Joe Rogan Regular Apologizes For Donald Trump Support

Hello, and welcome to today's edition of "People who voted for a convicted felon but have finally discovered something that crosses the line." Today's edition comes courtesy of Dave Smith, a "comedian" and Joe Rogan Experience regular.
Now, ol' Dave is a Libertarian who peddles COVID misinformation and believes that the previous "regime" covered up a "goddamn child trafficking network." He previously endorsed Donald Trump for president.
In an interview on the Breaking Points podcast, Dave criticized Trump's handling of the Iran-Israel conflict, calling the President's comments on "negotiating" a "deal" a "joke." Dave said of the "impotent leader," "I supported him this last year, I apologize for doing so. It was a bad calculation. At the time, it seemed like the right one. But he should be impeached and removed for this one."
"Of course, the congress will never do it because they're all a bunch of corrupt hacks," he continued. "All of his supporters should turn on him. It's an absolute betrayal of everything that he ran and campaigned on and everything that he stood for."
"Despite the fact that Donald Trump supporters have been labeled a cult following, and that certainly is true for a percentage of his supporters, he is going to lose his coalition over this. I don't just speak for myself when I say there are a lot of us who simply will not go along with this. It's a devastating mistake," the 42-year-old added. "He's also going to lose the deportation fight because of this. Right now, he needed all the political capital he could have...the neo-cons win. More war abroad."
Before being elected, Trump said at a rally, "If Kamala wins, only death and destruction await because she is the candidate of endless wars. I am the candidate of peace." He has since bombed Yemen, supported Israel, and most recently said that "it's possible" that the US might get involved in the Iran-Israel conflict.
