'Australia's hottest WAG' Chelsea Becirevic reveals the 'gross' sexist question she can't stand being asked about her footy star boyfriend Ivan Soldo

Daily Mail20-05-2025

Footy WAG Chelsea Becirevic has opened up about the question that she can't stand being asked about her boyfriend Ivan Soldo, insisting that the football world can be 'incredibly toxic towards women'.
The 24-year-old influencer took to Instagram on Monday night to do a Q&A with her 83,000 followers, revealing that she will be taking in some of Europe's most famous locations on a big holiday later this year.
However, the former air hostess was not impressed when somebody replied: 'Let me guess.. Europe all on poor Ivan's dollar?'
Becirevic fired back: 'It's wild how often I get messages like this, usually from fake accounts consistently implying I'm only with my partner for his money or that I don't have anything of my own going on.
'The assumption is not just false, it's tired, small-minded and honestly gross. You see 1% of our lives on here, if that. You actually don't know anything.
'Why is it so hard to believe that a woman can be with a successful man and be successful herself or have her own money?
The influencer said that 'the football world can be incredibly toxic towards women'
'The football world can be incredibly toxic towards women. I don't usually say anything but the constant judgement and dismissive narratives... I'm exhausted by it.'
Becirevic first rose to prominence when she briefly left her Port Power boyfriend because she found life in Adelaide to be a 'struggle'.
Her remarks sparked a frenzy in the City of Churches as locals reacted to her suggesting their city was 'too boring'.
Becirevic moved to Dubai and worked as an air hostess for several months before returning 'home', explaining she hated the long distance and missed her boyfriend.
Soldo - who won a premiership with Richmond in 2019 - last year requested a trade back to Melbourne after just one year in Adelaide.
Some footy fans suspected Becirevic was lobbying behind the scenes for the couple to return to the Victorian capital.
However, it seems she is having a much better time of it in Adelaide this time around.
Responding to one question from a follower about coming back to live in the city, she said 'It's been so much better and [I'm] slowly meeting people which has definitely helped'.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia at last year's Melbourne Cup, Becirevic clarified her remarks about Adelaide.
'People have taken what I said the wrong way. I never dissed Adelaide, ever. I love Adelaide - I have lived there for the past year,' she said.

Rhian Sugden sets pulses racing as she shows off her 'big old boobs' in white sheer bra ahead of her breast reduction surgery

Rhian Sugden sent temperatures soaring as she flaunted her 'big old boobs' while posing in a sexy sheer bra ahead of her breast reduction surgery. The glamour model, 38, looked sensational in the laced lingerie set as she beamed for the lens. 'A moment for my skin and another for the tig ol bitties,' she captioned her latest Instagram post on Friday. 'T minus 2 weeks before these absolute back breakers get an overhaul making me a perky Sue again.' Rhian recently revealed she wanted to get breast reduction surgery as her size F-cup bust make it 'unbearable' to walk. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'A moment for my skin and another for the tig ol bitties,' she captioned her latest Instagram post She wrote: 'One month to go until my breast uplift + reduction = one perkier, lighter, better version of me incoming! 'The countdown to the boob reboot is ON! @pallmallcosmetics ✨.' Rhian previously shared a comparison photo of her breasts - one showing her current large breasts and another showing what they looked like before. She also posted several screenshots of cruel comments from trolls criticising her decision to reduce her size, before revealing her 'soon-to-be nipple position' to her followers. Explaining her reasons for wanting the surgery, Rhian said: '12 months ago before I got pregnant my boobs where large but still at a manageable size of a DD/E cup.' 'After having a baby my size has increased to an F and I'm spilling out of my bras even at that size. I'm having an uplift and a reduction.' 'Boob experts (men) are messaging me telling me to just lose weight and they'll shrink. Look at me!?? I'm the size I was yet despite your professional advice my melons haven't shrunk. Who'd have thought?' She went on: 'My back hurts. I long to wear backless dresses. Buy sexy lingerie, wear no bra when I go out, run, swim without them falling out of my swim suit. They don't make me happy this big. 'Messaging me and calling me deluded for wanting a reduction to go back to the size I was 12 months ago - is absurd. Seriously, what is wrong with humans these days. 'It's MY body. It's my Happiness and it's MY choice. 'The surgeon has said my nipples are 11 centimetres LOWER than they should be, that my friends is not where I want them. 'I'm sharing my journey as it's a very big and yes, scary move for me but this is something I NEED to do for myself. To make myself feel better. 'It'd be nice to have support and people that don't have anything nice to say just don't say anything at all ❤️'

