Britney Spears is fiercely slammed for filming her 18-year-old son participating in shock act while driving

Daily Mail4 hours ago

Britney Spears has been slammed for posting a video of her son Jayden appearing to use his phone while driving.
Over the weekend, the 43-year-old singer uploaded a video of her youngest child, 18, behind the wheel of a convertible, with the two of them enjoying some mother-and-son time together.
In the clip, Britney sat in the passenger seat while her son drove them around with the top down.
At one point, Britney panned the camera to show Jayden behind the wheel - but many viewers were left outraged that the teen was seen holding his phone and looking down to check it while driving.
Clearly thrilled to be spending time with Jayden, the Toxic songstress also stroked his hair while he had his eyes on the road.
Captioning the clip, which was set to Lenny Kravitz 's hit Fly Away, Britney gushed: 'He is fix-foot-three and his hands are so big now!
'How long am I going to be in shock? It's so incredibly crazy, it's not even funny! I'm blessed! Just please be careful with my heart too!'
Eagle-eyed social media users were furious to see that Jayden appeared to be pre-occupied while driving and called out both mother and son for being 'distracted.'
Taking to Reddit, one social media user said: 'These are screenshots from the video as he's driving down the road with Britney in the passenger seat…
'Britney, once again, needs a "mother of the year" award for being so stupid as to let her son do this AND post the evidence for the world to see.'
'Not good Brit,' another replied. 'Not good. No one had eyes on the road.'
A third pointed out: 'The touching his hair while he's driving is also dangerous.'
While it is unclear which state Britney and Jayden were travelling in, in California, where she lives, it's generally illegal to hold a cell phone while driving, except for emergencies.
Drivers 18 and older can use hands-free devices like Bluetooth or speakerphone but cannot cover both ears.
Britney shares sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2007.
The singer reunited with both her children in November after almost three years apart.

Over Christmas, Britney called Jayden her 'twin' as she proudly shared snaps of him on Instagram.
Alongside a trio of images showing off her youngest son, Britney said: 'Mine forever!
'It's weird we're like twins but he's a boy and I'm a girl! He's mine I hadn't seen him in two-and-a-half years or maybe three. I'm in shock!'
She continued: 'He came back and he feels older and smarter than me! He's a man and I cry everyday of my life because of the miracle and genius he is! When he plays the whole earth shakes!'
The images featured Jayden on what looked like a hike, wearing a red t-shirt and oversized blue jeans.
A month before, in November 2024, a source revealed to Page Six that Britney had reunited with Jayden after years of estrangement.
At the time, the insider shared that they had been 'spending a lot of time together.'
However, Sean Preston was still in Hawaii at the time of the reunion.
'Britney is thrilled to have her baby back. Everything is moving in the right direction,' the source stated.
Jayden reportedly reached out to his mother and an insider also told Us Weekly that he 'is spending time back in California but does not live with Britney.'

A New York judge has dismissed Justin Baldoni's $400m (£295m) defamation lawsuit against his former co-star Blake Lively. The pair, who both starred in the 2024 film It Ends with Us, have been locked in a legal battle for several months, with a trial set for next year. Judge Lewis Liman on Monday dismissed Baldoni's countersuit, which alleged extortion, defamation and other allegations. Baldoni brought the suit after Lively filed a legal complaint last year against her former co-star, accusing him of sexual harassment and starting a smear campaign against her. Tanks roll into DC for Trump's massive $45 million show of military force on Army's 250th birthday

Tons of military hardware can be seen rolling into Washington, D.C., for a massive parade celebrating the Army's 250th anniversary on Donald Trump 's birthday. Dozens of tanks, Bradley fighting vehicles, along with Strykers and other armored vehicles will all be part of the show of strength in the Nation's capital. Footage released by the Army shows a long line of military vehicles heading toward the nation's capital by commercial rail – with one shot showing the Washington Monument in the background. The images were shot from above by helicopter, providing stunning overhead views as the lethal materiel rumbles across DC's Anacostia River. Another shot shows the city's Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in the background. The new video revealing the scope of the equipment being mustered comes as Trump deployed 300 California National Guard troops to Los Angeles amid protests and mayhem there despite opposition from Gov. Gavin Newsom, who said it would escalate the situation. Trump ordered the arrest of everyone wearing face masks and called to 'bring in the troops' to L.A. Local authorities in Washington have already warned of the damage that 60 ton tanks could do to Washington's roads, at a time when it is struggling to preserve federal funding. The White House says the cost of the parade will be between $25 million and $45 million, at a time when the Department of Government Efficiency formerly associated with Elon Musk has been slashing contracts in search of $1 trillion in cuts. The Army posted its video with the comment: 'Right on schedule!' with a stopwatch emoji. 'Equipment arrives for our 250th Birthday Festival & parade on 14 June at the National Mall. Stay tuned to Army social media all week for more news on preparations!' The event is also set to include flyovers, fireworks, and a concert. The Army has released information on the array of equipment that the parade will feature – M1A2 Abrams tanks, UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, and the Paladin, a self-propelled Howitzer. Strykers, Infantry Squad Vehicles, and Joint Light Tactical Vehicles will also be on display, along with powerful M777 lightweight howitzers. Apache and Chinook helicopters will also be on display. Part of the parade route will run down Constitution Avenue just south of the White House with a 'birthday festival location' on the National Mall. Trump returned to the White House from Camp David Monday, where he confirmed the location of another project that will put his mark on the White House. 'We're putting a flagpole over there - under budget,' Trump said, as a construction excavator dug a hole on the South Lawn. Trump has said he is personally funding two 100 foot flag poles at the White House.
