RAPID CITY, SD (KELO) — A federal jury has found a Rapid City man guilty of child pornography charges following an undercover sex trafficking operation during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
34-year-old William Henry Riese was indicted in August of 2022 after prosecutors say he sent sexually explicit texts to a person he believed to be a 14-year-old girl, but was actually an undercover agent.
Law enforcement arrested Riese when he went to meet the person he thought was the girl.
Riese faces a minimum of 15 years in prison when he's sentenced in May.
