The routes from Cardiff Airport to Hurghada will start on May 2, 2026 so holidaymakers can soak up Egyptian sunshine.
The beach resort town stretches along Egypt's Red Sea coast and is known for being one of the best spots for scuba diving.
One Sun Travel writer took a trip to Hurghada where they discovered the country's largest waterpark - Hurghada's Makadi Water World.
TUI is also launching a brand-new route from Cardiff to Faro on May 21, 2026.
In the Portuguese city is a charming Old Town, the Cathedral of Faro, and the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
There are lots of beaches near Faro too, near Quarteira and Vilamoura as well as on the sandbar islands of Ilha de Faro and Ilha Deserta.
Deputy Travel Editor Kara Godfrey recently visited Faro and decided to visit the islands herself.
She said: "There are some fantastic islands just off the coast where you will see barely any tourists.
"Ilha Deserta, also known as Barreta, takes just 20 minutes by boat, with tickets a few euros.
"Some call it the Caribbean of Portugal - something I agree with thanks to its golden sandy beaches."

Fuerteventura is the second largest of Spain's Canary Islands and another route that TUI is starting for summer 2026.
It will continue on from the winter season which launches on December 20, 2025 - when the weather is an average of 20 degrees.
These flights will also be available from Cardiff Airport - and it's only a four hour flight.
This volcanic island off the coast of north-west Africa is considered an unspoiled alternative to tourist hotspots Tenerife and Lanzarote.
Head of Travel (Digital) Caroline McGuire visited Fuerteventura and described it as the perfect half-term destination.
The island has around 80 beaches but one memorable stretch of coast is called the Popcorn Beach.
The "sand" is made up of small white algae fossils, it looks like the whole beach is lined with popcorn.
Another flight that's been launched by TUI is is from the UK to Ibiza - which is in time for summer 2025.
Exeter Airport in Devon now has two TUI aircrafts, with a new weekly route to Ibiza now available.
Plus, TUI reveals the cheaper holiday destinations Brits are flocking to for a bargain as Spain is 'full' this summer.

Top European holiday destination to let British travellers skip lengthy passport queues this summer

HOLIDAYMAKERS heading to Portugal will face shorter airport queues THIS WEEK with Brits able to use e-gates. The sunshine destination will become the first country to allow UK passport holders to use the system since Sir Keir Starmer struck a deal with Brussels. 1 Travellers heading to Faro airport will be able to use e-gates Credit: twitter/@JeffStelling Travellers have had to queue to have their passports stamped when arriving for their break since the UK left the European Union - often leading to long queues. Around 2.5 million people head to Portugal each year with more with 300,000 heading to the Algarve. Around 50,000 Brits live in the country. It has now been confirmed that holidaymakers heading to Faro airport will be able to use the hi-tech system. Europe relations Minister Nick Thomas-Symonds said: "The historic deal that we signed with the EU on May 19 is in our national interests - good for bills, borders and jobs. "It slashes red tape and bureaucracy, boosts British exporters and makes life easier for holidaymakers. "Indeed, I'm delighted to confirm this morning that Faro Airport in Portugal will start the rollout of e-gate access to UK arrivals this week." Only last month, EU relations minister Thomas-Symonds strongly hinted that Brits will face less time waiting at border control. He said: 'I would love to see you being able to go through the border more quickly in that way. 'That's certainly something we've been pushing with the EU and I think that will be something that will be very helpful to British people.' The Prime Minister revealed details of Brits using e-gates during the first summit between Britain and the European Union. But the use of e-gates had to be given the green light by individual countries. The PM came under fire by explicitly saying that ''Brits travelling to Europe will now be able to use e-gates'.

Brits who stay at Corfu hotel blast 'pathetic chavs' after gran's 'no English food' moan

