Where to watch The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 in the UK
It's been two years since season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty wrapped up on an emotional cliffhanger. The last series, following the book's storyline, ends with Belly (Lola Tung) choosing to be with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), leaving Conrad (Christopher Briney) brokenhearted – delighting some viewers and devastating others in what has been a very divisive Fisher brothers love triangle. Wondering what happens now? We're about to find out.
Luckily for us, we won't have to wait too long to get our fix, with the third and final series premiering worldwide on 16 July. It's yet to be announced whether the entire last season will be aired all at once or if we'll need to wait for weekly episodes as before. We could even see the series split into two parts. What we do know though is there will be 11 hour-long episodes in the final season, giving us a few more episodes than both the first and second seasons. You can trust us to bring you the latest details on episode air dates as soon as we hear.
Prime Video released a much-anticipated trailer that features Taylor Swift's hits. At the beginning of the trailer, we see Jeremiah and Belly announce their engagement, but over the course of the three-minute preview, it seems Conrad will cause as much drama as the previous seasons. It seems we're in for a treat.
As you wait for the 16 July release date, you can catch up on the past two seasons of The Summer I Turned Pretty. You will need an Amazon Prime membership to do so, it costs £9.99 per month, but, if you haven't been an Amazon Prime member in the last year, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial, which comes with a whole range of other Amazon Prime benefits.
What is ' The Summer I Turned Pretty' season 3 about?
Without giving away too much, Prime Video's official synopsis for the final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty reads 'It's the end of her junior year of college, and Belly's looking forward to another summer in Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah. Her future seems set until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life. Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same…'
If the latest trailer, released on 12 June, is anything to go by, we can expect plenty of happy memories at Cousins Beach, tears, fist fights, important decisions, and a wedding. But, who will Belly choose... Are you team Conrad or Jeremiah?

Not Going Out, review: Lee Mack has to be the funniest man on TV right now
I didn't watch Not Going Out (BBC One) when it launched in 2006 because, well, I was going out. Now I've reached the stage of life where watching an easygoing sitcom is a perfect Friday night in. That's middle-age for you. On this basis, I can't tell you if it has always been good, but the 14th series – this is the UK's second-longest-running sitcom after Last of the Summer Wine – is a hoot. Lee Mack has to be the funniest man on TV right now, what with this, Would I Lie to You? and The 1% Club. He brings his stand-up skills and talent for physical comedy to Not Going Out, playing a fictionalised version of himself opposite Sally Bretton as his wife, Lucy. We've skipped a few years since the last series in storytelling terms, because Lee and Lucy are now empty-nesters settling into a new home after their children have left for university. In another new development, the half-hour episodes are now filmed in real time, which helps to amp up the farce. The first episode culminates in Lee having to fish something unmentionable out of a loo during a house viewing, then trying to sneak it out in his pocket without bringing it to the attention of the homeowner (played by Mike Wozniak). It's puerile stuff, and it made me laugh like a drain. Fellow critics have been sniffy about it over the years, with the Guardian calling it 'unapologetically retro' as if that were a bad thing. Actually, it's the Office-style mockumentaries and Fleabag -esque looks to camera that feel old hat these days, and hopefully we're past the phase where every new commission had to be an issue-led comedy exploring a facet of mental health. A show working hard to make us giggle by packing in more jokes per minute than most TV comedies do per episode is what feels refreshing now (and yes, I know Mrs Brown's Boys tries to do the same, but it's terrible). The only themes that come up in Not Going Out are being a 50-something man hankering after his youth – by trying to bag some Oasis reunion tickets – and being a 50-something man who's a bit of an idiot but whose wife loves him anyway. Mack's comedy heroes include Tommy Cooper and Eric Morecambe, which is evident in the gags. 'My neighbours are lovely people, we're very close.' Lee: 'That's neighbours for you.' Or: 'This watch belonged to my late father. It doesn't keep very good time.' Lee: 'Explains why he was late.' Mack delivers these lines with a deadpan commitment. Bretton takes a different approach, almost wincing at the script and anticipating the reaction of the live studio audience. The producer, Jamie Rix, is the son of Brian Rix, so knows a thing or two about crafting a good farce. There are six episodes in this series. Half of them take place in the house, while the other three are set in a hotel room, the set of a Game of Thrones-style drama on which Lee and Lucy have found work as extras, and a camper-van. The last of these is a horror spoof featuring a great cameo from Felicity Montagu (Lynn in Alan Partridge) as a deranged camper. It's stupid fun. Stay in and watch it.

Pulp score first UK number one album in 27 years with More
Indie rockers Pulp have achieved their first UK number one album in 27 years with More, the Official Charts Company said. The last time the Sheffield-based group topped the UK album charts was in 1998 with This Is Hardcore which followed on from their best-known studio album, Different Class, released three years prior and their only other chart-topping LP. More, which was released last Friday, is the band's first studio album since 2001's We Love Life. The album is also named the biggest record of the week on wax, topping the Official Vinyl Albums Chart. The band are playing a number of gigs throughout the summer, including sets at Montreux Jazz Festival in July and Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival in August. The veteran rockers have a gap in their schedule between June 21 and July 10, which has fuelled speculation that they could be among the secret acts currently listed as 'TBA' in the line-up for Glastonbury Festival, which is taking place later this month. Elsewhere in the albums chart the eponymous debut album of US pop star and TikTok sensation Addison Rae has landed at number two. The record contains the hit singles Diet Pepsi, Headphones On, and Fame Is A Gun, which have all made it into the top 40 of the singles chart. Another new entry is Lotus by British rapper Little Simz, which has landed at number three, a personal best for the London-born music star whose Mercury Prize-winning album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert peaked at number four back in 2021. Lotus also debuts at number one on the Official Record Store Chart, the most popular LP of the week in UK independent record shops. Rounding out the top five is Sabrina Carpenter's Short N' Sweet at number four and Ed Sheeran's Mathematics Tour Collection compilation album at five. Over in the singles chart, US popstar Carpenter has knocked Alex Warren from the top spot with her new single Manchild. The 26-year-old recently announced the release of a new studio album, Man's Best Friend, which will be released in August. The Official Charts Company said Carpenter has banked the most consecutive weeks in the albums chart top five out of any other female solo artist. The rest of the top five sees Warren at number two with Ordinary, Love Me Not by Ravyn Lenae at number three, Chappell Roan's Pink Pony Club at number four, and Sombr's Undressed at number five.
