Zarina Wahab reveals she isn't hurt by husband Aditya Pancholi's affairs; Says, 'I don't suffer, I love myself'

Zarina Wahab
often reflects on her unique inter-faith marriage to actor
Aditya Pancholi
, who is five years her junior. The couple's whirlwind romance began when they met on a film set and decided to marry just two weeks later. Zarina shared the story behind their instant connection and rapid decision to wed. She recalled a touching moment on set when Aditya, despite his charming appearance, was overcome with emotion and tears, prompting the film crew to pause shooting for the day.
The Instant Connection and Quick Wedding
Talking to Nayandeep Rakshit, the actress shared, 'We got married within 15-20 days of meeting each other. We were working on Nari Hari film. This was the time I met him. He was a very good looking boy. He had a scene to shoot, where he had to cry. He started to cry and didn't stop at all. We even had to stop the shooting for that day. We sat in the same car when I held his hand and told him 'don't cry'. At that time, he held my hand tighter and within 15 days we got married. Everybody said, she has married such a good looking man, he will leave her in a week. And look, its been 38 years.'
Rumours and Zarina's Perspective on Aditya's Affairs
Following their marriage, rumours frequently emerged about the actor's involvement with various co-stars and industry figures, including speculations about a relationship with
Kangana Ranaut
. Although Zarina acknowledged that Aditya sometimes wandered away from their marriage, she has consistently maintained that it never caused her emotional pain.
Accountability in Relationships
Zarina stated that holding only the married man accountable while absolving the woman involved in the relationship is unfair. She said, 'People think I am very stressed. They simply assume that 'she must be unhappy because Aditya is seeing this and that girl' nobody says, 'Yeh ladki dekh rahi hai inko'. That's wrong. This is all a phase which comes and goes. I never take these phases seriously as I know he will never get serious with anyone else as he loves me a lot.'
Handling Rumours with Strength
When questioned about whether the rumors ever affected her mood, Zarina responded without hesitation. She admitted, 'I used to feel a little bad when I used to read affair rumours, but then I also laughed at them. I don't care what he does outside, but when he enters the house, he is an excellent father and husband. And that's all matters to me. I would have felt bad if only he brought his affairs home. A lot of men have affairs and still run a family. If I will start taking these things too seriously, and start fighting over it then I will suffer. I don't want to suffer, I love myself.'
Independence and Commitment
She added, 'I am very independent. Even If I had to live alone, I have money and properties in my name, but in reality I never thought of leaving him. We never discussed this.'
Aditya Pancholi's Controversies
Aditya Pancholi frequently made headlines due to his alleged extramarital relationship with
Pooja Bedi
, the daughter of
Kabir Bedi
. Early in her career, actress Kangana Ranaut was also rumoured to have been involved with him.

Tenali Rama's Aditya Redij reveals who ignited his love for acting; says ‘Shah Rukh Khan's journey has always inspired me'

Aditya Redij, currently seen playing the regal and wise King Krishnadevaraya in Tenali Rama, recently opened up about his beginnings in acting—and the icon who inspired him to dream big. Known for his strong screen presence and layered performances, Aditya shared how acting wasn't something he actively pursued at first—it found him. 'Acting found me before I found it,' he said. 'I was always drawn to storytelling—whether on stage or in front of the camera. What cemented my decision was the joy I felt every time I slipped into a new character. That feeling was addictive—it made me want to dive deeper into the craft.' The turning point in his aspirations, however, came from watching Bollywood's King Khan rise through the ranks. 'Shah Rukh Khan's journey has always inspired me. He came from a non-filmy background, faced struggles, yet carved a place for himself with sheer talent and hard work,' Aditya shared. What resonated with Aditya most was SRK's iconic transition from television to the big screen. 'His transition from TV to films was proof that dreams can come true if you stay focused and believe in yourself. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Watching him succeed gave hope to many of us who started on similar paths.' 'As an actor, I believe you have to experiment; you have to try different things out,' Aditya explained. 'Ek hi cheez try kar kar ke monotonous ho jaata hai. That's the reason I've been doing different genres. After this, I think I've covered almost all genres—except horror! I believe in exploring roles that are fictional, fantasy, drama, action, and now comedy with Tenali Rama.' As King Krishnadevaraya, he brings a mix of intellect, authority, and warmth—qualities that reflect both his dedication to his craft and the inspirational trail set by the legends before him.

Aditya Roy Kapur says he doesn't understand ‘situationship', calls himself ‘old school' as he lists out red flag behaviour: ‘Someone who has a prison record'

Anurag Basu directed Metro In Dino's trailer was released in Mumbai on Wednesday. At the film's grand trailer launch event in Mumbai, the actors opened up about the lessons they have learnt from love. Aditya Roy Kapur shared his take on terms used to describe relationships, and Sara Ali Khan also shared that she does not believe in things like 'situationships.' Aditya and Sara shared their take on terms like situationship, benching, breadcrumbing. Aditya said, 'I don't even understand what the term situationship means, I am old school like that.' Sara added, 'To each their own, but I don't believe in situationship or any others.' Aditya also spoke on red flags and green flags in a relationship and said, 'For me, a red flag would be someone who has gotten a prison record. If they land up in your hall with suitcases, it might be a problem. And someone being kind is a green flag for me. That is important because if you are planning to see someone for a long time and end up being in all kinds of situations, but if they are kind its a green flag.' Fatima Sana Shaikh joked and told SCREEN, 'Bohot dard diye hai pyaar ne. (Love has given too much pain.)' Konkona Sensharma added, 'You have to be prepared for an element of risk. Life is uncertain, you have to embrace it. It's just like the box office.' Sara Ali Khan added, 'Sometimes, I struggle with going with flow, and like Konkona ma'am said, you have to just go in blind and hope for the best.' Sharing her take on love, Neena Gupta added, 'I have grown quite old, still I don't seem to know what love is. The only kind of love I know is between a parent and child.' Director Anurag Basu remembered late actor Irrfan Khan and singer KK during the event. He said, 'The whole film is, in fact, a tribute to both KK and Irrfan. We all miss them. I was just telling Bhushanji today that it was KK who beautifully complimented Pritam's compositions. KK has sung in all my movies, so obviously I miss him.' Metro In Dino also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, and Ali Fazal in lead roles. The film is slated to release on July 4.
