Emma Raducanu is back as British no1 as she begins her Wimbledon journey against Mimi Xu this afternoon.
Raducanu has a Grand Slam under her belt, having won the US Open in 2021, but has never got past the fourth round at her home tournament.

Her opponent, fellow British hope Xu, is just 17 years old and is one of 23 home players competing in the singles competition at SW19, having been handed a wildcard entry.
Raducanu has already played down her chances of a deep run in the competition, as she continues to deal with personal matters, a back problem and a very tough draw.
"Truthfully I don't expect much from myself this year," she said. "I know I've just been dealing with certain things. I just want to go out there and embrace the moment. I want to embrace the occasion.
"Right now I'm just happy to be at Wimbledon. I think that is a great motivation to just keep going and deal with everything else afterwards."
Raducanu vs Xu start time
British no1 Raducanu and Mingge Xu's all-British affair is scheduled as the third game on Court One, after world no1 Aryna Sabalenka takes on Carson Branstine and then fellow British hope Jacob Fearnley face Joao Fonseca.

That means Raducanu is not expected on court before 4pm at the earliest today.
