The group were reportedly seen in the same area on Monday night and according to locals, one of the bikes was spotted on social media with the rider filming themselves pulling stunts. Similar bikes are often seen across the city dodging in and out of traffic and pulling wheelies, with those riding them rarely seen wearing helmets, Edinburgh Live reports. It comes after we reported how a large group of Edinburgh bikers teamed up with officers at Police Scotland to help identify where bikes are reportedly being 'stashed' by thieves and identifying those responsible. The group are also taking time out of their day to help track down stolen bikes within the city and reunite them with their owners, as well as frequently reporting sightings and suspicious activity back to police. Special police operations have also been targeting the use of illegal motorbikes in Edinburgh, with several being seized in recent weeks. Between May 26-29 police in the south west arrested 11 individuals. Six vehicles, including e-bikes, were also seized. Several e-bikes were also recovered during May, with those riding them charged with alleged road traffic offences.

The wheelchair user unexpectedly went on the self-service rampage within a Morrisons. Shocking footage caught the moment a woman appeared to launch several items into the air as customers were heard gasping and shouting. ‌ Witnesses said she attacked other shoppers during her riot, and rowed with another customer at the tills at the store's self-service checkout area, The Mirror reports. ‌ A voice can be heard shouting "you stupid b****" as the woman in the wheelchair appeared to pick up other products and catapult them towards the other shopper. The in-store video then showed several members of staff rushing to try and stop the unexpected self-checkout area clash - several members of the public and security officers also seemed to jump in to stop the shock encounter. Manchester Evening News reports this woman was then filmed as she goes to repeatedly kick the other customer and seems to continue attacking her after falling to the ground - before being pulled back by a member of staff. A third customer appears to then kick her as she leaves the self-checkout area. ‌ The two women then both fall to the ground gripping one another as they are surrounded by a group of onlookers at the store, in Eccles, Greater Manchester, who try to drag them apart. The shopper who filmed the chaotic self-checkout incident said the woman with a wheelchair "started screaming and throwing things" but had no idea "what set her off". ‌ The customer said: "To be honest, I am not too sure what set her off. She just started screaming and throwing things. Then she got out of her chair and attacked a poor woman who only came in for a balloon." Another witness then claimed that the woman began "swinging" at an officer after police were called to the supermarket. Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to the supermarket. They were at around 6.15pm to reports of two women fighting. One woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and assaulting a police officer.

Inspector Keith Warhurst, 50, was claimed to have posted an indecent video of topless women to a work WhatsApp group of police sergeants in October 2017. He was then said to have committed perjury while giving evidence during the employment tribunal involving ex-firearms officer Rhona Malone in August 2021. Ms Malone had raised concerns over sexism within Police Scotland after receiving an email stating female officers should not be deployed together when there was sufficient male staff on duty. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Former Police Scotland Inspector Keith Warhurst outside the Edinburgh Sheriff Court | Alexander Lawrie One female officer was told women should not be firearms officers because they menstruate and this would affect their temperament. The tribunal accepted evidence that the culture in parts of the armed division of the force was 'horrific' and an 'absolute boys club'. Ms Malone was offered a small payout after she raised her concerns on the condition she signed a non disclosure agreement but she refused and after winning her case was awarded the sum of £947,909.07. But following a trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court the perjury charge against Warhurst was found by a jury to have not been proven by the Crown on Wednesday, June 4. The jury delivered a not guilty verdict to the charge of Warhurst sending the indecent video to the WhatsApp group. But the jury did find him guilty of a charge of making a derogatory sexist comment regarding the partner of his colleague and friend PC John Morgan. He was granted an absolute discharge on that offence by Sheriff Derek O'Carroll. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The court was told PC Morgan had informed colleagues he had found out his partner was six months pregnant during a shift changeover within an office at Police Scotland HQ at Fettes in Edinburgh in March 2017. The jury was told Warhurst, who has since retired from the force, had replied to the news by stating 'well she must be a right f***ing fat bitch if she didn't realise she was pregnant'. Warhurst, of Livingston, West Lothian, was alleged to have told the employment tribunal he had not made the derogatory comment but the jury also cleared of him of that allegation with their not proven verdict. Following the jury's verdict Warhurst and his wife quickly left the court building without making comment.
