Marek Zaprazny might not be from Barcelona, but he clearly knows his way around this skate-friendly city. Skateboarding in Barcelona is a beautiful thing and this clip will definitely have you itching to get out there sooner than later. Great spots. Great scene. Great food. Tag along with Marek and press play:
From his local shop to his favorite warm-up plaza, the day starts out cool and calm. But it's Marek we're talking about here, so you know the session heats up quick. No ledge in that plaza is safe. And what would a session in Barcy be without a proper acai bowl to add some fuel to the day? The boxes are being checked.

From there, Marek pulls up to (what once was) one of Barcelona's most iconic skate spots—Sants Plaza—that was unfortunately demolished earlier this year. But our guy makes use of the last remaining spot the plaza has to offer and secures a few clips in the meantime. (Tap the post below to learn more.)

Marek ends the day at a dope little three block—a spot he hadn't skated yet—and proceeds to stack a few more clips while dodging pedestrians and playing kids. Actually, let's be real—he destroys the spot, rifling off trick after trick like it was a normal-sized three-stair.

All in all, it looked like a pretty successful day for Marek, if you ask me. And honestly, I like that this wasn't just your average tour of Barcelona skateboarding, you know? MACBA and all the iconic spots the city has to offer are great, but there's so much more to skate that many of us often don't get to see.

🔎 The Debrief as Man City and Juve cruise whilst Trent struggles on debut

The first round of group games were completed overnight with all 32 teams now having played once. Here's what happened. You can sign up to DAZN to watch every FIFA Club World Cup game for free. What happened? 📝 Manchester City got their tournament underway with a fairly routine 2-0 win over Moroccan giants Wydad. First half goals from Phil Foden and Jeremy Doku were enough to hand Pep Guardiola's side all three points. Advertisement Xabi Alonso and Simone Inzaghi then took their debut bows in the Real Madrid and Al Hilal dugouts respectively, with the Saudi side holding the European giants to a 1-1 draw. Red Bull Salzburg took advantage of those dropped points as they scored late on to beat Pachuca 2-1 and go top of Group H. The final game of the evening saw Juventus run out comfortable 5-0 winners over Qatari club Al Ain, with Randal Kolo Muani and Francisco Conceição both getting doubles. Player of the day 🔥 📸 Dan Mullan - 2025 Getty Images Al Hilal goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, otherwise known as 'Bono', was outstanding as he helped secure a point against Real Madrid. Advertisement The Moroccan shot-stopper was equalled to six shots that Los Blancos fired his way, including a 92nd minute penalty from Federico Valverde. Stat of the Day 📊 Xabi Alonso joined a select group of Real Madrid coaches who drew their first game in charge of the capital club. What this means 🤔 Barring any major surprises, it looks as if Group G is all wrapped up with Juventus and Manchester City leading the way there. The two European behemoths meet on June 26 in Orlando for what looks like a direct shoot-out as to who will finish top there. In Group H, it's Salzburg who lead the way with Al Hilal and Real Madrid tussling out for second. Advertisement A shock in Los Blancos' next game against Pachuca on June 22 would really open things up. What they said 🗣️ Manchester City goalscorer Phil Foden admitted he was struggling with the Philadelphia heat during his side's win over Wydad: "I'm very happy for the team to start the tournament with a win. It was difficult at times with the heat. They were a top team on the counter-attacks. The tournament is very important, not just for me, but all the players. It is important to get your sharpness now in this big competition." Xabi Alonso was critical of his Real Madrid side after their draw with Al Hilal: ""It's a mixed bag of feelings. It's a pity we weren't able to get the win. I didn't really enjoy our performance in the first half, to be honest. We played better in the second. We were more balanced and handled the ball better. I'll take that with me . We tried to play very fast in the first half and lost the ball a lot." Advertisement Juventus boss Igor Tudor insisted there was still room for improvement despite his team's 5-0 victory: "We started really well. In the second half, I was still saying to slow down a bit because it's hot, to try to maybe manage a bit more. There, we could have done better, but yeah, it's an important result because this team has a lot of quality. It has interesting players." What's next? 👀 There are four more games later today with Groups A and B really starting to take shape. Palmeiras will take on Al Ahly in New Jersey whilst Inter Miami travel up to Atlanta for their match with Porto. Football transfer rumours: will Gyökeres force a move to Arsenal or Manchester United?

