2025 World Cup Indoor Greens Similar To 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games Court
KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 (Bernama) -- The indoor court of the 2025 Lawn Bowls World Cup, which will be held here from Nov 4-8, will feature a similar greens concept as to what is scheduled for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Malaysian Lawn Bowls Federation (MLBF) president Datuk Awalan Abdul Aziz said the World Cup will be held indoors, which requires several improvements to the existing bowling facilities to meet international standards.
'We have to stage it indoors. We need to create a new portable greens (court), which will be adopted at the 2026 Commonwealth Games and (to be) approved by World Bowls. We will place a layer over the existing carpet and on top of that, we will install the portable mat, which can be removed.

That six-point gap has put early pressure on Belgium, who have won only one of their last eight games and are under new management in former Napoli and Lyon boss Rudi Garcia. "We've done everything we could. That's the honest truth," added Bellamy. "I've just loved every moment because they train, they work, they show up, and to have that is amazing. "I don't to have say, 'that wasn't good enough, no, we need to be sharper'. Never once I had to. So they give you energy." Wales are again without Leeds winger Daniel James, who has failed to recover from illness after missing the Liechtenstein win.

Germany building something special, says Nagelsmann after defeat by France
MUNICH: Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann said his side are still trying to close the gap on the top teams in the world after their 2-0 Nations League defeat by France on Sunday but he was confident they are building something special. Goals from Kylian Mbappe and Michael Olise earned France the victory and third place in the Nations League. Nagelsmann saw improvement in his side from their 2-1 semi-final defeat by Portugal on Wednesday. "If we perform like we did today and don't take a step back against the teams in the World Cup qualifiers, then hopefully, we'll march through and prepare well," he told reporters. "Of course, we're still a few percentage points behind where we want to be, and behind the top teams in the world.
