Beauty queen who won luxury £6m mansion in £10 Omaze raffle is DENIED keys as neighbour sparks bitter planning row
A UK beauty queen has been denied the keys to her own £6m home following an anonymous complaint about its design.
Former Miss Wales finalist, Vicky Curtis-Crewell, 38, won the luxury mansion in February when she was drawn from a £10 Omaze and Comic Relief raffle.

The house, however, has been under investigation after a member of public raised concerns in March about the design approvals of the home.
Ms Curtis-Cresswell, originally from south Wales, described the "pure joy" she felt after winning the property in Blakeney, Norfolk.
She entered the Miss Wales competition in 2008, where she became a finalist and also won Most Driven Contestant.
But after winning the £10 Omaze raffle draw, Ms Curtis-Creswell said: "Our lives changed forever and we became multi-millionaires.
"It's crazy, one week, we're worrying about our old car breaking down, the next thing we've got a £6 million house."
She had been living at her in-laws' home and was hoping to find a property for her family.
The mansion was the most expensive that has been given away in a UK prize draw, as the competition raised £4m for BBC's Comic Relief.
It was modelled on the luxurious seaside villas of Long Island's Hamptons, with a tennis court and swimming pool.
These features, however, are reported to not have planning permission, with the property also appearing to have been built larger than permitted according planning documents and photographs inspected.
Omaze say these issues were not revealed during checks and surveys by the fundraising firm before the property was purchased.
They added: 'Omaze continues to work with North Norfolk District Council in relation to recommendations made regarding the property in Norfolk.
"Omaze has submitted a pre-application to the council and is submitting a retrospective planning application.
'Omaze reiterates that it guarantees no house winner would ever have to incur any costs whatsoever to remedy any historical planning issue.
"Omaze further guarantees that all house prizes are transferred to winners with good and marketable title."
North Norfolk District Council who are investigating the planning breaches of the home, which may have to face enforcement action and even rebuilding.
A spokesperson for the council said: "We are waiting for an application to be submitted by the owners to try and regularise the current breaches of planning control.
"We are expecting an application to be submitted by the end of this month."
Ms Curtis-Cresswell has revealed she plans to sell the luxury mansion to instead buy a house in Wales for her family.
Managing director of local estate agents Minors and Brady, Jamie Minors, has however said the planning problems are likely to significantly impact the property's chance of sale, as well as value.
He said: "Selling it will definitely be more difficult and challenging, as solicitors will definitely advise against it."
If rented out, the property could earn around £5,500 per month, but Ms Curtis-Cresswell has said: "I think we'll sell it to release the money and buy another amazing house somewhere in Wales."
The 5,000 square-foot home came with a £250,000 cash prize, along with its summer house, all-weather AstroTruf tennis court, secluded pontoon, and £165,000 worth of furnishing.

Leftie comics like Jo Brand on new ITV DNA show are a special horror – pillars of woke masquerading as ‘alternative'
TELEVISION is filled with all sorts of human horrors. In my experience, the worst of the lot, though, are comedians, who tend to be nasty, morose, selfish, short- tempered, needy, back-biting, point-scoring egomaniacs. 6 6 There are some honourable exceptions, obviously. The real nightmares, however, are the left-wing stand-ups who still see themselves as 'alternative' but are actually pillars of TV 's woke, middle-class establishment and confuse their foul-mouthed political tirades and posturing with A) Compassion and B) Comedy. Jo Brand and Julian Clary are hardly the worst of them, but they'll have to do because they've just entered the wow zone on DNA Journey, an ITV rip-off which operates in much the same way as BBC One's Who Do You Think You Are? Only significant differences, in fact, are the ITV celebs appear in tandem and finish with an underwhelming reveal where a sweet, old woman from County Down called Gabrielle Rush suddenly had to come to terms with the news she was Jo Brand's second cousin (not nearly enough times removed). Poverty porn Before we arrived at that dead end, though, the pair had to lay out their dreams for the Journey with the phrase 'shooting for the moon' not even coming close to covering