Two soldiers, including a major, were martyred while 11 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan's Sararogha area on Tuesday, the military's media wing reported.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted following confirmed reports of the presence of Khwarij belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij.
Troops effectively engaged the terrorist hideout, resulting in the killing of eleven terrorist and injuries to seven others, the statement said.

During the intense exchange of fire, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, 37, a resident of Chakwal, and Lance Naik Jibran Ullah, 27, from Bannu, embraced martyrdom. Major Moiz was leading the operation and had earned a reputation for his courage in previous counterterrorism operations, the ISPR stated.
It added that a sanitisation operation is ongoing in the area to eliminate any remaining threats.
The military reiterated its commitment to eliminating terrorism from the country, saying, 'Such sacrifices of our brave men only strengthen our resolve to root out the menace of terrorism, especially those supported from abroad.'

Four accused of spying for RAW arrested in Karachi
Listen to article Four operatives allegedly working for India's Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) were arrested from Karachi during a raid in Malir's Quaidabad area on Wednesday. The arrested individuals are accused of spying on military and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor sites, said intelligence agencies and the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Police. They were identified as Muhammad Khan Bariyo alias Guloo, Akhtar, Jameen Mullah alias Jaman and Ghulam Qadir alias Akash. SIU Superintendent of Police Muhammad Shoaib Memon said that the prime suspect, Muhammad Khan, a resident of Sujawal District, had been in contact with RAW and a certain Colonel Ranjeet from the Indian Border Security Force's Camp No 59 since 2009. The arrested suspects would travel there and provide sensitive information, including photos of key installations, details of deployed personnel and geo-tagged locations, he added. The suspects' mobile phones were checked as well, he added. The authorities found the Indian colonel's number on their phones and found that he was being referred to as "Boss" in their communications. Moreover, geo-tagging software was found on the confiscated phones and WhatsApp was being used to send pictures and locations of important installations. A highly sensitive document—a training manual of the Pakistan Army—was also recovered from their possession. In response to further queries, the SSP Shoaib Memon disclosed that the suspects provided detailed intelligence, including the locations and troop deployments of military and CPEC-related installations in Bin Qasim Town. They also passed on sensitive information regarding military and naval facilities in Sujawal, including shift timings, personnel rotations, and the types of weapons used. He added that it appears the arrested suspects were planning a major terrorist plot but it would be premature to say anything at this stage, as the investigation is still ongoing. The retrieved mobile phones have been sent for forensic analysis and further details of certain Indian contacts as well as the information shared are being sought. Moreover, explosive materials, including four hand grenades, one Kalashnikov rifle, another rifle, two pistols and photographs of critical installations besides other incriminating items were seized from the suspects at the time of arrest, according to the authorities. According to SSU, the suspects had crossed the Pakistani border from Sujawal via the sea route to enter India, where they reported to BSF's Camp No 59. In exchange for their services, they received monetary compensation, Indian liquor and cigarettes, which were seized during the operation. SSP Memon said that cases have been registered against the suspects under anti-nationalism provisions of the law.

Rajnath to attend SCO summit in China
Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will travel to China this week for talks with his regional counterparts, New Delhi said on Tuesday. Singh will join fellow defence ministers in the eastern city of Qingdao for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit starting Wednesday. He will "outline India's vision towards achieving greater international peace & security", a defence ministry statement said. Singh will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from China and Russia, which are alliance members alongside Pakistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted in the general area of Sararogha in South Waziristan on the reported presence of Indian proxy terrorists from the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). "During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location," the statement said, referring to the terrorists belonging to the TTP. "Eleven Indian sponsored Khwarij have been killed and seven got injured by Security Forces," it added. However, during the intense fire exchange, the ISPR said, "a brave officer Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, who was leading his troops from the front, fought gallantly and paid the ultimate sacrifice along with another brave son of the soil Lance Naik Jibran Ullah". Paying rich tribute to Major Moiz Shaheed, the ISPR said that he was renowned for his courage and daring actions in numerous operations conducted against the Khwarij. According to the statement, a sanitization operation was being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Kharji found in the area.
