EA FC 25 Premier League TOTS – release date, predictions, and expected content

Daily Mirror28-04-2025

The Premier League TOTS squad will be released in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team later this week alongside the WSL and EFL TOTS squads
After a week of Ligue 1 TOTS, the popular EA FC 25 Premier League TOTS squad is up next in Ultimate Team.
The TOTS promo is currently underway in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, with EA Sports kicking things off with the Ligue 1 TOTS squad last week. Along with the TOTS Season Pass that features more TOTS rewards, week one of the TOTS promo has been a huge hit in Ultimate Team, but even more big names are set to be released when the EA FC 25 Premier League TOTS goes live.

EA released a Premier League TOTS public vote earlier this month, allowing players to choose who they want to see feature in the EA FC 25 Premier League TOTS squad, with players from Liverpool, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest dominating the nominees, just as we guessed in our Premier League TOTS predictions.

Here's everything there is to know about the EA FC 25 Premier League TOTS squad.
EA FC 25 Premier League TOTS release date
Confirmed by EA, the EA FC 25 Premier League TOTS release date will be 10am PDT / 1pm EDT/ 6pm BST on Friday, May 2, where 21 Premier League TOTS items, including the new TOTS Highlights, will enter Ultimate Team packs. A Women's Super League (WSL) TOTS squad and an EFL TOTS squad will also be released in packs at the same time, meaning there should be 49 TOTS items in packs.
The Premier League TOTS will remain in packs until 10am PDT / 1pm EDT/ 6pm BST on Friday, May 9, when the Bundesliga TOTS will take its place following the Bundesliga TOTS public vote.

Former West Ham star Dimitri Payet has contract ripped up leaving him unemployed after shocking abuse claims

DIMITRI PAYET had his contract ripped up to leave him unemployed. It comes just weeks after shocking abuse claims against the ex-West Ham man. 4 Ex-West Ham man Dimitri Payet had his contract in Brazil terminated Credit: Getty 4 Ex-lover Larissa Ferrari made shocking abuse claims against the married footballer during their alleged affair Credit: Payet, 38, joined Brazilian side Vasco da Gama on a two-year contract in August 2023. However, the club announced the decision to cut the deal short. They wrote on social media: "Vasco da Gama announces that, in a friendly manner, it has reached an agreement to terminate the contract with midfielder Dimitri Payet early. "The club thanks the athlete for the professionalism, dedication and respect demonstrated throughout his time at Sao Januario, and wishes him success in his next challenges. "For Vasco, Payet played 77 matches, scored eight goals and contributed 16 assists. "Thank you, Payet. This is Vasco." Payet hit headlines in April when his ex-lover alleged he subjected her to "physical, moral, psychological and sexual violence" during a seven-month affair. The "lonely" married footballer was accused of forcing Larissa Ferrari to film degrading videos, SunSport revealed. Brazilian lawyer Ferrari, 28, also said the former French international Payet made her partake in a fake wedding and wear a ring to 'prove her love'. She claimed he made her drink her own urine and water from the toilet, and lick the floor - plus showed SunSport photos of her bruises. Premier League cult hero Dimitri Payet rolls back the years as he humiliates opponent with unique 360-nutmeg The mum-of-two said: 'He's a sick monster. I was scared for my life, and I'm still scared." Payet denied "physical and psychological violence" in a statement to the police in Brazil, adding that everything was consensual and proposed by his accuser. The playmaker has four children with his wife of nearly 20 years, Ludivine, who remained in France after he joined Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro in 2023. Before that, he had six-and-a-half years with Marseille, joining the French side for £25million following an impressive 18 months with West Ham. 4 Payet spent two years with Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro Credit: Getty

Callum Osmand can be Celtic punisher as Marco Silva gives Brendan Rodgers the key to unlock potential

Osmand is set to join the Premiership champions from Fulham as the Hoops take advantage of cross border transfers yet again Marco Silva has told Celtic how to get the best out of incoming new signing Callum Osmand. The Fulham starlet is set to follow in Moussa Dembele 's footsteps and make the move from Craven Cottage to Parkhead as the Premiership champions once again take advantage of cross border transfers for Under 21 payers. ‌ They will land the 19-year-old for training compensation and the Welsh youth international is understood to have already completed his Hoops medical. ‌ Cottagers boss Marco Silva rates Osmand highly, and promoted him to train with the first team and take his place on the bench towards the end of last season, although he wasn't given an English Premier League run out. And if the Portuguese's comments on Osmand are anything to go by, he will be disappointed to lose him, although the reason for leaving is exactly what Silva said the youngster needed after bringing him into the top team fold at Fulham. And he reckons a strike partner will allow Brendan Rodgers to see Osmand at his full potential further down the line. 'It's not his first time he's been with us," said Silva towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign. "Last season, he had some sessions with us, pre-season too, and the beginning of the season. "He is much more mobile [than a traditional centre forward], let's see if he is going to have a chance or not to play some minutes, but he is going to have a chance to train much more with us, to be much more involved with the first team. ‌ 'He needs more senior football in his legs to see how he can adapt, perform. He's got the profile that I like. When he has a chance, he can punish the opposition. "I can see the talent, in a position that is very difficult to play in the Premier League. Probably if you play another striker by his side … you will take the best from him. Let's hope we can help him to be ready for the Premier League.'

When does the transfer window reopen and why has it closed?

This summer's transfer dealings have been split into two windows, with the first now closed. There was a scaled down Deadline Day on Tuesday as the transfer window closed for the first time at 7pm UK time. Plenty of deals have already been done in the Premier League, with Manchester City especially busy having spent over £60m on Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Nouri. Chelsea have already made a splash as well, beating a number of rivals to bring in Liam Delap from Ipswich Town. Premier League champions Liverpool have also been swift in replacing the outgoing Trent Alexander-Arnold by signing Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. The Reds have also let back-up goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher depart for Brentford, where Mark Flekken has left for Leverkusen. The first transfer window opened on June 1, but deals can now not be done again, but only for a few days. The transfer window swings open again on Monday June 16 and will remain open until Deadline Day on Monday September 1. It will be a different Deadline Day to normal, though, as the window closes at 7pm UK time rather than the usual 11pm. The revamped Club World Cup has changed things this summer, with the tournament in America getting underway on June 15. The first transfer window was known as an 'exceptional registration period' as it was there to allow clubs involved in the competition to bring in players before the tournament. As FIFA's rules state that calendar year transfer windows cannot exceed 16 weeks, there had to be a break of a few days where it was closed. While the exceptional registration period was there to help the teams involved in the Club World Cup, all Premier League sides could use it. More Trending 'This is a dream for me. Honestly, to be joining a club like Manchester City and have the opportunity to make the next step in my career here is something very, very special,' he said. 'I have worked so hard for this all my life. I love this sport, and I can't wait to develop further here in Manchester with Pep and his backroom staff. 'Everyone knows how good City are – they have been so successful for many years now. The responsibility to help the team continue winning is something I want to embrace. 'I would only leave Lyon for a project I really believe in and everything at City suggests I can develop my game and help the team be successful in the future. I can't wait to show City fans what I can do.'