this pair's fantasies. Because his great-grandfather was Irish, 'where all the comedy comes from,' Julian hoped he might be related to Oscar Wilde, while Jo wanted to find someone caring as she fancies herself as 'one of those people that wants to make things better for people'. Unless, of course, you're one of those people Jo disagrees with politically, when she wants to spray you with battery acid. In the event? Conveniently, Julian did indeed discover a distant ancestor had once taken a picture of Oscar Wilde, and he also learned he had a great grandfather (x2) who, according to a London historian, 'was a policeman who'd served under Inspector Rimmer and Inspector Lecoq.' Here they also established a link to Jack the Ripper (Julian's GGx2 hadn't nicked him) that was almost as vague as the one they established to the serial killer during Alex Brooker's DNA Journey and Gemma Collins' Who Do You Think You Are? Gavin & Stacey star Alison Steadman breaks down in tears at life-changing discovery on DNA Journey For the truth is, of course, if they are desperate enough, ancestral shows can link everyone who lived in late 19th-century London to Jack the Ripper, just as lazily as they can link almost everyone with an Irish relative to the potato famine. In Jo's case, though, it was another of their obsessions. Poverty porn. Her great-grandfather, it transpired, had risen from the depths of a cholera-infested London hellhole to become a first-class dining car attendant on the railways, who rose to 'the very top of his profession'. A triumph of the human spirit that reminded Jo of someone else. Any guesses? 'I always thought that a bit about myself and comedy, because the reality was an Oxbridge education was more of a ticket to get on at the BBC. I had to do it all by myself.' You can see why a middle-class, home counties, grammar school girl like Jo wants to play the prole, obviously. In all of human history, though, there can't be many people as lucky and privileged as Jo Brand and Julian Clary, who may well have been inconvenienced by the fact they weren't nearly as funny as Oxbridge boys like Not The Nine O'Clock News and Python, at the start of their careers, but quickly became part of comedy's new right-on establishment and have both screwed a 40-year living out of TV on little more than innuendo and mildly amusing observations about cake. There's no chance of getting rid of them now either. They're fixtures. So I hope TV takes a slightly more ruthless approach with genealogy shows, which have been nothing but a series of let-downs since WDYTYA discovered in 2016 that Danny Dyer was heir to the throne, and rarely leave you with anything more than one fact you'll remember beyond the closing credits, as was demonstrated last night. 'Analysis has shown Jo Brand is 37 per cent Irish.' And still 63 per cent stout. GAME'S UP FOR PADDY 6 AFTER a month of spin-off shows and Sam Thompson 's bellowing theatrics, I'd been fully expecting to hate every moment of Soccer Aid 's England versus a World XI charity game, on Sunday night. Come the big day, however, something strange happened. England manager Tyson Fury started swearing a lot, for starters. Then, with the World XI trailing 3-0, Carlos Tevez suddenly started playing like the Golden Boot was at stake while the great Leonardo Bonucci forgot himself entirely and nearly put Lioness Steph Houghton in traction with the most brutally executed sliding tackle you've seen all season. Before you knew it, the score was 4-4 and the game was heading to the time-lengthening penalty shoot-out sponsors Unicef had probably been craving all night. Right up until the moment that foghorning oaf Big Zuu barrelled in from nowhere to stick an 83rd minute winner inside England goalkeeper Paddy McGuinness 's near post. At which point, Zuu set off on the wildest goal celebrations since Marco Tardelli's 'Scream for Italy' at the 1982 World Cup final and I could contain myself no longer and laughed until it nearly hurt. Throughout it all, of course, commentator Sam Matterface and the other ITV worthies insisted the 'most important and amazing' thing here was the £15million raised for charity, but they couldn't have been much more wrong. Via trial and a lot of funny errors, Soccer Aid had actually discovered something Paddy McGuinness does more disastrously than host A Question Of Sport. And that's truly amazing. SPEAKING entirely for herself at the Queen's Club tennis tournament, BBC's Anne Keothavong: 'You know what you're going to get with Tatjana Maria, low balls below the knees and you've got to get under them.' UNEXPECTED MORONS IN THE BAGGING AREA THE Finish Line, Roman Kemp: 'Got To Be Certain was an Eighties hit for