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Guests at the Lido Corfu Sun Hotel in Corfu, which was recently criticised by a British grandmother for its limited English food options, have fired back at reviewers they've dubbed "pathetic chavs". Susan Edwards, 69, sparked the debate after expressing her frustration with the lack of chips and excessive rice dishes. However, the hotel's management defended their menu, describing it as "generous and diverse" with daily offerings of fresh salads, fruits, and hot and cold dishes. In response to the controversy, loyal customers have taken to review platforms like Tripadvisor and Google to defend the hotel, dismissing Ms Edwards' criticism as unfair. One reviewer was so incensed that they created a new account specifically to respond to the backlash, giving the hotel a glowing five-star review, reports the Mirror. The account, created only this month seemingly in response to the row, rated Lido Corfu Sun Hotel as five stars out of five. The review reads: "Don't listen to pathetic chavvy Brits and Poles who bought the cheapest 'all Inclusive' package in existence and demanded type of service only the most entitled and uncouth would. It's a fine, charming little place. Close to water, nice food and clean facilities. Thankfully, no British food!" (Image: Iain Buist/Newcastle Chronicle) Another reviewer also leaves a subtle dig at Ms Edwards' whinge, insisting the Greek food is delicious. They, seemingly tongue in cheek, praised the offerings for Scottish guests in the critique, left hours after Ms Edwards' story emerged. The tourist wrote: "Phenomenal hotel, very comfortable and well located for a relaxing holiday, we are regular visitors. Excellent all inclusive food and drink package, they really go out their way to cater for Scottish visitors. "We enjoyed draught Tennant's lager, Irn Bru was on tap (diet and full fat), square sausage on a roll at breakfast, scotch pies and bridies at lunchtime, and there was always a choice of haggis or mince 'n tatties at dinner. Tunnock's tea cakes and shortbread were available all day, along with Scottish Blend tea. The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you. The Greek dishes are also immense, which is a bonus, as Corfu is in Greece." And the majority of guests on Google Reviews rated Lido Corfu Sun Hotel as five stars out of five. Plenty of these top reviews have been published in the last few days in the wake of the criticism. One reads: "The food is delicious. The service is great. We arrived at 4am and at 8am we got a room and wristbands and we could use everything. On the day of departure after adding the key to the transfer itself we could use all the facilities and food. We sincerely recommend." It jars hugely with Ms Edwards' experience as the gran, from Westerhope, Newcastle, said her holiday was "horrendous" from the minute she, her two cousins, her second cousin and her daughter arrived. TUI offered the guests £100 in holiday vouchers, with a spokesperson saying they were "sorry to hear" about her experience. They said: "Our priority is to ensure customers have the best possible holiday experience, so we are sorry to hear that Ms Edwards felt dissatisfied with her holiday. We have been in touch directly with Ms Edwards to come to a resolution." Sign up for the North Wales Live newsletter sent twice daily to your inbox Find out what's happening near you

In the aptly named Kent town of Deal, National Fish and Chip Day was celebrated with 300 portions of chips given away, as well as a limited run of battered fish. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 The chippy was fronted by two electric cars and fronted by TikTok's 'Chip Shop Diva But it wasn't your ordinary chip shop, with the chippy being powered by two electric cars and fronted by TikTok's 'Chip Shop Diva', Destiny Harold. The Dacia Spring, which its makers say is the cheapest electric vehicle currently on the market, was the power behind the frying, in partnership with local chippy, The Blue Mermaid Fish Bar. It comes after a poll of 2,000 adults found fish and chips is the most popular treat on a British holiday, as well as cream tea and hot doughnuts. Others to feature in the top 20 list include Mr Whippy ice cream, Cornish pasties and mussels. Quintessentially British foods, such as fish finger sandwiches, strawberries and cream and a pie and mash also featured in the ranking. A spokesperson for car brand Dacia said: 'It was fun treating passers-by today and showing the power of our electric car, Spring, using its vehicle to load technology, which allows you to power external devices off the car's battery. 'It's no surprise we have a national day dedicated to the iconic meal that is fish and chips and the study shows just how much we love it and associate it with holidays by the seaside. 'Playing on the phrase 'cheap as chips' in line with our affordable car and being in the appropriately named Deal, was a great way to celebrate National Fish and Chip Day.' The research also found 41% of adults describe such foods as nostalgic, while 45% feel satisfied after eating them. When ordering a classic fish and chips, cod (48%) and haddock (19%) were the most popular choices, but 69% simply order a portion of chips. It also emerged 44% believe fish and chips is the 'food of the people' and 39% said class doesn't impact how people eat it. While 46% feel there is something nostalgic about eating the British staple with a wooden fork, which 33% typically do, although 38% opt to eat it by hand. Food psychologist, James Cornish, said: 'There are few things that unite the British public quite like fish and chips. 'Golden, salty, comforting, and steeped in history, this timeless dish is more than a meal - it's a national treasure. 'Loved across generations, social classes, and regions, it's one of those rare things that truly brings us together. 'There's a certain kind of magic in fish and chips - a simple meal that somehow carries the weight of memory, comfort, and delight. 'Maybe it's because we don't expect too much from humble food, but our delight is excelled through the delivering of more than we expected.'