James Maddison breaks his silence after Ange Postecoglou's sacking as Tottenham star follows team-mates in sending message to former boss

has become the latest Tottenham Hotspur player to pay tribute to Ange Postecoglou following the manager's sacking, posting a heartfelt message nearly 24 hours after the news was confirmed. Maddison took to social media shortly before 4pm on Saturday to thank Postecoglou for his faith and leadership during their time together at Spurs, describing the Australian as a man with 'great morals' and a winning mentality. The creative midfielder, who was signed by Postecoglou in the summer of 2023 and almost immediately named as one of the club's vice-captains, joined a growing list of team-mates who have publicly thanked the outgoing boss after he was ruthlessly dismissed by the club on Friday. In a post addressed to 'Gaffer', Maddison wrote: 'Firstly, thank you for bringing me to this wonderful club that I now call my home. Your instant belief in me to not only sign me but make me the club's vice captain & part of the leadership group from the get go is something I'll always be thankful for. 'Secondly for the Europa league campaign that started in our stadium on gameweek one and finished perfectly with that special night in Bilbao. You led us to victory and we're European champions and in this club's history books because of you and your winning mentality. 'Lastly and most importantly is how you are as a man and a person. Your unwavering self belief and strong mindset is infectious and a massive reason in why you were the man to end this club's 17 year drought for a trophy. Maddison's tribute followed messages from several Spurs stars, including club captain Son Heung-min, who shared his own post around 8am on Saturday morning. 'Gaffer. You've changed the trajectory of this club,' Son wrote on Instagram. 'You believed in yourself, and us, since day one and never wavered for a second. Even when others did. 'You knew what we were capable of all along. You did it your way. And your way brought this club the best night it's had in decades. We will have those memories for life. 'You trusted me with the captaincy. One of the highest honours of my career. It's been an incredible privilege to learn from your leadership up close, I am a better player and a better person because of you. 'Ange Postecoglou, you are a Tottenham Hotspur legend forever. Thank you, mate.' The flood of tributes had begun soon after Tottenham confirmed Postecoglou's dismissal on Friday afternoon, just 16 days after he led the club to a 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the Europa League final — ending a 17-year wait for major silverware and securing Champions League qualification. Tottenham issued a 368-word statement thanking Postecoglou for his service but claimed the board had 'unanimously' agreed that a change of manager was the best way forward following a dismal domestic campaign that saw Spurs finish 17th in the Premier League. Among the first players to react was Pedro Porro, who posted: 'Thank you for everything, boss… Above everything, you gave us one of the greatest moments in the club's history and for that, you'll always be celebrated.' Gaffer, where to start. Firstly, thank you for bringing me to this wonderful club that I now call my home. Your instant belief in me to not only sign me but make me the clubs vice captain & part of the leadership group from the get go is something I'll always be thankful for.… — James Maddison (@Madders10) June 7, 2025 Richarlison wrote: 'Mister, massive thanks for helping me out and believing in me during one of the trickiest periods of my career and my life… We've made history!' Dominic Solanke said: 'Won't ever forget the convo we had before I signed and we achieved a dream!' Guglielmo Vicario — another member of the leadership group — added: 'You are not only a top manager, you are an incredible person to work for, a real leader, a mentor, and someone I'll always look up to.' Centre-back Micky van de Ven summed up the general feeling as he wrote: 'Many ups and downs in the last two years but you kept believing in us… forever grateful.' Postecoglou himself released a parting statement, reflecting on his two years at the club with pride. The statement read: 'When I reflect on my time as Manager of Tottenham Hotspur my overriding emotion is one of pride. 'The opportunity to lead one of England's historic football clubs and bring back the glory it deserves will live with me for a lifetime. Sharing that experience with all those who truly love this club and seeing the impact it had on them is something I will never forget. 'That night in Bilbao was the culmination of two years of hard work, dedication and unwavering belief in a dream. There were many challenges to overcome and plenty of noise that comes with trying to accomplish what many said was not possible. 'We have also laid foundations that mean this club should not have to wait 17 more years for their next success. I have enormous faith in this group of players and know there is much more potential and growth in them. 'I sincerely want to thank those who are the lifeblood of the club, the supporters. I know there were some difficult times but I always felt that they wanted me to succeed and that gave me all the motivation I needed to push on. 'It's important to acknowledge the hard working people at Spurs who gave me encouragement on a daily basis. 'And finally, I want to thank those who were with me every day for the last two years. A fantastic group of young men who are now legends of this football club and the brilliant coaches who never once doubted we could do something special.

