"What's the difference between Pakistan Muslim League and Jairam Ramesh?": BJP MP Nishikant Dubey slams Congress
New Delhi [India], June 15 (ANI): BJP MP Nishikant Dubey targeted Congress over their foreign policy in the past on Sunday. Speaking about his X post against Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, he alleged that Congress fell into Pakistan's trap and believed that the Chief of Pakistan Army, Asim Munir, had been invited to the White House in the USA.
Speaking to ANI, Nishikant Dubey said, 'The opposition, especially the Congress, has stopped reading and writing. For the last 2-3 days, the entire Congress party kept saying that Pakistan's Army Chief General Asim Munir is going to the US. This was a trap by Pakistan. People across the country turned the opposition to Modi into opposition to the country. Today, it is known that the White House or the US military never called Asim Munir. What is the difference between the Pakistan Muslim League and Jairam Ramesh?'
Referring to the Kanishka bombing incident, when Khalistani extremists bombed an Air India flight, he said, 'Big accident happened in Ahmedabad. Secondly, when the Kanishka bomb blast happened in 1985, when did Canada start its investigation? It started in 2006. Former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau's father was the Prime Minister of Canada from 1968 to 1984. Indira Gandhi wrote seven letters to him for 16 years...He was not replying her letters, he was not listening to her and was giving shelter to Khalistani terrorists and you are teaching us foreign policy?'
Launching an attack on Congress's stand on Israel and Palestine, he alleged that Congress has secretly supported Israel after taking a stand for Palestine in the United Nations in 1950.
He told ANI, '.In 1948, Israel and Palestine became two countries. In 1948, Nehruji supported Palestine in the UN and opposed Israel, but in 1950, Nehruji secretly opened his trade office Mission in Mumbai. In 1953, its Consulate General was opened in Mumbai. In the 1971 war with Pakistan, we used Israeli weapons, and the Mossad was used to plan the attack on Pakistan along with the then Lieutenant General Jacob. In 1992, the first Israeli embassy was opened in Delhi. Palestine's Office finally opened in India in 1996...Till now, from 1948 to 2014, as long as their government was in power, more than 50 times, either we supported Israel in the UN Security Council, or we abstained. Today, when you talk about Palestine, do you think that we will support Hamas? India is with the citizens of Palestine, we have given them aid of almost 200 million from 2020 till now...In this budget too, we have kept 39 million for Palestine. But as far as Israel is concerned, if Hamas attacks them, kidnaps their children, beats them, then are we supporting a terrorist organisation like Hamas?'
Lauding PM Narendra Modi's foreign policy, Dubey said, 'Their entire foreign policy was only Nehru-family centric, the country is suffering the consequences of that and PM Modi is constantly working towards strengthening India's position abroad. That's why he is attending the G7 and G20 summits. And people know how he was welcomed in Saudi Arabia, which is a Muslim country. Let Congress do politics for vote bank and Muslim appeasement, and one day, Congress will not win even a seat in the Lok Sabha.
He also alleged that after 26/11, when Congress won elections in 2009, Manmohan Singh made an agreement with Pakistan and, under global pressure, supported terrorism and Pakistan.
As India abstained from voting on the UN's motion on Gaza, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra targeted the BJP and called it 'shameful'.
Replying to Priyanka Gandhi, Dubey shared an X post saying, 'This is what happens when you haven't studied history @priyankagandhi, 1. Do you know that after America, the first office of the Israeli Mission was opened in Mumbai by Nehru Ji in 1950, which means we gave undeclared recognition to Israel? 2. Do you know that in the 1971 war with Pakistan, Indira Gandhi used Israeli weapons, and the Mossad people used to plan the attack on Pakistan along with the then Lieutenant General Jacob? 3. Do you know that the Congress government opened the first declared Israeli embassy in Delhi in 1992? 4. Do you know that from 1948 to 2014, India either voted in favour of Israel or abstained 56 times in the Security Council 5? Palestine's embassy finally opened in India in 1996. After eating a hundred rats, the cat went for Hajj. I don't know what will happen to this country?' (ANI)

G7 meets under global fire: Trump pushes trade as leaders urge de-escalation in Middle East
But as Trump met with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, he also stressed it was a mistake to remove Russia from the organisation in 2014 and doing so had destabilised the world. He also suggested it would be a good idea to add China to the G7. The US president also seemed to put a greater priority on his planned emphasis on addressing his grievances with other nations' trade policies. 'Our primary focus will be trade,' Trump said of his talks with Carney. This year's G7 summit is full of combustible tensions, and it's unclear how the gathered world leaders can work together to resolve them. Trump already has hit several dozen nations with severe tariffs that risk a global economic slowdown. There is little progress on settling the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, and now a new conflict between Israel and Iran. Add to all of that the problems of climate change, immigration, drug trafficking, new technologies such as artificial intelligence and China's continued manufacturing superiority and chokehold on key supply chains. "We're gathering at one of those turning points in history," Carney said. "The world's more divided and dangerous.' But as the news media was escorted from the opening session, Carney could be heard as he turned to Trump and referenced how his remarks about the Middle East, Russia and China had already drawn attention to the summit. 'Mr. President, I think you've answered a lot of questions already,' Carney said. Trump wants to focus on trade, though he may have to balance those issues with the broader need by the G7 countries — which also include France, Italy and Japan — to project a united front to calm down a world increasingly engulfed in chaos. Asked if he planned to announce any trade agreements at the G7 as he left the White House on Sunday, Trump said: 'We have our trade deals. All we have to do is send a letter, 'This is what you're going to have to pay.' But I think we'll have a few, few new trade deals." Also at stake might be the survival of the G7 itself when the Trump administration has sent mixed signals about whether the president will attend the November Group of 20 summit in South Africa. The German, UK, Japanese and Italian governments have each signalled a belief that a friendly relationship with Trump this year can help to keep any public drama at a minimum, after the US president in 2018 opposed a joint communique when the G7 summit was last held in Canada.

Donald Trump's big bold statement in G7 meeting, says 'Iran will never...', refuses to sign...
New Delhi: US President Donald Trump said on Monday, 16 June 2025 that Iran cannot win the ongoing conflict with Israel and should return to talks before it is too late. Trump made this statement at the G7 meeting going on in Canada. According to Reuters and CBS News, it has been learnt that Trump has refused to sign the G7 statement. This statement appeals to reduce tensions between Iran and Israel and maintain stability in West Asia. Trump has attacked former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and former US President Barack Obama for pulling Russia out of the G7 (formerly G8). Donald Trump's statement came at a time when Israel attacked the headquarters of Iran's Defense Ministry and attacked the world's largest natural gas plant located in Bushehr province. Iran's nuclear scientists and top military officials were also targeted in this Israeli operation. Iran launched 'Operation True Promise 3' against Israel's 'Operation Rising Line'. Iran attacked Israel from Saturday night to Sunday morning. Donald Trump's warning Trump had warned Iran before the G7 that if Iran attacks America or any of its assets, we will respond with full force, a force the world has never seen before. In an official statement issued by Iran, it has been told that so far 224 people have died, and 1277 people have been injured in the attacks carried out by Israel since Friday, June 13. However, it was not told how many of them are civilians or military personnel.
