Devastated families pay tribute to three teenagers killed in collision between car and bus near Heathrow
The families of three teenagers killed in a head-on crash between a car and a bus near Heathrow Airport have paid tribute to their loved ones.
Harley Woods, aged 18, Star Tomkins and Jimmy Savory – both aged 17 – were travelling in a silver Mercedes when it collided with the bus in Feltham at 11:55pm last Monday.
All three teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene on Bedfont Road – where both vehicles were found on fire – and a fourth person in the car was taken to hospital, the Metropolitan Police said.
Two passengers in the bus, which was an H26 service bound for Hatton Cross, were also taken to hospital, while other passengers were treated at the scene by paramedics, according to police.
Writing on GoFundMe, Star's loved ones said: 'It is with very heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Star Tomkins, who passed away on the 1st of April 2025.
'She was beloved daughter, sister granddaughter, niece and best friend. She had a heart of gold and be deeply missed by many.'
The family are appealing for donations to allow them to 'give Star a send off she deserves and celebrate her life which was cut so short'.
In a statement released by police, Mr Woods' relatives said: 'We as a family are completely devastated by the loss of Harley. We ask if we can be left in peace to grieve and find a way through this.'
Jimmy's mother described him as 'our darling boy' in a Facebook post, adding that 'all who knew and loved him will be welcome' at his funeral later this month.
Police said an investigation into the collision was ongoing, while an inquest opened and adjourned at West London Coroner's Court on Tuesday.
The collision took place on a stretch of Bedfont Road, which is close to HMP Feltham and Heathrow Airport.
Firefighters sent crews from Feltham and Heston stations and the fire had been put out by 1.41am on Tuesday, officials said.
The London Ambulance Service said in a statement at the time: 'Our crews treated six people. Sadly, three people were declared dead at the scene. We took the other three patients to hospital.'

One friend posted photos of her on country walks with Adele. She said: 'Thank you for always being an amazing friend, always honest and caring.' A neighbour in Longridge said: 'They were a good couple who liked camping. It's a tragedy.' Police Scotland shared the following statement in relation to Adele and Craig's death's: 'A man and woman were found deceased within a tent on the side of Loch Awe at 4.25pm on Saturday. Their deaths are not being treated as suspicious.' It comes just days after a body was found in a wooded area near Falkirk believed to be Cole Cooper, a 19 year old who vanished last month. A man's body was discovered in a wooded area near Kilsyth Road in Banknock at about 4.15pm on Friday, June 6, not far from where Cole was last spotted. Although formal identification is pending, Police Scotland has notified Cole's family of the find. The location of the find is a mere 15-minute walk from where Cole was last confirmed to be seen. Police Scotland is continuing its investigation to determine what happened.

Ellie Douglas was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash in Bathgate. A Scots teen who died in a horror crash with an HGV lorry has been named locally. Ellie Douglas, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene after a Volkswagen Polo she was travelling in collided with a lorry at Boghead Roundabout in Bathgate on Monday, June 9, at around 11:50pm. The 20-year-old male driver of the vehicle and an 18-year-old female passenger were rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries. A GoFundMe created to help the family with the costs of arranging a funeral described the teen as a 'beautiful soul.' It said: " Ellie was a beautiful soul who lit up every room with her humour and warmth. She was a wee gem at our quiz nights and always brought joy to those around her. "She had just completed her Level 5 in hairdressing and was full of excitement to begin her career." Tia Thomson said: "You were loved by everyone. Fly high, my girl, thinking of you always."