Viktor Gyökeres may or may not have spat the dummy out after reportedly refusing to hold clear-the-air talks with Sporting over his desire to move. Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with the Sweden international but the Portuguese side want a wheelbarrow full of cash for his services, which is putting off potential suitors. Gyökeres wants the club to lower their demands but if the striker does not get what he wants, then he could go on strike to really show his employer who is boss. In a further blow to Arsenal, the Athletic Club winger Nico Williams has told anyone who will listen that he only wants to join Barcelona this summer. It is now up to Barça to look down the back of the sofa for the cash to pay for him. If the Spain international does head from the Basque Country to Catalonia, it will end any chance of Marcus Rashford joining the Spanish champions. Rashford might need to turn to Italy where Napoli, Milan and Como are interested in helping him escape from Manchester United. The king of cutting in from the left and scoring has a year remaining on his City Ground contract, something the Tricky Trees will be eager to change with United and Napoli considering a bid or two. Another getting flirtatious glances from San Siro is Destiny Udogie. The Tottenham full-back is seen as someone who could solve a defensive issue at Milan. The Italy international started his career at Verona and spent time with Udinese, so could be lured back to his homeland after a few years on the books in north London. It is all fun and games at Craven Cottage. Fulham have shaken their head at the suits up at Elland Road, rejecting a bid of £26m with a further £6m in add-ons for Rodrigo Muniz. If Marco Silva's side do eventually find themselves needing a new striker, the USA international Ricardo Pepi could be their man. The PSV forward scored 11 in 18 last season's Eredivisie to get people interested. Advertisement Guess what? Evann Guessand could be on the move. The Nice forward is on the shortlist of potential new arrivals at Leeds but they face competition from Tottenham, who have also got on the blower to get a rough idea of price and whether the player has any interest in heading to the Premier League. Chelsea have not signed anyone for a few days, so the recruitment team will be getting itchy feet. Morgan Rogers is one person who could scratch the irritation, while Brighton's João Pedro is another the club hold an interest in. And Leicester need to formulate a cunning plan in order to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking. One player Ruud van Nistelrooy thinks might be able to help achieve his ambitions is Leeds' Sam Greenwood, who spent last season on loan at Preston.

FC Barcelona Has Another ‘Unexpected Transfer'

FC Barcelona will stand to profit from what has been dubbed an 'unexpected transfer' by the Catalan press. On Wednesday, the Blaugrana finally announced that it had secured the signing of Joan Garcia from Espanyol after paying the goalkeeper's €25 million ahead of last weekend. Though Barca is not involved in the ongoing Club World Cup where bitter rival Real Madrid drew with Neymar's former employers Al-Hilal in its opening match, Garcia is expected to slot in to Hansi Flick's first team immediately. This could speed up the departure of previous mainstay Marc-Andre ter Stegen, though he has claimed ignorance on the subject and apparently won't go quietly amid interest from Saudi Arabia and Galatasaray in Turkey. President Joan Laporta has excited fans by hinting that the club is working on its next transfer and that there could be another one after that. A Euro 2024 winner and close friend of Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams is expected to be the first port of call for Flick's left wing and can be obtained by paying another release clause which on this occasion would be a much higher $66.4 million (€58 million). 'We are about to make a signing that will be imminent and another that we are very excited about his incorporation. The fact that we are at 1-1 allows us to sign normally and we will continue in this line,' Laporta said, before an FC Barcelona Senate. Yet even though that might be the case, it is believed that Barca will still be dependent on sales to get its deals over the line. Ronald Araujo's is perhaps the most attractive potential operation out of the club given that his release clause drops to $75 million (€65 million) for the first 10 days of July as per the terms of his contract. Ansu Fati to AS Monaco on loan would also help in that it gets his high salary off the books, but that deal is stalling. Yet while FC Barcelona struggles to make sales, it continues to generate money on those of its former players. Thanks to its former reserve star Ludovit Reis signing for Clube Brugge for €6 million, it will take 25% of the transfer leaving it with a €1.5 million payment that is not exactly a windfall but still greatly welcomed in the grand scheme of things.