which Aussie pop star?' Paul: ' Ozzy Osbourne. ' Tipping Point, Ben Shephard: 'Beginning in 1756, in what year did the Seven Years War end?' Pete: '1649.' And Tipping Point for Soccer Aid, Ben Shephard: 'Billy and Nanny are names commonly given to the adult male and female of which farm animal?' Chris Hughes: 'Pig.' RANDOM TV IRRITATIONS THE parents of Love Island's Blu naming their son after a toilet freshener. ITN's Robert Peston trying to dress like a Mafia hitman at the G7 summit. EastEnders expecting the sort of herograms for Joel's toxic masculinity storyline it'll only ever get when it has the balls to do a Pakistani grooming gang plot (ie. never). And Love Island reaching the point of no return, on Saturday night's show, when Irish Megan, announced 'I need to shave my minge,' which was the cue for me to floss my wisdom teeth and switch off for ever. TV GOLD 6 THE Contestant episode of BBC4's Storyville detailing the exact moment TV lost its conscience forever. Matthew Goode's starring role as DCI Carl Morck on Netflix's Dept Q. Broadcasting hero Nick Ferrari eating the Government's Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Emma Reynolds, for breakfast, on LBC. Channel 4 's Night Coppers remaining eternally good-humoured in the face of feral Britain. And Neil Forsyth's The Gold, on BBC One, producing memorable performances from Joshua McGuire (Douglas Baxter), Tom Cullen, (John Palmer) and Sam Spruell as Charlie Miller who, contrary to every report I've seen, wasn't a made-up character at all but a nom de plume for a very real and very terrifying South London gangster called John Fleming. THE Chase, Bradley Walsh: ' is a website mainly dedicated to what football. . .' 'Team?' Oh. LOOKALIKE OF THE WEEK 6 THIS week's winner is MI5's Partick Thistle-supporting Director General Ken McCallum and Sue Perkins. Emailed in by Francis Harvey. PAUL MERSON: 'The top four will be Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle and Forest.' Sue Smith: 'Sometimes you don't remember memories.' And Rio Ferdinand: 'When things get uncomfortable Inter Milan are always comfortable.' (Compiled by Graham Wray)

Dua Lipa sets pulses racing in a sheer black lace mini dress as she greets fans at the opening of her merchandise pop-up shop in London
Dua Lipa commanded attention as she arrived at her exclusive merchandise pop-up shop in London on Thursday. The pop sensation, 29, stunned in a black sheer lace mini dress that flaunted her incredible figure, paired with a black bra and hotpants. She elevated her sizzling look with sleek black boots and carried a stylish leopard print bag. Appearing in high spirits, Dua greeted fans outside the venue to mark the launch of the limited-time pop-up - a four-day immersive experience celebrating her music and upcoming summer stadium shows. Presented by American Express, the event runs from June 19-22 at Protein Studios in London. Fans can explore exclusive merchandise, interactive photo moments, and a bar serving Dua's favourite drink. The pop-up also offers a unique opportunity to experience her album Radical Optimism using cutting-edge L-ISA Immersive Sound technology. It comes after it was reported that Dua has 'lined up' two huge British pop stars to support her at her upcoming 'monumental' Wembley Stadium gigs. The singer said to have approached Charli XCX and Raye to open her shows on June 20 and 21, ahead of their upcoming Glastonbury performances. A source told The Sun: 'These two Wembley shows are monumental for Dua and she wants to give her fans an extra treat. 'Her team has approached Raye to open Friday's show, while Charli is in talks to perform on Saturday. 'Dua, Raye and Charli are all super supportive of each other and it would be amazing to have these three British female powerhouses playing Wembley. 'With Glastonbury the week after, this is the perfect warm-up for Raye and Charli too as they'll be playing to almost 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.' Although guests are yet to be confirmed, Dove Cameron and Alessi Rose will be supporting the singer for her Wembley shows. MailOnline has contacted Dua's representatives for comment. Dua was initially set to play just one show at the London venue on Friday 20 June 2025, as part of her Radical Optimism tour. But due to the phenomenal demand, the pop star will be staying in the English capital for a second night to put on another performance on Saturday June 21. And those who have bagged tickets to the highly-anticipated shows are in luck as the hitmaker is planning to get up close and personal with her fans when she plays at Wembley Stadium. The Illusion hitmaker is set to jump off the main stage and walk the full length of the crowd in a similar manner to her Glastonbury headline performance last year. And in her personal life, Dua revealed she would 'love' to have children with her fiancé Callum Turner after announcing their engagement. The singer publicly shared her excitement for the first time since the actor, 35, got down on one knee. The hitmaker posed for the front cover of British Vogue where she looked stunning in a pale pink bra that highlighted her jaw-dropping figure. In the interview, Dua discussed her family plans, saying she's concerned how having children will fit in with her career as a pop star. 