Arab Finance: The exchange rate of the US dollar to Egyptian pound declined during Monday's mid-session, hitting EGP 50.63 for buying and EGP 50.67 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) at 1:44 PM.
The USD traded at EGP 50.59 for purchasing and EGP 50.69 for selling at Banque Misr at 1:17 PM.
At the Commercial International Bank Egypt (CIB), the exchange rate recorded EGP 50.61 for purchasing and EGP 50.71 for selling.

Arab Finance: Egypt's Ministry of Transport has signed a new contract with Chinese shipbuilder Hantong Shipyard to construct two KAMSARMAX dry bulk vessels for the National Navigation Company, reinforcing the country's efforts to revitalize its commercial fleet and position itself as a regional logistics hub, as per a statement. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in September and November move comes in implementation of directives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to develop Egypt's role in transportation, logistics, and transit trade, and to restore the strength of the national fleet. Each of the two ships will have a total tonnage of 82,000 tons, with a length of 229 meters, width of 32.26 meters, and draft of 14.5 meters. They will be built according to the latest global environmental standards and technological specifications, including an MAN B&W engine with 7,490 kilowatts of continuous power, low-emission systems, and advanced navigation equipment. Cairo: El Attal Holding has announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Venture Lifestyle, Egypt's leading event and concert organizer, to develop the country's first winter-themed entertainment hub within the '101 project' located in 'Mostakbal City'. The project is being developed by Attal Properties, one of the group's subsidiaries, with a total investment of USD 10 million. The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Ahmed El Attal, Chairman of El Attal Holding; and RabihMokbel, CEO and Founder of Venture Lifestyle;alongside several senior executives from both entities. This step comes as part of El Attal Holding's strategy to offer a fully integrated urban experience that blends contemporary lifestyles, entertainment facilities, and hospitality services, reaffirming its commitment to redefining the concept of residential communities. It also supports the state's national vision to promote real estate exports and strengthen Egypt's position as a leading regional hub for real estate and tourism investment, in line with Egypt Vision 2030. The project will be the first Winter Entertainment Hub in Egypt, fully designed and operated by Venture Lifestyle. EFG Hermes concludes advisory on Valu's EGX listing

EFG Hermes, an EFG Holding Company, completed its advisory on the listing of U Consumer Finance (Valu) and its commencement of trading on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX). Trading under the ticker symbol VALU, the fintech company floated its shares on 23 June 2025 through an innovative in-kind dividend distribution, according to a press release. EFG Holding distributed 20.48% of Valu's share capital to its shareholders, as of the record date, 12 June 12th. Following its debut, Amazon acquired a 3.95% direct shareholding in Valu for a price per share of EGP 6.04, with the share price registering positive performance, closing at EGP 7.40 per share. Meanwhile, EFG Finance maintained to hold a 67% stake in Valu.
