AOC viewed positively by more Americans than Trump or Harris, poll finds
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is more well-liked than President Donald Trump, former President Joe Biden, and former Vice President Kamala Harris, according to a new poll.
Despite the fact that Ocasio-Cortez can be polarizing even within her own party, she is still more popular than most currently active U.S. politicians, Newsweek reports.
Data released on Friday by data intelligence company AtlasIntel found that Ocasio-Cortez ranked third most popular on its survey of political popularity, and she was one of only three leaders with a net positive image.
The congresswoman was beat only by former President Barack Obama and his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Ocasio-Cortez had a positivity rating of 46 percent, with 44 percent of respondents saying they have a negative view of her, and another 10 percent saying they were unsure.
That left her with a net positivity rating of two points, according to the poll.
Barack Oabama was viewed positively by 53 percent of respondents compared to the 43 percent who view him negatively, and Michelle Obama was viewed in a positive light by 49 percent of respondents and negatively by 45 percent.
The Obamas may benefit somewhat from the fact that neither of them are in any official leadership role in the government at the moment.
Ocasio-Cortez, however, is, an active and vocal member of Congress. Since Trump's re-election and the unique threats of DOGE, Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Bernie Sanders have been touring to "rally against oligarchy."
Their events have drawn massive crowds in cities across the country.
The poll included responses from 3,469 participants and had a margin of error of plus or minus.2 percentage points with a 95 percent confidence level.
The survey that served as the foundation for the results was conducted between May 21, 2025 and May 27, 2025.
Ocasio-Cortez has been quiet about her further political aspirations, but has been urged by some supporters to consider a 2028 presidential run.
During an interview with Fox News in April, Ocasio-Cortex refused to speculate and said she wanted to focus on current issues.
"This moment isn't about campaigns, or elections, or about politics. It's about making sure people are protected, and we've got people that are getting locked up for exercising their First Amendment rights," she said at the time. "We're getting 2-year-olds that are getting deported into cells in Honduras. We're getting people that are about to get kicked off of Medicaid. That, to me, is most important."
Monica Crowley, a former Treasury Department official during the first Trump administration, told Fox News in November that GOP politicos would do well to not underestimate Ocasio-Cortez.
"Just a word of warning to the Republicans, to my party: Do not underestimate AOC. She's young, she's vibrant, she's attractive," Crowley said.

With the staff dressed in iconic, hard-yakka-inspired blue collared shirts and rugby polos, the pub wouldn't look out of place in The Rocks or at the end of Collins Street. The investors also include Andy Stone (Bluestone Lane), Pat Cummins, Ash Barty, Mick Fanning and Patty Mills. It comes after Lee recently revealed how a tribute to Jackman in his pub went horribly wrong. Speaking to Nine Entertainment in May, the funnyman revealed that he wanted to place secret nods to the backers on the walls of the pub. 'I asked them what's their favourite pub in Australia, their favourite drink?' he said. 'There's little nods to all of them. Everyone's favourite pub in Australia is framed and hanging on the wall.' However, Jackman's tribute did not last the first full day of trading, falling victim to a workplace accident. 'Unfortunately we smashed Jackman's on day one accidentally,' Andy admitted. 'It was hanging above the register and one of the employees walked around the corner and knocked it off and smashed the glass!' The Hundred host did reveal however that Hugh's favourite place to grab a beer Down Under is the iconic Sydney watering hole The Oaks Hotel in Neutral Bay. The iconic Goodyear Blimp is 100. To celebrate, a flight over Ohio
The iconic Goodyear airships are taking a victory lap over the skies of an Ohio city this week. The Akron-based tire company is celebrating the 100th anniversary of 'Pilgrim,' its first blimp to take flight just outside of the city on June 3, 1925. Goodyear began experimenting with vessels that would be lighter than aircraft in the early 1900s, and the dirigibles have since become a lasting and iconic symbol of the corporate brand. For some, it evokes nostalgia, while for others it offers a glimpse into a larger-than-life part of advertisement history. Here is a by-the-numbers look at Goodyear airships over time: 1910 Goodyear establishes an Aeronautics Department to build lighter-than-air aircrafts, and by 1912 the company had built its first balloon. In 1930, the 'Defender' blimp became the first airship in the world to carry a lit neon sign so the company's name could be seen after dark. Goodyear began making airships for the U.S. Navy in 1917, and its first blimp — the first commercial non-rigid airship flown using helium — launched years later, becoming a marketing tool. From 1942 to 1944, the company built more than 150 airships for the Navy to serve in World War II, flying patrol over warships on the seas with zero reported loss of ships when a blimp was on watch. New Year's Day 1955 The Goodyear Blimp has been a regular at major sporting events since flying above the 1955 Rose Bowl. To serve in that job, you must have a commercial pilot license followed by approximately 250 hours of training to earn an additional lighter-than-air airship rating from the Federal Aviation Administration. 2,500 and 500,000 The blimp has covered more than 2,500 events and taken more than 500,000 passengers for rides, according to Goodyear. Diddy's attorney Brian Steel showed the jury the resume Mia presented before she was hired as Diddy's personal assistant. Mia said on the resume that she had previously 'handled all unique requests' for Mike Myers. She said she once set up 'a private and confidential tour of the CIA by corresponding with Secret Service agents and government officials.' Mia told the court last week that she worked for Myers - as well as Harvey Weinstein's ex-wife Georgina Chapman - before she was employed by Diddy. Myers famously visited the CIA headquarters in 2009, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. The Canadian comedian toured the CIA's museum and had lunch with some agents, telling them he was grateful for their service. Myers also paid tribute to his mother during his visit; she was in the British Royal Air Force during World War II and held a security clearance.
