Ford after he helped the team reach the Super Bowl in 2019. Ford had 6 1/2 sacks in 11 games that season when Saleh was defensive coordinator but played only seven games the next two seasons because of the injuries, leaving a void in the defense that the 49ers believe Huff can fill. 'He affects the quarterback,' coach Kyle Shanahan said. "When you talk about just getting off the ball and how fast he does it. He will be our best get off the ball guy we've had since Dee Ford. So in terms of that, it's good to beat tackles that way, but also widens tackles to help with the inside pass rush and things like that and he affects the quarterback.' The Niners got Huff on the cheap a year after he signed a $51.1 million, three-year deal with Philadelphia. San Francisco traded a conditional fifth-round pick last month for Huff and are on the hook for only $7.95 million of salary this season. Huff had his best success as a pro under Saleh with the New York Jets, He was initially as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and began to emerge as a key player after Saleh took over as head coach the following year and turned him from a linebacker into a defensive end. Huff put on about 20 pounds of muscle and began to show flashes quickly before breaking through with a 10-sack season in 2023 that led to the big free-agent contract. 'Speed off the edge,' Saleh said of Huff's biggest strength. 'I think highly of him as a pass rusher. Thought he was very productive, obviously, with the Jets. He wins at such a high rate. A lot of times we look at pass rushers, we look as sacks and sacks are important. They end drives. It's what ultimately gets these guys paid. But his disruption rate in getting the quarterback off the spot and the way he can do it now. ... He wins so quickly so often that coordinators have to account for his presence on the field.' Huff had 67 pressures on just 334 pass rush snaps in 2023 for the Jets, according to Pro Football Focus, as he became one of the most efficient pass rushers in the game. The Niners were in need of another pass rusher after cutting Leonard Floyd early in the offseason. They drafted Mykel Williams 11th overall in April but had no other defensive end who had a season with at least five sacks in the NFL. Yetur Gross-Matos is the only other edge rusher on the roster with extensive experience. Gross-Matos had four sacks last season in his first year with San Francisco. 'He's going to bring that speed demon off the edge, that's going require a running back or a chip opposite of Nick,' left tackle Trent Williams said. 'I think he adds that the kind of that Dee Ford effect that they had in '19 that took them to the Super Bowl. One of the reasons we had a really, really good defense for those couple years is having that guy who can actually make that quarterback step up by getting a good jump off the ball and being able to bend the edge.' /hub/nfl

Rashee Rice's two-word reply to Marquise Brown hints at Chiefs WR brotherhood ahead of 2025
Rashee Rice's two-word reply to Marquise Brown (Image credit: Imagn Images) As the Kansas City Chiefs ramp up preparations for the 2025 NFL season, an unexpected but telling moment on social media is highlighting the growing brotherhood among their wide receivers. Rashee Rice, coming off a promising rookie campaign and an offseason under scrutiny, made waves this week with just two words—and they've resonated deeply with Chiefs fans. Raw Instagram moment gives fans a glimpse into Chiefs' locker room culture During the team's Organized Team Activities (OTAs), newly acquired wideout Marquise "Hollywood" Brown posted a personal and emotional message on Instagram, "Hope these voices in my head go quiet." The line, vague yet vulnerable, left fans wondering about the mindset of one of the Chiefs' high-profile offseason signings. Rice didn't stay silent. His reply, 'My Bloody!' — a phrase signaling fierce loyalty, unshaken support, and a tight-knit team culture that's quietly taking shape in Kansas City's locker room. While Rice's comment was brief, its meaning was powerful. The term 'My Bloody' often implies a bond that goes beyond teammates—it speaks to shared struggles, mutual trust, and the kind of emotional backing that championship teams thrive on. It also subtly signals that despite Rice's legal distractions earlier this year and Brown's adjustment to the Chiefs system, both players are locked in on a united front. With Patrick Mahomes entering the season hungry for a third straight Super Bowl, emotional cohesion within the wide receiver unit is more than symbolic—it's strategic. Chiefs banking on WR revamp to fuel repeat Rice is expected to return as the team's top receiver following his LCL injury last season, while Brown is looking to revive his deep-threat reputation alongside Mahomes. But they're not alone—rookie Xavier Worthy, who clocked a blistering 4.21-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, brings a whole new level of speed to the offense. That record-setting time made headlines and adds a game-breaking element Kansas City hasn't had since Tyreek Hill. With Rice offering leadership, Brown adding experience, and Worthy injecting elite explosiveness, Kansas City's receiver room is shaping up as one of its most dangerous in years. Nick Sirianni dismisses Saquon Barkley retirement talk, says RB has ‘plenty left' and is key to Eagles' future
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni isn't buying into the buzz around Saquon Barkley's retirement comments. Instead, he's all-in on the star running back being a central piece of Philadelphia's offensive engine in 2025 and beyond. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Nick Sirianni calls Saquon Barkley vital to team's plans in 2025 After Saquon Barkley recently made headlines comparing himself to Barry Sanders—saying he could one day walk away from football without warning—Nick Sirianni offered a confident and grounded response. 'Yeah, I guess anybody could do that, right? I just know he's got a lot of good football left in him," Sirianni said, via a transcript from the team. "Again, I have interactions with these guys every single day and I'm excited that he's on our football team and he'll be on our football team for the 2025 season' 'And I really don't let myself get wrapped up into anything else beyond that, except for the day that we're in and trying to get ready for this practice and obviously handle all those things as they come. Yeah, as long as I'm the head coach here, I'd always want to have Saquon Barkley on this football team. Obviously it means a lot to this football team and as a player and as a teammate." Barkley's comments raise eyebrows, but Eagles remain locked in Barkley's original comments suggested that, like Sanders, he could leave the game on his own terms. However, there's been no indication he's considering retirement anytime soon. At 27, the two-time Pro Bowler is still viewed as one of the league's top dual-threat backs. After signing a three-year deal with the Eagles this offseason, Barkley is expected to be a featured weapon alongside Jalen Hurts in a retooled offense. Early reports from OTA sessions indicate that Barkley is in top shape and fully engaged with the team's offseason program.
