What they say
Ospreys head coach Mark Jones said: This is a big fixture for us. We feel like we need to get some good points out of this game [to make the top eight] but, first and foremost, we need to put in a good performance."We're really excited by what's on the line for both teams at Judgement Day and by what a result could set up for the next three URC games that follow."Head coach Matt Sherratt said: "Judgement Day is always a great occasion. The Principality is the home of rugby in Wales and you have four Welsh teams, stacked with Welsh talent playing in one day."There's an extra bit of spice this year because the league table is so tight. Ourselves, Ospreys and Scarlets are right in the fight for the top eight."We know each other pretty well and as with all derbies, it will be a one off occasion. But they are a quality team, who have added to their game through the season and have enjoyed some good form in recent weeks, so it will be a big challenge but it is one we are excited for."

Callum Osmand can be Celtic punisher as Marco Silva gives Brendan Rodgers the key to unlock potential
Osmand is set to join the Premiership champions from Fulham as the Hoops take advantage of cross border transfers yet again Marco Silva has told Celtic how to get the best out of incoming new signing Callum Osmand. The Fulham starlet is set to follow in Moussa Dembele 's footsteps and make the move from Craven Cottage to Parkhead as the Premiership champions once again take advantage of cross border transfers for Under 21 payers. They will land the 19-year-old for training compensation and the Welsh youth international is understood to have already completed his Hoops medical. Cottagers boss Marco Silva rates Osmand highly, and promoted him to train with the first team and take his place on the bench towards the end of last season, although he wasn't given an English Premier League run out. And if the Portuguese's comments on Osmand are anything to go by, he will be disappointed to lose him, although the reason for leaving is exactly what Silva said the youngster needed after bringing him into the top team fold at Fulham. And he reckons a strike partner will allow Brendan Rodgers to see Osmand at his full potential further down the line. 'It's not his first time he's been with us," said Silva towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign. "Last season, he had some sessions with us, pre-season too, and the beginning of the season. "He is much more mobile [than a traditional centre forward], let's see if he is going to have a chance or not to play some minutes, but he is going to have a chance to train much more with us, to be much more involved with the first team. 'He needs more senior football in his legs to see how he can adapt, perform. He's got the profile that I like. When he has a chance, he can punish the opposition. "I can see the talent, in a position that is very difficult to play in the Premier League. Probably if you play another striker by his side … you will take the best from him. Let's hope we can help him to be ready for the Premier League.'

Mixed emotions in Wales camp after fightback ends in defeat
Wales recovered from conceding three goals in the opening 27 minutes of their World Cup qualifier in Brussels on Monday to draw level in the second half through Harry Wilson, Sorba Thomas and Brennan Johnson. But Kevin De Bruyne's late volley eventually saw Wales lose 4-3 – the first defeat of the Craig Bellamy era – and leaves the Dragons with an uphill battle to top the group and qualify automatically for next summer's World Cup. Until the end. Yma o Hyd ♥️ — Wales 🏴 (@Cymru) June 9, 2025 'Obviously there's frustrations, our mentality is to win every game,' said Leeds captain Ampadu. 'We were very disappointed with the first half and the manner in which we conceded the goals. That's not really us. 'But to show the character to fight and come back, it is something Wales has shown for many years. 'We're proud of how we came back and the determination we showed. Belgium's Kevin De Bruyne netted a late winner (PA) 'We gave ourselves a lot to come back to. We kind of got there, but we didn't finish it off. 'There's still a long way to go, a lot of points to play for and games to go out there and win.' Wales will resume their World Cup campaign away to Kazakhstan in September, one point behind new Group J leaders North Macedonia. Group favourites Belgium, ranked eighth in the world, are three points behind Wales with two games in hand and visit Cardiff in October. Midfielder Jordan James said: 'I think teams will watch this and fear us because it was a good performance. 'Against many big teams, the opposition sit back and protect the goal. 'We know we're good enough and have got the players to hurt teams. 'Sometimes they were able to get through because they've got top players, but when you do put teams under pressure, you see what can happen. 'We didn't give up (at 3-0 down) and a lot of nations would have given up. 'That's in our DNA. The game is never over. Even at 30 minutes, we know we've got ages left. If they can score three, we can score three. 'It's madness when you're involved in a game like that. You've got to try and keep a level head, but it's a hard one to take.'

Manager search delay shows owner's 'contempt', says Supporters' Trust
Cardiff City Supporters' Trust (CCST) has accused owner Vincent Tan of treating the club's fanbase with "contempt" over what the fans' body says is an "intolerable" delay and lack of communication over the appointment of a new had three different managers as they were relegated from the Championship this season and are now looking for a ninth boss in four Bulut was fired in September and his successor Omar Riza received his marching orders in April. Aaron Ramsey was appointed Cardiff interim manager for the final three games of the 2024-25 Championship season but was unable to keep them from club said in May that it would trial a new process to appoint the next manager, by assembling a sub-committee, and were hopeful of appointing a new boss by the end of that with the process now dragging on towards the middle of June, CCST issued a statement expressing its concern."Time is moving on, critical pre-season decisions need to be made in terms of the squad which cannot happen without a manager," read the statement."It is as long ago as 19 April that Omer Riza was relieved of his duties and 3 May was the final game of the season and it is 10 June that this communication is being written with still no sign of an appointment. "As the ultimate power within the club does Vincent Tan have a sense of urgency?"The club may say that there is no reason to panic but it is fair to say that the fanbase view the situation with some concern and anger. "That fact that there has been a deafening silence from the club has not been helpful... we are led to believe that the current state of inertia/indecision is purely down to the owner [Tan] and... [chief executive] Ken Choo."The statement continued: "This situation is intolerable and only serves to demonstrate the contempt the owner holds the fanbase in."We have no idea where we are in the process. Are the experts employed to assist in the job of finding a new manager still in the building? Are they continuing to advise? We hope they are but we just don't know."We will continue to liaise with the club to try and urge them to improve communication as fans deserve to be treated better."
