Man United v Athletic Bilbao LIVE: Europa League final beckons for hosts after huge win
Manchester United have one foot in the Europa League final but will be wary of a response from Athletic Bilbao at Old Trafford in the semi-final second leg.
Ruben Amorim's side claimed a hugely impressive 3-0 win in Bilbao last week and will be hoping to finish the job and return to the Basque Country for the final on 21 May. Athletic were dangerous in the opening stages before the tie turned on Dani Vivian's red card, but they will be missing three of their best attacking players in Nico and Inaki Williams and top scorer Oihan Sancet.
Amorim, however, said 'anything is possible' at Old Trafford and United's form has been inconsistent all season, with Sunday's 4-3 defeat at Brentford continuing their woeful Premier League form. Bellingham has been named in the European Under-21 Championship, to be held in Slovakia from 11-28 June, but England boss Lee Carsley has said he will release players so they can compete in the Club World Cup. Mirroring his brother It is thought Bellingham is keen to follow in his brother's footsteps. Jude, two years Jobe's senior, also came through Birmingham City's academy before moving to Dortmund in 2020 and then Real Madrid in 2023. Bellingham is already mirroring his brother's career with the move to Dortmund and he was also named the Championship's Young Player of the Year in May, five years after Jude won the same award.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker expects the Premier League champions to extend his contract by an additional year. The Brazil international's current deal at Anfield is due to expire next summer.
