PM's meeting with Trump will be his opportunity to ‘represent' Australia's interests
Industry Minister Tim Ayres discusses the confirmation of a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on the sidelines of the G7 Summit.
'It's not unusual for these kinds of meetings to be confirmed on the run – there's an enormous amount of logistics and challenges that go into these international meetings,' Mr Ayres told Sky News Australia.
'It will be an opportunity for the Prime Minister to represent Australia's interests.'
