(Supplied) The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad is asking for the public's help to find a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant as a result of a breach of his statutory release. Tyler Doskotch, 23, is a white male who is 6-foot-1 and weighs 160 pounds. He has the word 'Success' tattooed on his left jawline and 'MTO' under his right eye. Doskotch was serving a two-year sentence for robbery, assault with intent to commit robbery, break and enter, violating probation, threatening to kill animals and failing to attend court. He is known to frequent Kingston, Ottawa, Toronto, Timmins and Iroquois Falls. Anyone having contact with Doskotch or who has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the ROPE Squad at 416-808-5900, toll-free at 1-866-870-7673 (ROPE), Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or call 911.

There's no rain in the forecast for Flin Flon, Manitoba over the next week as crews there fight a wildfire that's raging nearby. Sarnia man arrested after contacting assault victim in violation of release conditions
A 27-year-old Sarnia man is facing charges following a string of assaults and release violations against the same victim in Chatham-Kent. Police say that the Sarnia man was initially charged following a domestic disturbance at a residence. Police charged the man with five counts of assault, and three counts of assault causing bodily harm as the result of an investigation. Following those charges, the man was released with conditions not to contact the victim, or go to a location where she lived, worked, or attended school. On May 4, police received a call that the man was spotted at the victim's residence, however upon arrival he was not present, and they were unable to locate him. Investigation resulted in police discovering that the man had attended the residence on multiple occasions, and made attempts to contact the victim in violation of his probation conditions. Police issued a warrant for his arrest. On May 30, Sarnia police located the accused and he was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where he remains and is being held.