'I'd love to have kids one day,' she said. 'But it's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time – how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I'd have to take. 'I think it's just one of those things that's going to happen when it happens. I love kids, but I think there's so much more to raising a child than just loving children.' Confirming their engagement, Dua said: 'Yeah we're engaged. It's very exciting. 'This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever — it's a really special feeling.' Late last year, news of their romantic proposal emerged and Dua has regularly been seen with a dazzling diamond ring on her finger. Speaking of their wedding plans, Dua said she hopes to finish her tour and Callum to wrap up filming before they tie the knot. While the wedding hasn't been at the forefront of her mind amid her busy schedule touring, she did admit she has started to think about her dress. She said: 'I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period. 'I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I'm like: 'Oh, what would I wear?'' Dua said she's 'obsessed' with her engagement ring, before insisting 'It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.' Dua and Callum were first linked in January 2024 and reportedly got engaged over Christmas in 2024. 'I think it's just one of those things that's going to happen when it happens. I love kids, but I think there's so much more to raising a child than just loving children.' Dua and Callum had 'many Sliding Doors moments', where they were in the same place at the same time without realising, before being introduced to one another at the River Cafe in London. A year later, she was having dinner in Los Angeles with her friend Mustafa the Poet when 'all of a sudden' Callum appeared. She thought: 'Oh, it's that really hot guy from The River Cafe.' During their conversation, the pair realised they both 'just happened to be reading' Hernan Diaz's novel Trust. Asked if she feels they were destined to be together, she replied: 'One thousand per cent.' Dua and Callum first sparked romance rumours in January 2024 when they both attended a Masters Of The Air afterparty in London.

Kim Turnbull shows ex Romeo Beckham what he is been missing as she shares a sizzling gym snap
Kim Turnbull has showed ex Romeo Beckham what he has been missing as she shared a sizzling gym picture to Instagram on Thursday. The model, 24, dated the son of Victoria and David Beckham, 22, for seven months before recently calling it quits. And she has now taken to her social media to showcase her toned physique as she shared a mirror selfie with her followers. Kim looked incredible in the picture as she wore a matching black and white Alo gym set which consisted of shorts and a sports bra. To acessorise, the beauty finished her gym ensemble with a matching cap and gold jewellery. In another snap Kim switched it up and changed into a black T-shirt and trousers with straps for an Epulsive session. Kim has recently broken her silence on the claims she dated Romeo's brother Brooklyn when they were teenagers. She shot down accusations that she was romantically involved with Brooklyn, 26. Kim has been at the centre of claims she was the reason behind a rift between the two brothers, who are currently embroiled in a wider family feud. She has now addressed the speculation for the first time and insisted she has only ever had a friendship with the eldest Beckham son. Sharing a statement on her Instagram page on Monday, she said: 'I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. 'I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative. 