The Jacksonville Beach Police Department is asking for help identifying a man accused of stealing from the Marsh Landing Parkway Target.

According to police, the pictured suspect put several items into his shopping cart and left without paying on Feb. 6.. The merchandise was valued at $1,348.99.
Surveillance video shows him leaving the parking lot in a blue Honda that was waiting for him. The license plate number is BQ647.

The suspect, a white man, was wearing a light-colored, long-sleeved shirt, tan shorts, and hat.
According to police, the suspect was seen two days later at a Jacksonville target. he was wearing nearly the same clothing.

Deputies seized 35 grams of methamphetamine, 6 lbs. of marijuana, 86 grams of psilocybin, one gun, and $5,238 in cash. Hefner is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felony possession of marijuana, and possession of a Schedule 1 substance (psilocybin). Powell also had active arrest warrants in Knox County, Tennessee. Four young people shot, one dead in Northwest Jacksonville

Three people are in the hospital, and one person is dead following a shooting in Magnolia Gardens. It happened around 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the Vista Landing Apartments on Cleveland Road. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, all of the victims are between the ages of 16 and 21. A large number of Jacksonville police officers responded to the Vista Landing Apartments on the Westside Wednesday night. Neighbors and sources tell Action News Jax that there was a shooting. Action News Jax has a crew on scene and is working to learn more information from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. The police activity is happening just two minutes away from where a shooting on Cleveland Road occurred just hours earlier.
