Accelerator
This close-ranged
Shredder
excels at stripping shields. However, it suffers from poor accuracy at the range. To overhead, it will trigger the Redline explosions for the mastery challenge.
The accelerator is best used in tight corridors where the spread of the weapon doesn't matter. If needed, switch to Cycler for a better range.
Chainshot
For the high-risk and high-reward cases, charge the Chainshot will unleash some devastating blasts. However, the slow fire rate can leave you vulnerable. For Reverberation, completely charge the shots near the groups to trigger Cosmic Breach explosions. Also, the weapon is great for big targets.

It might be impractical in fast fights.
Combat Shotgun
Call it a reliable backup, as, while it is overshadowed by Super Shotgun, Combat Shotgun offers some steady damage, and the armor drops. To complete Barrel Stuffer, fire into the bulky demons at close range. It is a decent fallback when you are trying to conserve the
Super Shotgun
ammo.
Cycler
The weapon is the rapid-fire energy weapon that shocks the enemies. It makes them take some extra damage. Its high range and accuracy make it completely ideal for weakening foes before making a switch to Super Shotgun.
To unlock the Thermal Runaway mastery, overheat it to trigger the Lightning Arc damage. Chain the weapon's shocks, killing the electrified enemies near the others.
Grenade Launcher
For clearing the crowd, these bouncy grenades can easily wipe the groups. But they need players to have careful aiming. The Clusterfun challenge demands direct hits after the
Shield
Throws to trigger the cluster explosions.
It is useful in the choke points. But it is outclassed by Pulverizer for the consistent control of the crowd.
Impaler
For some precision headshots, the high-damage sniper is perfect. It excels at taking down the heavy demons from afar. The Lobotomy upgrade further refills the melee charges on the headshots while rewarding the precision.
For the Acupuncture challenge, be sure to aim for the weak spots on the fodder enemies while keeping the melee attacks depleted. Also, use the Chronospike to slow down the time and have easier shots.
Pulverizer
The weapon is the king for crowd control. The wide-arcing Pulverizer mows down groups effortlessly. The Hunter mastery of the weapon needs to land the charged attacks, which can be best achieved via quicker killing of multiple weak enemies.
The upgrades expand the spread of the weapon. It makes it deadlier in the tight spaces. Make sure to switch to Raveger for the single-target damage when needed.
Ravager
Ravagers are bone-grinding carnages. It fires fast, and it comes with better range and accuracy. The Supplier upgrade of it drops the ammo on the hits, allowing the sustained fire.
For completing the Gatherer challenge, ensure to be aggressive. Every kill will fuel the ammo reserves. Also, it is perfect for long-range engagements that Super Shot cannot reach.
Rocket Launcher
The weapon is just perfect for damage and high-risk situations. It is powerful and explosive, but it comes with a major drawback: self-damage. The Engorge mastery needs to heal through rockets that are parry-boosted.
The weapon is best reserved for open areas where the splash damage will not backfire. The other weapons are much safer for the chaos in the close quarters.
Shredder
The weapon is the solid starter rifle. It pierces the enemies and sets up spike explosions when combined with the Shield Throws.
For the Burster mastery, shoot the enemies till they glow. Next, hit them with the shield to trigger the splash damage. The later weapons might outclass Shredder, but it definitely is one of the great ones, especially early in the game.
Super Shotgun
It is the powerhouse at close range. It can shred enemies with massive damage. The upgrades enhance the armor penetration and make it perfect for breaking the defenses before finishing with the Shield Throw.
For the Super Barrel Stuffer mastery, make sure to fire point-blank into the larger demons to ensure all the pellets hit right. Pair it with Cycler for the long-range softening before you close in to kill.
