Woman charged after 'XL Bully attack' leaves two people and dog injured in Fife
The dogs were taken to a vet to be euthanised.
A woman has been charged after two people were injured in an XL Bully attack at a Scots park.
Emergency services were called to Station Road in Thornton, Fife, at 6.45pm on Tuesday, April 29.
Crews attended and two people were discovered to have sustained minor injuries after attempting to separate three animals understood to be involved.
One dog was also found injured.
The canine was rushed to a nearby vet for treatment. The two other dogs involved, believed to be XL bullies, were seized by police and have since been euthanised.

Images from the scene showed multiple police vehicles in attendance.
In an update, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We can confirm that a 33-year-old female has since been charged for a number of offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and will be reported to the procurator fiscal.'
Police also said that a drugs raid was carried out at an address linked to the incident.
A 39-year-old man was charged after a quantity of class A and C drugs were found.

Community Sergeant Martyn Reidie said: 'We fully understand the concerns that are being raised in the village about the circumstances surrounding this incident.
'As a result, I will be attending the Thornton community council meeting on Monday so I can listen to these concerns directly.
'Linked to this incident, I can also confirm that on Friday, we executed a drugs search warrant at an address in Thornton.
'A quantity of class A and C drugs were found and a 39-year-old male will be reported to the procurator fiscal.
'As the community sergeant, I want you to know that we do take these things seriously and want to hear directly from you.'

Steven Jones, 35, appeared before an employment tribunal in Edinburgh on Monday, June 9, where he is suing the force for sex discrimination. Mr Jones claims his actions were unfairly labelled 'misogynistic' and that he was penalised due to Police Scotland management's concerns about the armed response unit being seen as having a 'boys' club mentality'. The tribunal heard that the incident occurred on March 1, 2024, when a video posted by Scottish singer Tallia Storm showed Mr Jones and his colleague stepping out of their marked police vehicle on Edinburgh's Cowgate to take a photo with her. In the footage, Mr Jones can be seen taking the picture while his partner poses with Storm, reports EdinburghLive. Mr Jones told the tribunal he was later 'chastised' by senior officers who described his conduct as 'misogynistic' and criticised him for stopping in a busy pedestrian and traffic area. He said the force reacted negatively due to public backlash over the video. He believes he was treated unfairly because of 'past instances of misogyny' involving other officers in the firearms unit, and that his own actions were wrongly framed in that context. He told the tribunal: "Because of the word 'misogyny,' it made me feel it was because I as a male interacting with a female that it was viewed through that lens. If a member of the other sex had that interaction, it wouldn't have happened." His solicitor, Mr Merck, referenced a previous high-profile case involving female firearms officer Rhona Malone, who received nearly £1 million in compensation after an employment tribunal ruled she had been victimised by the force on the basis of her sex. I was extremely upset and shocked because I knew I had to disclose to my partner what I had been accused of and explain to my family." At the time of the incident, Mr Jones and his colleague were on "parliament duty," patrolling areas around the Scottish Parliament including the Cowgate and Grassmarket. Scots OnlyFans teacher who sold x-rated pics struck off by watchdog
Kirsty Buchan who previously taught at Bannerman High School has been struck off the teaching register. A Scots teacher who was sacked for selling X-rated photos on OnlyFans has been struck off. Kirsty Buchan, 34, of Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, left her role at Bannerman High School in Glasgow when her explicit sideline was revealed. Pupils had got wind of the full-frontal content and some parents were furious. The physics teacher claimed she only started to post images to make money amid a pay row. In an interview with the Record in 2022 she later claimed to have made £60,000 in just one month by sharing photos of herself on the adult site. Glasgow City Council launched a probe into Buchan and referred the case to the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). The mum-of-one's case went before a disciplinary panel where she faced three allegations against her. The education watchdog found that she had failed to conceal her identity and profession, and that her behaviour lacked integrity. It comes just a few days after the 34-year-old spoke to the Record blasting education bosses for their 'Victorian values', while saying she was too busy to attend the hearing - as she was going to be doing a photo-shoot for her OnlyFans site. She said: 'The way I've been treated in the school and the education system has been very one-sided and unfair. The GTCS said that between 2022 and 2023 Buchan set up an OnlyFans page using the moniker 'Jessica Jackrabbitx' and used the profile to sell explicit photos and videos. It is said her bio on her page read, 'good teacher gone bad really bad', and made reference to posting 'big t**s and sexy tight body' photos 'every couple of days'. They also said she failed to ensure that her profile could not be accessed by any member of the public including those under 18 without them needing to log in or subscribe to OnlyFans. Gary Burton, solicitor and presenting officer for the GTCS said Ms Buchan had "used her profession as a selling tool", appeared to have justified her actions in newspaper interviews and that Bannerman High School was "now synonymous with having an OnlyFans teacher". The GTCS found that all allegations against Ms Buchan had been proven and decided that she should be struck off on Monday afternoon. Mr Burton recommended that it should be two years before she can reapply for teacher registration. Buchan had previously defended her decision to join OnlyFans. She told the Record last week: 'The reality is that I live my life according to proper values. I'm loyal and decent and I treat people properly. And I know I was a very good teacher because I really cared about the kids I taught. 'I'd have loved to have carried on with both but that was taken away from me. "It really just makes me feel sad, to give me a life ban and make out that I'm a bad teacher when opposite is true." She added: "People just need to get over it. What I do is not hurting anyone.'

Scots flats locked down and man arrested after 'potentially hazardous materials' found

A man has been arrested following the discovery of potentially hazardous materials in Aberdeen.
