Justin Baldoni's 'It Ends with Us' Double Pulls Back Curtain On 'Tense' Set
Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively's issues on the "It Ends with Us" set weren't known to everyone, but they certainly affected the vibe ... so says Baldoni's stand-in.
Thomas Canestraro -- Baldoni's stunt double on the film -- spoke with Daily Mail about his time on set near the end of filming ... admitting it felt "tense" -- and, "There was some discomfort from everybody."
Canestaro says the big problem he noticed were the production issues ... claiming he was meant to be on set for just five days -- but, that quickly turned into two weeks.
TC remembers wondering why each scene seemed to take so long to shoot ... and, with hindsight, he says the delays make far more sense.
Canestraro also claims that Blake's demeanor was far different than he remembered it being when the two met on the set of "A Simple Favor" several years prior.
During a promotional shoot which involved Lively on 'ASF' -- where Thomas stripped down to only a "sock" covering his privates -- says he had an "extremely easy time" working with Lively.
However, on 'IEWU,' Thomas claims she was more "closed off" ... and, while he thought it was cool that Ryan Reynolds was visiting the set at the time, Thomas now admits it might be because of how difficult the shoot was for Blake.
A source close to Blake tells TMZ ... it shouldn't be surprising that she was "closed off" -- given the sexual harassment allegations she later made against Justin.
As for his thoughts on Baldoni ... Canestraro says they didn't stay in contact after shooting -- but, he was "extremely friendly."
As you know ... Blake and Justin are suing each other -- with Blake alleging Justin sexually harassed her and Justin claiming Blake tried to take over "It Ends with Us" from him.

Schoen said, "What I can say definitively is that I discussed this subject with Mr. Epstein at a time when it would have been in his best interests to implicate others, and he made clear that Donald Trump did nothing wrong and that he had no damaging information against him." The financier, who had ties to celebrities, politicians, and royalty, was arrested on multiple disturbing charges and was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges before he died by suicide in 2019. Although there are pictures making the rounds on social media in which Trump was seen partying with Epstein, Schoen maintained that he didn't do anything wrong. Taking to his X account, the attorney wrote: "I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein's defense as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died. He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!" In a reply to another tweet restating his claims, Schoen said he can "unequivocally" state that President Trump "never did anything wrong with Jeffrey Epstein." It comes after Elon Musk dropped the "bomb," alleging Trump was on Epstein's list and that was "the real reason they have not been made public." Trump and Musk enjoyed a working relationship prior to the November elections, after which the billionaire tech guru was given the mandate to spearhead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), responsible for cutting federal government spending. However, they have now fallen out with each other following Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill, which Musk has since labeled a "disgusting abomination." "I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore," Musk wrote on X. "This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination." "Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it," the billionaire continued, adding that the bill "will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion (!!!) and burden America [sic] citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt." In another explosive tweet, Musk claimed that Trump couldn't have won the 2024 elections without him. "Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House, and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate," Musk said. He added: "Such ingratitude." "Look, the president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this bill," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said during a briefing when asked about Musk's criticism. As the Lively-Baldoni legal plot thickens, reporter James Vituscka was subpoenaed by lawyers for Lively's publicist Leslie Sloane to turn over text messages in which he incorrectly framed the 'Gossip Girl' star's sexual harassment claims as assault. 'In those text messages, my use of the phrase 'sexually assaulted' was a mistake. I meant to say, 'sexually harassed.' I regret this error,' Vituscka's declaration read. 'Ms. Sloane never told me that Ms. Lively was sexually harassed or sexually assaulted by Justin Baldoni or anyone else.' Representatives for Sloane said that after being 'wrongfully dragged into this litigation' the Daily Mail reporter's statement fully vindicates the publicist. 'Leslie Sloane has repeatedly stated that she never used the phrase 'sexually assaulted' which formed the basis of Baldoni's meritless defamation claim against her and today she is fully vindicated by the declaration of James Vituscka that admits she never said those words,' Sigrid McCawley, managing partner of Boies Schiller Flexner, said in a statement obtained by TheWrap. 'The declaration also makes clear that the Wayfarer Parties never even bothered to attempt to confirm whether the outrageous allegations they were launching at Ms. Sloane were true and they were not,' the statement continued. Sloane's representatives continued to characterize the text messages as the Wayfarer team's attempts to 'ruin Ms. Sloane's reputation with this vicious and wrongful attack and she has consistently told the truth and justice has prevailed.' On Tuesday, a judge granted Lively's request to remove claims of emotional distress from her legal action against her 'It Ends With Us' co-star and director Justin Baldoni. Judge Lewis Liman denied Baldoni's motion to compel because 'the parties have agreed to dismiss Ms. Lively's 10th and 11th causes of action' without prejudice, meaning the court 'will preclude Lively from offering any evidence of emotional distress' in the future.