'I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. 'Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.' Kim had been at the centre of the row after Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz, 30, claimed that she felt uncomfortable around her, with sources close to the US heiress saying that Kim had dated Brooklyn when they were teenagers. Which she had now denied. Things came to a head when Brooklyn and Nicola were no shows at any of David's 50th birthday celebrations last month, with The Mail revealing that Kim has been made the 'scapegoat' in the feud. Brooklyn and his wife Nicola failed to attend any of football legend David's five celebrations to mark his milestone birthday, including celebrations in Miami, London, Paris the Cotswolds and a boys fishing trip to Scotland. Among the various conspiracy theories that sprung up to explain Brooklyn and Nicola's repeated no-shows, some centred on Kim. Kim, is the well-heeled granddaughter of renowned post-war sculptor and painter William Turnbull, while her father Alex Turnbull and uncle Johnny were part of the post-punk band 23 Skidoo, formed in 1979. She dated Madonna and Guy Ritchie's son Rocco, and through that connection was part of a tightknit friendship group in 2016 which included Brooklyn. Kim and Brooklyn were undeniably close for a brief period – as photographs of them together at the time show - but suggestions that they were ever an item are wide of the mark. That Kim has now been 'thrown to the wolves' as the reason behind the family row is 'deeply upsetting' to Brooklyn's parents and brothers. US website TMZ wrote at the time: 'Sources say Brooklyn and Nicola were told to show up to the main celebrations or they wouldn't get a chance to see the family... leaving the two saddened because they simply won't be around Brooklyn's brother Romeo and his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.' 'Sources' also told the news outlet that Nicola can't stand to be in Kim's company. Following their split, friends say that things remain 'amicable' between the Romeo and ex Kim, and that their parting is 'nothing to do' with Kim being blamed by Nicola for being the catalyst for the feud that has ripped the Beckham family apart. One said: 'Romeo and Kim are both young and they had a lovely time together but at that age things don't always last forever and they decided to split up. 'They have been friendly since and have even been at the same venues. It's a huge shame, particularly as David and Victoria really adored her and thought she made Romeo happy but it wasn't to be. 'It happened a couple of weeks ago and relations have remained friendly between them. 'David and Victoria would hate for the view to be that they split because of Nicola and Brooklyn because that simply isn't the case. 'The fact is that Kim has got a really busy career as a DJ and Romeo has a busy work life too, there is lots of travelling for both of them at having a relationship at this time isn't all that conducive to their lives.' Romeo and Kim were spotted at the trendy C restaurant in London's Mayfair last month but they had already split. They both turned up at the venue separately, with their friends, and even left together. Kim attended several of David's birthday celebrations. She was present at the former England captain's party at the end of March at Cipriani restaurant in Miami. She also joined David, Victoria, and Romeo's younger brother Cruz, his girlfriend Jackie Apostel and sister Harper on their trip to France where they visited a vineyard in Bordeaux and a restaurant in Paris. Kim was also at the big dinner at Core restaurant in Notting Hill, West London. But the tensions between Nicola and the Beckham family existed long before Kim and Romeo started dating in November last year. In fact, they stretch back over three years, to Brooklyn and Nicola's lavish £3million wedding, on Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022. 'Some felt that Nicola was absolutely foul in the run up to the wedding and on the day,' said one source involved in the fall out. 'And now it seems she is trying to suggest it is all Kim's fault. 'She was rude to Victoria, she shunned other members of the Beckham family and now it appears she wants to blame it all on Kim, which is just nasty. It is like they are trying to rewrite history. 'Nicola and her family organised her and Brooklyn's big day and they managed to upset so many people who were there. It was terribly upsetting for David, Victoria and other members of their family. It was difficult at the time but it is devastating now.' The insider claimed Nicola's behaviour at the wedding changed David and Victoria's perception of their new daughter-in-law. 'That was when the Beckhams realised that it was not going to be easy being part of [Nicola's] super-rich family. Some people felt that Nicola was vile. The Beckham gang just adore Brooklyn and wanted to be part of it all. 'Now Nicola is singling Kim out and seems to be making it her fault but she only started dating Romeo last November. Relations have been strained since the wedding and there has been much concern for Brooklyn ever since.'