Tinie Tempah says nightlife crisis means ‘losing that physical connection'

Tinie Tempah has said that young people are 'losing that physical connection' by not being part of the UK's nightlife economy as he teased new music. The 36-year-old rapper, from south London, is backing the Night Time Industries Association's (NTIA) The Last Night Out campaign, which pushes for people to get away from their screens and onto the dance floor. Advertisement 'As a dad, I've seen how different things are for this generation,' said Tempah, who has not released a studio album since 2017's Youth, as he appears to have focused towards his children and taken a break from music. 'We're losing that physical connection, the joy and energy that you get from dancing, meeting new people from all backgrounds and being free. Tinie Tempah is backing The Last Night Out campaign (Chris J Ratcliffe/PA) 'I didn't want to just talk about it – I wanted to do something. Music brings people together – and nightlife is where that magic happens.' The campaign calls on the UK government to step up and provide urgent financial support for night-time venues as well as cultural protection for 'iconic clubs'. Advertisement The NTIA released data last year showing 37 per cent of nightclubs had closed across the UK since March 2020. Tempah has returned to the studio and is developing a collaboration with gaming platforms Roblox and Fortnite to integrate music and virtual life, according to the NTIA. He is also creating a short film and a series of live events focused on 'driving energetic movement and nightlife', which will be unveiled at technology, creative and business conference SXSW London on Friday. He will be joined at the event at London nightclub XOYO by NTIA chief executive Michael Kill, north London musician and DJ Majestic and BBC Radio 1 DJ Charlie Tee for a 'one-off evening of music, culture and conversation about the future of the UK's night-time economy'. Advertisement View this post on Instagram A post shared by SXSW London (@sxswlondon) Mr Kill said: 'It's been amazing to see how Tinie Tempah has resonated with The Last Night Out's message. 'He really understands what's at stake – not just for club culture, but for society. 'Nightlife isn't just entertainment; it's a space for freedom, creativity, connection and movement. We're thrilled to have Tinie Tempah bring his voice, his energy and his music to the campaign.' Introduced to the NTIA by the Mayor of London's office, Tempah believes the shared experience of nightlife is an important part of the UK's future society. Advertisement Tempah, known for hits including Written In The Stars and Pass Out, has presented the six-part art show Extraordinary Portraits as well as a property programme called Extraordinary Extensions. His recent music has included the 2021 track Love Me Like This with Swedish singer Maia Wright, and 2023 song How You Samba, a collaboration with Dutch DJ Kris Kross Amsterdam and Mexican singer and songwriter Sofia Reyes.
